Ivynian update on the salvage efforts: The inside of the house is black! black black. Here's a for instance.That table as you can see is white, where the book was. While the book looks kinda okay, the heat made the pages brittle like thin talc, even if they weren't cinder. But things move forward. Things are beginning to look up. Ugh. I hope it works out in the end for them, Ivy, and wish them lots of luck. I recently watched the movie that is linked to that book as well as the two others, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, and The Girl Who Played With Fire. All three were very interesting.
