โTrust me when I say....โ  ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐It just so happened that the drawer Shadow opened was the one that Kodi had his knife burried in, that and a little sky blue, leather-bound book that had the word 'Journal' engraved into the center of the leather cover in gold. On the other hand, Kodi continued to occupy herself with picking up Shadow's room, but leaving some things the way they were out of either disgust or fear. โTrust me when I say....โ ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐On most of the pages, they were only a quarter filled with either messy pencil hand-writting, or sloppy ink marks. Their contents weren't much more than Kodi writing about how Shadow had pissed her off each day, and how the rest of the day wasn't all that exciting. But as Shadow flipped through the pages more, getting deeper into the journal, Kodi had written more, and soon the entries became one to two pages long, front and back. And her hand-writting had gotten neater and was looking more girly each time. The entries that'd grown longer, had also grown to have a deeper meaning behind them than just Kodi blowing off steam by writing how much Shadow irked her, and they held some of her biggest secrets and thoughts, most were ones she'd never voice aloud to anyone. But on the last entry, it was only one line long, the page was spotless, where as the others held small little marks from pencil tapping or pen doodling, and the date read two days ago; He's driving me crazy. Why'd he have to make me feel like this? it said in Kodi's neat cursive writing, and the remaining pages, from there on, were blank.ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ

โTrust me when I say....โ ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐Kodi sighed as she finished picking up the garbage and clothing, deciding that it was clean enough for now, and she sat down on the bed, letting her hands fall into her lap. She looked around the room once again, trying to ignore the pictures on the wall and the creepy stuff, and pretended that they weren't there. She was bored, and she didn't really have anything to do, and she kept getting the urge to look through some of Shadow's things, but the thought made her shudder at some of the things she might possibly find. This was Shadow we're talking about, he could have anything. She closed her eyes for a moment, then layed back, staring at the ceiling. "Okay, seriously? How does he SLEEP with these pictures on his walls?" she muttered to herself, rolling to her side and bringing her legs up, curling up into a ball on the bed. She stared at the pillow, frowning. Now that she thought about it, she never hid her box right, it was probably still sticking out a bit from under her bed. God she hoped that Shadow wouldn't see it, or even notice its existance.ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ

On Shadow's nightstand was a small picture in a frame standing up. It held an image of a young girl, perhaps about twelve, with shoulder-length gold hair and bright, blue eyes. Along with these traits were a lovely smile and a blue dress similar to Alice's from Alice in Wonderland. I walk a lonely road

She knew that most generally the mutants here didn't know what their past held, but she wondered if Shadow was different, after all, he even told her once before that he was different because he was mutated more than others, or something weird like that. "Tch, like he'd tell me. He'd probably only start saying stupid stuff, and make me look retarded like he always does." she growled, frowning. She set the picture back down on the nightstand, then stood up. Her curiousity was getting the better of her, so she walked over to his dresser, opening one at random and peeking in cautiously.ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ

She closed the drawer, her curiousity no longer pushing her to look through anything more, and she went back to the bed, and she curled up into a ball, sighing as she closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She wanted this week to go by fast, and sleep was the easiest way for hours to pass by her with it feeling like minutes rather than hours. ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ

โTrust me when I say....โ ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐It wasn't long before Kodi fell asleep, she didn't expect to be so tired, but then again, she hadn't really been getting all that much sleep lately, and she was constantly pushing the thought of sleep and her fatigue to the back of her mind to keep her going. She was out like a light nearly the second she closed her eyes, and, had she not been so tired, she wouldn't found it surprising ow easy it was to fall asleep so fast in here. But her conscious mind would've tried to come up with a different solution, like her beeing too tired to worry about where she slept or her body finally giving into the fatigue. But it mainly had to do with the fact that this was Shadow's room.
**As Shadow looked up at Kodi's ceiling, he could see the glow-in-the-dark star stickers she'd put up there a long time ago, but if he looked hard enough, he could see a little dark square held up by one of the star stickers. It was a picture. In the picture, a woman who looked a lot like Kodi, but only she didn't have any wolf ears and her eyes were a paler shade of purple and weren't quiet as cautious and cold as Kodi's, was laying in a hospital bed, smiling at the camera. And even though her hair was in a messy bun and falling out, and her eyes held bags under them from lack of sleep and fatigue, she still managed to look quite attractive. In the woman's arms though, was a baby fast asleep. The baby, obviously, was Kodi. ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ [[{{ OOC: xD You know, I actually have no clue, what so ever. Maybe it's some sort of weird turtle alien thing, kinda' like Noba from Bleach, I guess.

The picture looked like it was stuffed up there with something else, something behind it. If Shadow were to either sit up and look at it or stand up, he could see that it was a white envelope, one that'd never been opened before. ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ

โTrust me when I say....โ ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐The moment Shadow touched the envelope and picture, the star sticker itself tumbled down, just barely able to continue sticking to the ceiling. On the back of the picture there was sloppy hand-writting that read the birthdays of the people in the picture: DaKoda; May 14th, XXXX. Bailey; May 15th, XXXX. On the other hand, the envelope was spotless aside from the name DaKoda written in fancy cursive on the lower right-hand corner. It wasn't very thick, and it was light, so there couldn't be much more than maybe one or two pages inside. ฮบฯศกษฉ ษฑษััษชษด โ...My bite is worse than my bark....โ
