Was this the tenth time he'd been here? Or was it the twentieth?
Marosa had lost count.
Flipping the seed between his fingers and across his knuckle, he thought for a moment before leaning over to look down the well, leaning just a little bit too far and wincing as he caught his balance just in time.
The seed fell off of his knuckles, his grabbing gesture just missing. He watched it fall, pursing his lips in slight anticipation, but not getting his hopes up too high.

Takeing out another seed to make another wish as it would be cool if any of this wishes would come true. Throwing the seed into the well, Adyian closed his eyes and make his wish to let someones else wish come true.

Aislin cupped the little seed in her palms as she stood over the wishing well. For a few moments she looked down into it, trying to catch a glimmer of the water she was pretty sure rested at the bottom. She also tried to think of a good wish. Finally she seemed to come upon the right one, for she leaned in and whispered lightly to the seed in her palm. Once done she dropped the colorful little thing into the black mouth of the well, leaning forward to listen for a splash.

On his way back from Riley's booth, Barth stopped, contemplatively, by the wishing well. He was feeling vindicative. Wishing, of course, was all hypothetical, and more self-inquiry than a method of legitimate obtainment. Most of the time.
What would he want, any way, with a wish?
Revenge for his booth came to mind, but he could manage it himself, eventually, and really it was all classic rivalry stuff. He wouldn't bring up the sabotage with the administration (he expected they might distantly approve, any way). And what were demons without the occasional territory struggle? Back-and-forths like this were just games. Shadow-boxing.
The vandalization hadn't stung at all compared to the humiliation of having his friends desert him at the first sign of trouble. He was a beggar and dependent, and without a social network it was back to that filthy, piled apartment and a dimming future.
What irked him was that Riley would probably get what she wanted. And why not? She was a hard-worker, an active member of the student body, who endeavored to meet and help any other student that needed it. Energy. Effort. And the success to show for it. It was, as far as he was concerned, a morality tale.
He hated morality.
...And he hated that Christof probably would end up at her side instead of his. That Christof continued to see him as weak, and clever, but pitiable. His poor Master. The worst part was that he was weak. He knew how to use it to his advantage, most of the time. But even if he wanted to be otherwise, he could only be...what he was.
So where was it all headed? They each had paths set before them, dictated by their actions. Sluggards, servants, conquerers. And what could he do? Work towards a different outcome? He folded his hands and leaned forward against the well. Who could say. He was, as usual, dependent on the whims of chance. His only saving grace was that chance had a sense of humor.
Karma was less forgiving. Relying on that, it was easy see where everyone, and especially he, was going.
He settled for wishing, "That neither I, or my friends, would get what we deserve."
He dropped his seed.

Night had heard of the well that granted wishes and had decided to sop by. His hands quivered on one of his seeds as he debated on just what to wish for. Taking a second, then breathing, He thought hard for his wish and tossed the seed in.

Adyian came back to the wishing well to make another wish as it never hurt to make a wish he thought. Taking out a seed from his pouch as he tossed it into the well. Closing his eyes as he mad his wish of to find some good friends.
