Claire was suddenly very confused. She nodded at him as he left and just stood there awkwardly. But Claire didn't have a super long bawwfest about it, she just went to the food table and checked everything out as the music got louder and louder and louder. Everything looked so nice. But no, she had already eaten. Okay, maybe just a little of that stuff right there. Oooh, it tasted good! One more won't hurt, right? Delicious. Claire saw Bul, the guy she met in the library and wondered what he had gotten her. Claire miraculously showed some self-restraint. No, she would not have any more food. She had had enough! Yes. Yes indeed.

There was that reddish hue on her cheeks again. It still was a bit strange to see, seeing how her mask would normally hide that. Staring at her for a moment, he soon blinked as she mentioned that she tried. Judging from that response, things didn't turn out too well with it.
"I'm sure you're fine," Shun murmured.
The girl was rather clumsy though. That.. didn't necessarily mean she was a horrid dancer, however.
---
Glancing to the side, Jericho noticed Lizzy cheering on for Mot. Well if she was going to do that, he figured he may as well cheer for Levi.
"Get 'em Levi!" he shouted with a grin. With the lights focused on the two fierce dancers, it was easier to keep track of the two on the floor. It was really hard to see who would turn out to be the winner in this dance-war.
As he watched, he noticed a familiar face sneaking towards the sausage table. What the? Didn't Levi say that Demi flaked?
"VOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!! PUP!!! OVER HERE" shouted Jericho over the music to grab Demi's attention.

The spot light and cheering did not go unnoticed. In fact, it egged his ego on. This battle was the highlight of his evening.
Then Levi pulled a low move: Literally. "Ooooh no you didn't." Mot laughed, shaking his head. No, he would not back down. His fancy footwork started up again, matching each of her steps, side to side, back and forth, a few turns and......
The splits.
Not perfect, not in the least, but he made a valient effort, sliding up again into a bounce, fancy footwork jig and a heel click. He nodded his head at his opponent with a smirk.

((Posting from phone lol)) There was one face Bul didn't expect to see there that he was absolutely thrilled to see. He could tell the boil was trying to remain unseen but he wasn't going to let him off that easy. It was more fun than formal anyway nowl. "Demi!!! " Bul called out, hoping his voice would carry over the music. "DEMI!! " With a toothy grin he looked to Mei. "Demi is responsible for this suit." Again he whipped back to Demi. "Demi has officially attended Amityville's first annual prom!!"

"Mot, Levi! Whoooo!" She cheered for both her friends now, clapping her hands as the song reached its end and both parties did their final moves, "You guys are great!" Hopefully, Xiu was taking photos of both of them from somewhere!
"Oh, how did it come to this?" She giggled, shuffling closer to Jericho, grinning at the boil, "I'll have to ask for a dance from you sometime soon~" His 'voi' caused her to freeze up, and then laugh; he probably spotted someone familiar? She didn't know anyone by the name of 'pup' though.

West nodded while he continued to chew, taking in the knowledge that the spider ghoul was the one responsible for the change in Holly, at least appearance-wise. He only spoke again once there was no danger of choking. "Dessert's fer later," he agreed, looking down at his plate. It appeared to be empty. West supposed that was for the best. If there was going to be dancing in his future, he didn't want there also to be puking.
Dancing. Holly was right, he wasn't much of a dancer, at least when he didn't have Yaya to direct him. The djinn had made proper dancing seem almost fun. Almost. "Not usu'ly. Might try it later." The thought made him feel simultaneously embarrassed and fluttery, and the fluttery feeling made him angry. At least that sensation was welcome.
His anger only deepened when the ghost turned and cheered on the tatzel, her apparent friend. "You... know her?" He sat back in his seat and slid his hands off of the table, balling them back into fists in his lap. At least he was making an attempt to hide his anger. It was a start towards positive interaction with normal people, right?

Raising a brow to Mot's final smirk at her, she blanked on the fact that he was not tatzel. The boil had moves just as good as some of her kin and she began to dance as if she were indeed back home.
It was a small miracle in her eyes. The tatzel was able to dance in the open as she'd never been able to do before...and as a tatzel.
Almost like a meld into ballet and gymnastics, her body began to move in more limber ways. Near cartwheels and full twirls were possible with her picking up the skirt high enough. The additional tail was the key-
Rapid spins and knees coming up high for kicks (thank you Lizzy for remembering the slimmer bloomers), she finished it off with a backwards summersault provided by aid from her tail... which flickered behind her curving along her back in time to catch her. She stool on her tail now in a sit with arms out in a Y, giving a proper end shoutout just as the music died down:
YEEEEEHAAAAW~!!!

Woah! Levi was going all out! "Damn, ghoul! You are one tough cookie!" Mot grinned, wildly following along to the tatzel's moves. Cartwheels? Yes. Though they were one handed. One needed to be on his hat! Points for amazing? yes. Full on flips? No dice. he had no tail. But he made up some fancy moves to compensate. The song was ending and he had to make it work!
Finally, in unison with his partner,
"YEEEEEHAAAW!!" as he finished off with his arms out wide.

Mitsu shrugged a bit, she hadn't really attempted to dance with anyone outside of dance class but she had stepped on enough feet to worry about trying. The lupine had started to open her mouth to say something else when the loud 'VOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIII' rang out over the music, talking, and general noise.
So it had been Jericho who had made that noise at open house....and now that she thought about it...hadn't she heard that on her first day to campus? He certainly drew in the attention. Looking around to see who the dragon was calling out to, Mitsu tried to look for someone of the canine persuasion. The only one she managed to spot right away was Demi.
"So what do you think will happen next?" Mitsu asked turning her attention back to Shun. The little performance earlier seemed to be only the beginning of something.

Barth perked up at seeing Calder again. "Hello! Open House go alright? Oh, yes, nice to meet you, err...well, I expect we've met before," he extended, more wary than polite.
He knew the staff was now cooperating with the Horsemen, there'd been that announcement, but they hadn't been without their scuffles on the island. And, of course, there'd been all the dying.
"This is Lilith," he said, one set of claws resting around her waist, then to his date, "Calder managed the Booth for me while I was away."

The song ended and the dancers struck their final poses. Cheers sounded with Ash's voice joining them, only amplified by the microphone. She left the spot-light on the two winded dancers for a few moments longer. "Way to DANCE! Everyone else should be jealous of those two, because they've seriously got all the moves!
"Moving along, though, here's our next song. Maybe you'll all start feeling the Dance Magic with this song by David Bowie!"She flicked off the spotlight, cranked up the music, and began rocking it out behind the booth by herself.

Oh the smell from the table was like heaven for the hungry boil that spent the better of the day arguing with the other personalities in his head, left no time for eating and drinking in between heated arguments with yourself.
he was slowly inching his way closer and closer to the area with the meticulously cut and prepared hour doves that begged to be placed into a dainty plate and taken back into the corner to be savored slowly.
At least until his ears were assaulted with the scream of a dragon that could no doubt be addressing him and him alone with the note of that nickname. He felt the blood in his vein stop momentarily before rushing a full speed for him to get out of there in his shiny wingtips and hide.
Any chance for escape was cut off after the glowing dapper dressed half beast managed to get in the way of where he was planning on dashing through. Damien had to admit, Bul carried the suit well, better than the hound thought he would, even after helping him pick out the main piece.
He knew it was too late to hide anymore from the two boils that knew how to shout it from the moonlight rooftops that he was here. With slumped shoulders and a flop of his ears next to his combed down hair, he had to let himself fall back into the old mannerisms of the clan's grand parties. "Dammit, and I was hoping to just to be a wallflower you guys."

"Later on? Sure thing," chuckled Jericho. He had danced with Lizzy before and he knew she wouldn't end up dragging him across the dance floor like Levi had. The dragon did kind of enjoy it, despite how adamant he was against it during scarentine.
Turning his attention back towards the dance floor, his eyes widened as he saw the Tatzel really get into things and start doing flips and the like.
"Jack damn she's good," he blinked before chuckling. Since the two had finished, he started to clap for the two. They both did pretty great.
Turning his attention towards Demi in the distance, he furrowed his brow as he could have sworn the pup was trying to run away. That wouldn't do. But then again perhaps he just wanted to stop by and speak to Bul, who he now saw as well.
----
Shun stared at Jericho when he voi'd. So the dragon was the cause of all of that. Damn he had a pair of lungs. Shaking his head to himself, he watched the dance off end, then turned towards Mitsu with a shrug.
"Good question. Perhaps some of the games would be starting up sometime," he suggested.
"Or more dancing. It is a school dance and all," he murmured.

The two had caught up with Lizzy and company and now Charlie was beaming. It was nice to be around friends with his special friend. Amrita and Charlie shared a lot of the same friends after all so there was no awkwardness being around her friends. Because they were his to! Mostly? "Dance? Naaaaa not yet. " Charlie looked around the place in awe. Thoughts of taking a decoration or two still swam through his head. "Mannn I wish my room was this cool." His attention was called away from the decorations though with a very loud YEEEHAAAWWWWW sound. That stranger dude with the possible van and some snake girl cat were really making the party work. Charlie lifted his arms up and cried out a nice YEAAAHHHAWWERRRYAWWWWWWWWW ! Not quite a Yeeeehawwww but he tried.

"Awesome~" She grinned at the dragon before turning her attention back to the dance floor. The grand finale held her attention as she held her breath, letting it out only when she heard the 'Yeehaw' from both parties. She stood there, her expression one that resembled the following as she looked at her date, now seemingly 100 times as awesome as before:
