"This is for both of us."
Riley tensed slightly in Jericho's arms, her eyes losing their focus on Nukpana and staring down at no particular point. Jericho's arms were strong, and warm, and fierce. He was holding her back, not just to calm her, but to force down the rage built up inside himself. The same kind of rage she'd just unleashed on the students. It ebbed out of him the same way it ebbed out of her. It was the passionate rage of a fighter. A warrior.
Her eyes brightened for a moment, before dimming in realization - and fear.
"Feeling any better?"
She squirmed just enough to face him, glaring up at that determined face, and her heart squeezed painfully. It was enough to make her strength return, and she tensed every muscle in her body before reaching up and pulling his arms apart. She wasn't trying to hurt him, but it would be obvious from the force exerted that she needed to be let go - now.
No. She whispered, before shaking her head in an instant reaction. I mean yes. I mean, I am - just. Yes.
Nukpana's sudden outburst was like the sound of music to her. She turned her attention to the skinwalker, and held out her gun - but he was already trying to search for his own. Nevertheless, she left her gun for him, in case he wanted to dual-wield (unknowingly making one of his wishes come true.)
Maybe.. her thoughts, and eyes, drifted back to the dragon at her side, pausing her sentence - but she forced them back to Nukpana. Her duty would keep her focused. Maybe you'll have better luck with two guns. Don't hurt him too much, we'll need him for the real game.
With that, she turned quickly to head back to the cart without another word. She just needed some time to cool off and have a level head again. That was all.
She was sure of it.
((Nukpana can now roll 2d20.))

Petro was not happy with the sudden turn of events. Sparring against ghouls was never comfortable for him because he just couldn't bring himself to attack a ghoul. No matter how good they were. He was about to tell Lizzy that she would have to shoot him first before he could even consider retaliation when there was a sharp stinging pain.
Who the- Riley. Shot him. Well, that was when everyone had begun firing and running and his instincts just sort of kicked in. He'd taken aim. Not really sure how he was supposed to jacking aim with a gun but fired all the same.
Except he didn't hit Riley. He'd hit someone else.

Lizzy won't take no as an answer.
Especially not in her current mood.
However, in her current mood, she also didn't feel much like taking the effort to aim properly; hopefully Riley wouldn't notice. Then again, she did hit her twice for no apparent reason. On purpose. That really hurt, and more than just in the physical sense; of course, her being sad faced meant that she wasn't quite as bothered by the hug between Riley and Jericho.
Walking away so that she was now a distance away from Petro, she pulled the trigger twice, aiming in the boil's general direction as well as in Riley's direction.

The bare skin of his arms felt the sudden displacement of air. Sharply, he turned towards the direction, the muzzle of his gun already pointed and finger squeezing on the trigger. It occurs to him, belatedly, that it was Lizzy he was firing at. Well, at least she attacked him first.
...
That was the spider demoness who'd shot those misses, right? He wasn't really sure how he aligned his sights on her properly. He just knew there were more splotches of color on her. "Move in zigzag, Lizzy! Can't hit y' if y' keep moving!" he called out.
No, he was not taunting her. That grin? That was happiness at activity. That's all it was. Really!

That's more like it!
Wincing as the paintball hit, she rubbed the now sore spot before looking up at her attacker. She couldn't help but grin when she saw the look on his face; while she was still feeling... Rather down, she couldn't help feeling that she should at least put some effort into this in order to not let Petro down, or something along those lines.
"I'll keep that in mind!" Her grin grew as she started to run (alright, so those morning exercises did come in handy) before aiming at Petro and shooting; too bad running and shooting at the same time was harder than it looks.

Petro ducked low as the paintballs shot overhead, actually glad for the helmet. He was sure one of those would have snagged on his mane-spike without the protective headgear. He hefted the gun and took aim, barely missing the pink-haired ghoul as she did as he'd suggested.
"Y' see? Y' gotta keep moving!" he encouraged.

"Very good advice," She laughed, but anyone could see that she was starting to run out of breath as she increased the distance between them. Trying to steady her hands, she stopped momentarily to aim at Petro before firing... Ugh! That was so close!

The horse boil was already low on the ground, barely managing to roll to the side to avoid getting hit. Still, he wasn't able to completely avoid the ammunition, as evidenced by the small dots of paint flecking his skin. For being the possibly least dressed on the field, he sure didn't have a lot of paint on him.
Rolling and aiming was obviously not a good combination either as his attacks were way off their mark. Possibly even ended up hitting some other student.

Lizzy was trying to fix the problem of Petro not having enough paint on him. She was trying hard, but she was also having fun at the same time; surprisingly, the fact that she had missed all her shots wasn't bother her as much as she thought it would. This was fun. She wins in that sense.
She didn't even have to duck Petro's next shot, as it went in another direction. Taking the chance to fire, she aimed at the boil on the ground and pulled the trigger. Too bad she missed. Again.

Altair knew s**t was going down when Riley went full rage mode, scrambling back to his feet and starting to back off. He saw the gun start spitting out friendly fire at everyone and whipped around to run as every shot hit dead on, only to catch the paintball in the back of the head. The incubus's visor hit the dirt hard. Still, it was more than satisfying to hear Nuk cursing in pain, and as he rolled over, he caught a glimpse of the skinwalker clutching his nuts. Poor b*****d, he hadn't meant to clip him quite that well.
Getting unsteadily back to his feet, he smirked, allowing himself to laugh at Nuk as he writhed on the ground. Then the skinwalker dropped the gun and Altair got a face full of paint. He swore and jerked back, wiping off his visor with one hand in disgust. Nuk's cries for vengeance were met with a sneer until he noticed that Riley was offering the skinwalker her gun, growling. Always interrupting their battles!
"Take it, Nukpana, you need the extra help. You might actually hit me on purpose this time," he taunted.

There had been banter, there had been "missfires", and there had been chaos before everyone started partnering off. Automatically the ghost glances sidelong towards Bul, smirking faintly. Of the two people attending that he knew well, the half beast would be the one he'd feel less guilty about shooting. It was actually a relief when Junko ran off to partner with someone else.
"So, we gunna do this thing?" Slipping his helmet on, he shouldered his gun and pointed it squarely at the other boil's chest.
He wasn't familiar with the kick-back of his weapon, and as a result the shot went wide, leaving Bul's chest guard shiney and untouched. "Weak.."

Thankfully the helmet hid most of Astras face as Riley came over to help her hold her gun better, and while she was happy for the help it still didn't make her feel any better. Until the new game started. She brightened up considerably when Riley said they could use their wings to hover up to 15 feet. That was plenty of space for her!
Her triumphant feelings soon faded as they were asked to pair up, and she looked around for a possible partner but found that everyone else had been taken, and she wondered what she should do when the game started, forcing her to make a dash to keep herself from being pelted with rogue paintballs.
At first she tried to just run around the field, but the gun made that quite hard. And with no partner, she couldn't shoot back. As she thought about just randomly shooting people, she noticed riley making a run...and then pointing her paint gun at her. She had about 3 seconds to turn before she was sent to the ground, her back plastered in paint....And damn, did it HURT
What in jacks name did she do?!! she hadn't even shot anyone yet!!
Determined to do something about this, Astra got to her feet and turned around trying to locate her gun, only to be shot to the ground again by riley. This time, she was knocked unconscious.
If she had been awake, she may have started sobbing about now.
((sorry dudes, I can't jump into the game cause I can't make many posts during the day BD; Good luck to everyone else though!))

"Yeah man hit me with your best shot," Bul grinned and turned to shoot his friend but watched as he pulled the trigger nearly at point blank. The kickback made the half beast laugh tauntingly-
"Laaaame!" he teased and reared his weapon up ((at this point assuming he got reloaded)) and started running about. The next shot he fired missed though. "Man these things are off..."
Sure they were.

He laughed as Bul's shot whizzed past harmlessly over his shoulder. "Right, so we don't just suck at aiming then?" He'd like to believe that, really he would, but considering there were others around them making shots, he didn't think it was likely.
Maybe it just took some getting used to? He shot again, aiming for Bul as he strifed sideways, and once more missed. He wasn't willing to believe he simply sucked at aiming, but he was willing to buy that there was a steep learning curve on new weapons, and he simply hadn't mastered it yet.

As Riley came sauntering back towards his cart, Christof quickly ducked, his eyes wide. Did she see the shot? Was he in trouble? It had been an accident! And then that... that... stupid Dragon had to go in all hugging his Mistress and ... what did Malodore think? He should tell Malodore about it, definitely. Thoughts jumping over one another to try to get out of the way, he finally thought to glance up to see if she had arrived, a final quieter, more timid thought bubbling up to her, Are... you alright, Mistress? There was a touch of pain to the mental voice, and judging by the patchwork's face, it was thanks to the broken nose her paintball had given him. It was whistling as he breathed.
