I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: The Mall Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Nothing. Too upset, to sing. █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║
The petite Columbian cursed under her breath when her ears picked up that Leo was indeed not with the telekinetic…She hoped, that she hadn't seen what she'd thought she'd saw...Her teeth ground together for a moment, lips pressed together. Isabella was growing quite sure that Leonardo was going to hate her—If he didn’t already. He hadn’t been under her care very long, but already he’d had most of his leg chewed off by a mechanical shark… As well as his hand. And now, he was chained to a wall in some human idea of fair holding. The fact that their attackers had been ‘Exceedingly Violent’, Aurelie’s words, not her own, made her stomach clench in apprehension.
After hearing Aurelie speak, it was only a matter of time before she found the blond girl… Her voice echoed through the halls, leading Isabella straight to her—As if someone had drawn a line and demanded that she follow. Hearing that the locks on the cells were electronic she nodded her head slowly. That shouldn’t be a problem. Most electronic locks had a release that ran on a specific radio frequency… Hopefully this mall was updated enough that they didn’t still run on infrared. She would hate to have to backtrack and hunt for a different way to spring them…
She focused, and listened to the different things in the air—Able to hear nearly everything going on in the mall for a moment…Though it was all mostly white noise. So many footsteps, sneakers on the floor—So many voices shouting all at once. If she wasn’t mistaken she definitely heard something akin to…A transformer going off. It sounded almost like when Raine’s powers activated enough to be seen…
Narrowing her focus, she heard the computers humming… The alarms transmitting, and then finally, the tiny thread she was looking for…~It’ll be fine Aurelie. I’ll have you out in a second~
She walked towards the north east side of the area, and aware that the camera’s were still out—She didn’t bother destroying it like she normally would have. Following the thread in the air that led to the holding cell, she opened the door with the keys she’d taken off of the guard that she’d hoodwinked into letting her inside. Seeing Aurelie behind bars she sighed at the mark on her face…An intense distaste rising in her stomach at what had taken place here. “Are you all right?”
Her head tilted to the left just slightly, however sharply—The way a hawk did, when it was listening harder for it’s prey. It was Leonardo…Too late for sitting tight? Well… She couldn’t blame him for wanting to escape the chains he was being held in…But she hoped he didn’t get into any trouble he couldn’t handle without them… Consequently, she also heard him taunting his jailer.
“Mierda…”, she swore indelicately under her breath—Once again following the frequency…It would take her a moment to be able to memorize it exactly, and read it properly…Everytime she got distracted, she had to start over.
Hearing Leonardo arrive, moments before he’d revealed himself... She unintentionally stopped following the signal to the electronic lock to look at him…Call her paranoid, but after Halloweentown, she wanted to see with her own two eyes that he hadn’t done something exceedingly…Exceedingly stupid, however valiant. That all his limbs were still attached. Her sharp emerald eyes gave him a once over, much the same way she’d done outside the music room… And then returned to her task. She waved off his words, her auburn head shaking slightly in dismissal of the explanation…“Don’t apologize for breaking yourself out, and saving me the trouble. You’re safe, that’s all I care about.”
“But—I’m still caught between wanting to kiss or kill you pair for this fiasco...”, she warned them both, a layer of teasing hidden underneath the harder—More serious tones of the Alpha leader.
“Honestly though. Give me some credit…Electronic locks either need a key, a code, or a remote trigger to release… The signal used to do that is a radio frequency…”
She let them fill in the blanks as her hand ran over the lock-- Her eyes closing a moment…Following the frequency that kept it locked. She trusted Leonardo to watch her back for a moment. This particular lock was up to date, and was indeed set up for remote release…All she had to do was change what signal was being sent to it, so that when it hit the receiver, it gave the lock a separate command…All the while mirroring the original command so there wouldn’t be an interruption. The system itself would never know anything had changed, because she would realign the frequency the moment Aurelie was freed. The red light on the lock turned green and the songstress completely muffled a loud noise that signaled the cell gate was opening. “Out—Out out, come on, amor…”
She let the cell gate close, and then skillfully reset the signal… It would appear to the guards that Aurelie had pulled a Houdini… Keeping the keys from the holding area door, she stuffed them in the back pocket of her denim skirt—Turning to the other cell that held the Aquatic mutant. “Hey niño… I’ll have you out in a moment.”
Isabella was silent as she tricked the system once more, eyes closed in concentration. It was desperately tricky to do—And she’d certainly lucked out with the particular kind of electronic lock used…But it was standard for places like malls and low level security stations. Once the Aquatic boy was freed, she nodded her head towards the door—“Let’s go.”
She locked the door behind them, and proceeded directly across the hall into what looked like a terminal room. Bella pulled a small, non-descript compact out of her front pocket and pressed the device onto the nearest one, and she breathed out slowly as it lit up blue. It was a scrambling device from Forge with a remote two way transmitter that would allow him to edit and botch all of the feed since Aurelie and Leonardo first entered the mall. It would be as if they’d never been there in the first place… As far as the mall was concerned. She’d stopped the camera’s from working upon entering the guard station…But now it was up to Forge to erase the proof that had already been recorded.
“Stay close, and call me Siren until we get out of here. I disabled the camera’s…But the less information we leave behind, the better.”
Isa threw her powers out before leaving the terminal room, checking to make sure that there were no guards… Satisfied that the coast was clear, she led the trio out and around the corner, checking the maps that Forge had downloaded into her comm every so often. There hadn’t been time to memorize them like she normally would have. “Hopefully the get away will be as smooth as it was getting in.”
“But don’t count on it.”
There was only one way in, and one way out of the guard station… And that was the way she came. Any other exit would set off alarms she wasn’t a hundred percent sure she could keep from tripping. Use of the emergency door would alert both the police station and the fire department… And the Police were already on their way.
Passing a coat rack, there was a white T-shirt hanging there with a small logo on it—She picked it up and tossed it to Leonardo. “You’ll be less conspicuous if you aren’t shirtless.”
It was a fools hope, to think that would help…But Bella tried to keep optimistic.
Her sure footsteps never stopped, carrying her through all the way to the double doors she’d entered… Opening one, she peeked out…Shocked at what she saw. The line of guards that had previously blocked civilians from entering the guard station…It was replaced with a thriving, mass of shouting, screaming people that had turned a scene into a riot…A real riot. Everyone was fighting…Throwing things through storefront windows.
And not all of the people fighting were strictly speaking, human. The transformer going off sound that she had heard earlier was really an lightening bug mutant that was sending out warning shocks towards humans that got too close. There was a man that had lifted a vending machine, high over his head—And threw it towards a group of humans… Isabella didn’t hesitate and threw her hand out, sending a screaming sonic wave towards the unit, nearly splitting it in half as she knocked it off course and harmlessly into a hallway.
There was a spiky haired female mutant with some kind of…Spider-esque ability who kept pinning shoppers to walls with some kind of webbing… Cackling and laughing. Announcing that they weren’t going to take the ‘Flat Scan Subjugation’ any longer. That this was war—This was the end.
Siren brought her comm to her lips, trigged to Cyclops frequency without thinking. “Where is my back up, Scott? Things have gone from bad to worse—It’s an all out war in the mall. The police are coming, and we don’t want to be here when they get here… There’s no way they’ll be able to handle this on their own. There are a lot of mutants here that are mightily pissed off… And if something isn’t done soon, there’s going to be a lot… A lot more blood than there already is.”
“I can’t control them all.”
She cut her comm then, in favor of gesturing the others to follow her once more---Moving away from the guard station, lest they be taken for one of the guards… One of which, she saw laying face down on the floor towards the fountain.
He wasn’t breathing. She could hear no heart beat.
“Stay close. We’ll have to pick and choose our battles until the others get here… But we can’t just walk away.”
A man started marching towards them with a broken bottle, swearing and angry—Swinging it wildly. Human or Mutant—Isabella didn’t know, but her voice was cold as ice when she issued her command. “Sleep.”
Just as the guard had in the station, he dropped to the ground in a heap—Instantly snoring.
“Incapacitate, only. No lethal action, unless I give the order.”

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Location: Heading Towards the Mall Group: Alpha's Temperament: Hurried ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Rogue entered the garage with Wolverine and Gambit in tow. Her footsteps were hurried, Scott’s last comm transmission ringing in her ears. He’d sounded beyond worried…Of course he was, where the Stone girl was concerned. She was the last Stone left out of the original three…And she wouldn’t exaggerate. But more than that, the situation at the mall was a power keg, just ready to explode. Infact, it was already exploding. “Alpha’s! Listen up!”, she drawled quickly as she marched towards them, careful to keep any panic clear from her face— “We need to ship out immediately… I’ll explain on the way.” Rogue slid into the driver’s seat of one of the vans, Wolverine and Gambit getting into the others. She waited for all the seats to be filled, but was already tearing out of the garage before the last buckle clicked. Hitting a few buttons on the console, she linked the three vans together and her voice came from the speakers in all three. “Everyone hush up for a moment…”
“A nasty riot is going down at the mall. It started with some…Small misunderstanding, but since then…It’s spun out of control. Isabella left awhile ago, ahead of us, to see if this was something we could deal with quietly…But as it turns out, we can’t. We’re going into this plain clothes because the police may eventually be involved… We are getting involved, because as X-Men we seek to prevent a loss of life…Siren has communicated that she does not believe this is something the police can handle on their own.”
“Should we run into any of them… We are all on a school sanctioned field trip for deserving students over spring break. This would be a much more difficult story to sell, if we were all in uniform and packing weapons… Our goal is to non-lethally neutralize threats and keep the populace from hurting one another….Whether you have to talk them down, or use your powers, or other skills to subdue them…That is our goal. “ Rogue paused, letting her words sink in—Before continuing, her eyes still glued to the road. “We’ll be entering the mall from the Sears entrance. According to Forge, it is currently the safest…The police have still not arrived, so prepare yourselves for a very…Intense scene. Any questions?”▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Upon arriving to the mall-- There were people streaming out of the exits, cars smashing into each other as they tried to get away from the mob scene. Traffic was at a complete standstill in every exit lane...They were only able to get so close, without losing their escape route. They parked at the nearly empty movie theater across from the Sears Entrance...They'd have to cross a small street to get to where they needed to be. "Stay as close to the group as you can...Under no circumstances are you to go off on your own.", Rogue ordered, tugging on the edges of her gloves near her wrists, making sure that they were properly in place as she locked the doors to the van, stuffing the keys in her pocket, zipping it, where they would be safe. "Make sure your comm links are all set to the right frequency-- Only use them, if absolutely necessary. Keep them on you at all times...They have a tracking module in them that we can use to find you, if you do lose your way."

Omega, Location: Danger Room Violence, music to my ears.
"Thanks for that." he said to the girl with black eyes (Lorelle) as she mentioned he missed one. The sound of a gunshot erupting beside him initially made him assume someone was taking shots at him. Looks like he had a teammate that he could potentially rely on.
"Name's Roland." he said to her, noting her eyes. Likely her power was active, whatever that may be Roland did not know. He moved forward towards a hall to his left, getting himself behind cover. He raised his head out to see if anyone was coming. Another two holograms were on their way down, likely to check out the gunshots from before. Impressive, adaptive programming he noted, perhaps for tonight's festivities he would get something with the level of intelligence these seemed to present. No matter, Roland held the shotgun with a good grip as he spun around the wall, moving like lightning as he hit one hologram with the pommel of his face and then struck him across the temple with his shotgun as he leveled it to the head of the other hologram. By the time the first hologram had hit the floor, the bark of his weapon echoed in the hall as both dissipated before him. Taking a deep breath, he continued forward with a wary caution.
"In a building to everyone's 9 o'clock, one of the new bloods is here with me." he said in his comm, intending to start the coordination of tactics, "Any need for some suppressive fire just let us know, we can lay some down through the windows." Roland wasn't one to be a team type, but if anything he at the least needed to see what the rest of the group was capable of. He then realized he had forgotten to chamber the next round. Ejecting the spent shell, Roland continued down slowly, ready to react when something came his way.

Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє Agηèȿ My hearts longs for some conversation, then peace! ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ The French girl nodded and smiled at Eli. "That is an interesting power. I hope I can see it in action during this escapade, Eli." She could tell Eli didn't want to talk anymore. Thus, Alex didn't want to push her luck and get people to dislike her right off the bat. That will have to wait until the pranks begin. Then, they can start not liking me. A small smirk appeared as devious ideas went through her brain. However, the voice of the girl(Lexi) caused the smirk to go away and a smile to take its' place. "I see. Well, when times are better, I hope you will have the time to teach me how to dye my hair like that." The eighteen-year old knew this was no time for hair care tips. Thus, she left that topic at that.
A small grin formed when she found out the girl's(Lexi's) name. "It is funny how our first name is the same, except for one letter." Yet, that one letter made all the difference. While Alex's name was pronounced like her name had Sandra in it, Lexi's name would be pronounced like it had a Zandra in it. It is fascinating how one letter makes all the difference, but I shouldn't be thinking about such things right now.
Making sure none of her senses were still enhanced, the girl relaxed against the seat and adjusted her hat. In preparation for the van moving, Alex made sure her seatbelt was fastened. Wonder when we will...Speak of the devil. A voice loudly told everyone to listen up. Immediately, the French girl recognized the voice as belonging to Rogue. Her hands gripped her hat tightly as the van started to move. She could feel nerves starting to get to her as her sandal covered feet rubbed each other. This isn't the time to be nervous! I got to concentrate on the task at hand!
As she tried to calm her nerves, Rogue had started to explain what their mission entailed. It seemed a riot had started up at the mall. A riot they were post to stop so others didn't get hurt. I just hope we are able to do this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They arrived at the mall and felt shocked at all the chaos across the street. She had never seen a riot before, let alone one up close like this. Admittedly, it made her feel edgy as Rogue explained to them the importance of staying close and the comms. At the mentioning of the comms, Alex made sure it was at the right frequency. I guess time to get rolling...Though, not sure if my powers could take down anyone. But, I'll find some way to be useful. They can count on it. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into the garage, then mall Till our brains intertwine with Eli, Lexi, and other alphas, then all alphas "
Omega - Danger Room - You'll Shoot Your Eye Out  Maddy shrugged at Kerrigan as the whole grouped began to filter into the Danger Room. It didn't matter too much to her if the team burned some time before they got a call-- she was fully expecting one. Still, Maddy listened to the game explained, knowing full well that she could not shoot a gun to save her life. The last only gun she had shot was a BB gun in an old friend's yard back in Boston. It was the day after Christmas and he had gotten it from an uncle. Cans did not stand a chance against his aim. She could not hit anything but the fence behind them. Maddy took a good deal of teasing because of that. Unfortunately, that boy turned out to be incredibly anti-mutant. His whole family was. She didn't see him much after puberty hit. Maddy lifted a handgun off the table, shaking off the last bit of nostalgia. She picked it up as if it were a dead mongoose, using only two fingers. The girl, of, course, understood it was a game, so she would play along. It didn't matter too much how this went so long as she didn't look like a complete fool. She set that down and grabbed one of the smaller submachine guns, whose weight still surprised her. Shooting began before she even knew what was happening, and Maddy sprinted to hide in the door frame of the closest building. She stuck her head out only to listen to Solaris' further, shouted explanation. When the other was done, the girl found herself having kicked in the door of that building and racing up the stairs, taking the flight in huge bounds. It was just natural for her to try and get higher up, especially in a terrain like this. Then, just near the top of the building, her body swung right, her finger just tightening on the trigger as shots went everywhere. One of the bots, the simulated enemies, had just been crouched in a corner, though it didn't even seem to react to her. The girls heart still was trying to escape her chest when the thing disappeared with an apparent kill shot. Without catching her breath, she moved on, peaking out the door to the roof. She could hear shots being fired all over the place, and Roland's muffled voice coming over the com system. Arrow used to call those people sorts of people "try-hards." It made her laugh. She missed Arrow. She missed having another real archer around on the team. She couldn't remember if Antonio had used a bow or not. She thought he just gave people a look of disdain or a quiet stare or something to disable them. Maddy wanted to smack herself for getting so nostalgic as she did an awkward, crouched run across the rooftops. Her feet hit the ground with the softest padding noise. One more bot keeled with his rifle on the edge of the roof, looked down at the street through its sights. Psyche came behind it, and, carrying the gun in her left hand haphazardly, one large psi-blade formed in her right hand. She swung it like a sword, down and through the thing's back. These things seemed incredible unobservant or just completely unaware. Trying not to think twice about it, and, from that same position, she could look down at the street where she saw shots being fired at a large group of hostiles moving towards the newer girl, supposedly named " Covet". She saw two of them being dropped initially, but still the group moved towards her. Maddy grabbed her gun again, pointing it down at the street. A barrage of bullets came, flailing all over the place. She knew she was absolutely terrible. She thought she dropped one just by luck, but the girl had attracted way too much attention to be safe. The street crew, along with several in windows of buildings across now began shooting in her direction. Trying to remind herself that it was just a game and not some serious training session with the Wolverine, the girl swapped out the gun for the more reliable bow on her back. Shots still flying, she tried to hide behind the roof's smaller safety wall. She popped up, just for a moment, but was met with a shot grazing across her arm. It got her a good look, but the girl could see her "life's" percentage drop a bit on her com. "Oh, you are so freaking dead, it's not even funny you bloody pissah," she cursed as a psi-arrow formed in her hand with the slightest thought. She racked it, pulled the string back in a flash, and let loose the thing in a second at the enemy on the ground she deemed responsible. Like she knew it would, that gun caused her more problems than it solved. Let's go downtown and talk to the modern kids./ They will eat right out of your hand/ using great big words that they don't understand.
 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠Garage to Mall. Eli shrugged his shoulders at Lexi's statement and simply nodded to Alex's statement. The wall that surrounded Eli's social life would be a tough one to break. For some reason though, there were so far only a couple that were able to hurdle the wall so easily. Two of which were no longer at the academy, and Leo was nowhere to be found.
Soon after Rogue rushed into the room and piled everyone into vans. So much for a mustang. The situation seemed intense, and Eli wast geting a little nervous. His first real mission with AX. His hands started shaking, and he was thankful that he sat in shotgun. He was able to hide his nervousness easily; he didn't have to sit next to anyone, or look anyone in the eyes.
Eli let out a small sigh, and propped his elbow on the window and rested his chin on his hand, watching the scene go by as they went off to the mall.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eli's eyes widened at the scene before them as they approached. So much violence. And all for what? Stupid anti-mutant propaganda? It irked Eli; he wanted to jump into action. He began to hold his breath and breathe slowly through his nose, calming himself and keeping his head on straight.
Acknowledging Rogue's orders, Eli moved his comm link from his back pocket to his side pocket, making it an easier access point. "These things are EMP proof, right?" Eli asked her, as he stepped out and waited for the others to get ready to move out too. Eli was thinking, if he could, he'd be able to wipe out electronic equipment in the area, or in a more controlled area if he could identify the electronic threats.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I got my head checked, it wasn't easy, but nothing is. OOC ↠
Omega/ Danger Room/ Yippie-Ki-yayJacen had his arms crossed behind his back, swaying back and forth as Narcissa gave subtle greetings to the Omegas. He may have been an older Omega or whatever, but Cissa was still the only mutant he’d ever been afraid of. He wouldn’t let it show (Nowadays at least. Back on Muir was a completely different story,) but he knew it was a good idea to have a healthy dose of fear for someone who could microwave you at will. But, he still wouldn’t let it show. He was a warrior, she was his leader, and he followed her orders without question. Unless of course he was legitimately confused. Which was often. So really he followed her with limited question. Yea. The sight of the city rising made him grin. The Danger Room’s complexities had always fascinated him, but he wasn’t nearly smart enough with computers to comprehend how it worked. “Meh.” Jacen said lightly, watching as Kerrigan explained they’d be playing with toy guns. He didn’t like using guns in the field, but he’d played Laser tag since coming to the states and had had a good enough time. He just picked up the first gun he saw, some pistol-looking thing he couldn’t name on his life, and looked out over the desolate cityscape. The simulated enemies appeared and multiplied, assuring plenty of targets. Jacen took cover as the ‘bots’ started firing, tuck-n-rolling behind an outcrop of rubble as lasers fired. “Hey Rave, What’s Kraken?” He quipped, calling out to his comrade across the trash-littered street. He popped his head out from behind the rubble before drawing it back in a flash, a bolt of green soaring past his head. With a breath, he flipped over his protection, firing at the militarily-dressed figures he’d spotted before. A total of 37 rapidly-fired shots to dust the two of them. He hoped there wasn’t limited ammo on their guns. Jacen huddled next to Christian and his over-turned dumpster. “Oh. Didn’t see you here.” He said, shrugging his apologies and tilting his eyebrows up in a surprised sort of greeting. Roland’s announcement came over his comm. and managed to make Jacen feel old. Roland seemed like he’d been a newbie a day ago, but, as Jacen often found, time-flies when you’re stuck in a Nightmare world. “So you enjoy guns.” Jacen said, matter-o-factly, “Do you have any ideas on how to ‘survive’?” He fired at a bot coming up to them while saying this, missing multiple times before managing to hit it’s trigger arm. The thing still came at them, though unable to shoot. Jacen kept firing, somehow managing to miss at point Blank range before frowning, tossing the gun into the air, grabbing the barrel, and clubbing the bot in the face with the butt of the gun.
Alphas, the winning team. Mobbing out to Sears. Dimitri's eyes widened a bit in suprise when Tara took his hand, being more attractive to her when she gave him a wink to him. He enjoyed their walk towards the garage and his hand interlaced with hers. Dimitri took a quick glance towards her out of the corner out of his eye, telling himself in his mind that they could be a good couple..or ******** buddies. The two reached the garage where a few Alpha members were already there. Shotgun was out of the question so he had to pick a seat in the back. Some that were there didn't know for sure what was going on and others were making small talk to each other. Two people that he noticed didn't arrive yet were his leader and his roomate. Slack was given to Leo, since he was arriving with someone else. As for Bella, he wondered as well as Bianca and others.
"Heh Heh yeah you're right. Even trouble finds us at the mansion. Maybe if we go look for trouble ourselves we'll have peace for a while." he laughed.
The Playboy wasn't serious, but if they couldn't even catch a break at their own home, where could they go without the mutant signal flashing in the sky? The gravity of this situation increased when Rogue, Wolverine and Gambit entered the garage. It also meant that they were going to have some fun..sort of. Logan and Gambit went into other vans while Rogue took the Alphas on a joy ride. She explained that Isabella actually got a head start towards their destination, the mall.
"Okay, so Isabella is safe." he told himself in his head. "But where's leo?...Maybe he missed the message...or he's out somewhere. If it's the mall, then he picked a bad day."
No uniforms were necessary; even if so, Dimitri didn't have one. The clothes on their back were all that they had. From the options that Rogue gave them when it came to calming down the crowd at the mall, Dimitri could see himself being good at two of those options. He could try to smooth talk any females that were there to not waste their time and head out before the police arrived. His martial arts background of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would probably be his main weapon to lower the threat bar; depending on the violence. When they finally got there Dimitri was more than convinced that his martial arts would have to be his main weapon. Drivers were crashing into each other trying to escape as if it was the end of the world forcing the group to park and head into Sears.
"Do they have tennis shoes?" he joked. "What about Work Boots, or Heels? Anything is better than sandals in this situation."
Dimitri didn't agree with groups, but his powers were too dangerous in this situation so he nodded to Rouge when she talked about sticking as a group.
"Gotcha!" he told Rogue as he was setting his communication device to the correct channel.
"Ready to party?" he asked Tara with a grin.
Alpha: Location - Mall, Why are people so mean?|693|▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Bianca was somewhat pleased Reggie was willing to put enough trust in her to follow her to the garage without question. It never occurred to her that really the girl had no choice. Letting her green eyes stare at Gideon with slight concern her worry only seemed to grow when she didn't receive an answer from him immediately. Lips parted slowly she was about to say something else when Rogue walked in followed closely by Wolverine and Gambit. Wow things must have been a lot worse than Bianca originally thought if they were bringing in the big guns so to speak. Giving Rogue her full attention as the brunette told them all to listen then said they needed to ship out immediately. Biting her bottom lip just soft enough to not draw blood her hands fidgeted around with each other. Following Rogue's lead she piled into the back of the van drove by Wolverine and buckled her seatbelt and sat still and quietly. As Rogue mentioned everyone hushing Bianca listened attentively for what exactly was going on. Hearing about the riot did nothing to ease her fears though she let out a small sigh of relief as it was mentioned Bella went ahead to try and do things quietly. Bianca was confident enough in Bella's skills that she was sure she was fine. She had the pleasure of witnessing her skills first hand back in catalina though it wasn't on the best of circumstances. Taking a brief look around she was curious which van Reggie had gotten in for a few brief moments before returning her attention to Rogue's voice. The mission itself sounded pretty straightforward and Bianca was a little anxious to get there and get everything over with as quickly as possible. Then maybe they could get back to the school and go back to enjoying their break. As Rogue asked for any questions Bianca couldn't really think of a question to ask considering everything she was curious about had been answered. The scene upon arriving at sears was a little shocking and Bianca stepped out of the van with a little surprise registering on her face. She had never seen a riot on this scale before and Bianca couldn't help but have her worry flair up yet again. Bella was somewhere in all of this? That wasn't good at all. Things seemed to be even worse once she was actually inside the mall and Bianca took a quick look around to make sure she didn't spot any familiar faces in the crowd. Not spotting any Bianca turned towards nodding to her commands then setting her comm to the right channel asked a question that she was curious about. "What is the plan for meeting up with Bella?" Bianca just naturally assumed that Rogue was the acting leader for the mission considering she had arrived and then started giving out orders. Frankly Bianca had no problems following the much more experienced mutant's lead. Turning away as she waited for her question to be answered Bianca looked around for the perfect group to help. Her eyes instantly narrowed in on a man with a gun waving it around carelessly with children nearby. Moving in an instant she moved in front of the kids and sent a small beam towards the gun in the man's hand. Seeing the darkness flying towards him the man panicked and turned the gun on Bianca and was able to get off a shot before it was knocked out of his hands. The bullet cut through the air and managed to barely graze her arm leaving a small cut that instantly bleed. "Ow." Wincing in pain Bianca instinctively drew the nearby darkness to her and sunk to her knees for a few seconds with a meek expression on her face as she held her arm. As the pain subsided a little Bianca rose to her feet and looked at the man with darker eyes than before giving him a dirty look. The effect was immediate and he scrambled away in fear shouting something about her being some kind of demon. Well that was one down. Thousands to go.
♬ Team: Alpha xxxx♬ Mutation: Telekineticxxxx♬ Location: Test Post Aurelie had faith that Bella would get them out of the mess they were in, so she waited patiently until two people showed up outside of her cell. She nodded at Leo's recognition, and might have made a smart-alec remark for comic relief if the situation weren't so stressed. “How'd you get out? Let's just implement that to these cells.”
It didn't take long for Bella to release them; and the telekinetic sighed in relief as the door swung open. Without hesitation, she darted out of the cell. 'You'll get no arguments out of me, Siren.” She said with a smile, grateful that she wasn't in some dingy little electric box... waiting like a sitting duck for someone to return and try and beat the hell out of her.
Following Bella out of the security station, Aurelie made not a peep, but glanced over Leo and Aquaboy, making sure that they were both okay. Leo was shirtless... Aquaboy's gills were once again hidden by his red turtleneck. Granted, she'd have killed for a compact of coverup and a mirror for herself right now... but that couldn't be helped. “Agreed” Aurelie stated with a nod.
Nothing would ever be this easy, so when Isabella said for them not to count on an easy exit, Aurelie didn't disagree. Trouble was brewing... it just hadn't started to boil yet. Aurelie lifted a Yankees hat off of a rack, placing it on her head in hopes of no one recognizing the blond hair if it was covered.
They rounded a few corners, only to be stopped by a riot.. Telekinetically, she removed the woman from being webbed to the wall, placing her down on the ground. She did the same with the others, making her power use discreet so that she'd not piss off the spiderwoman.
It was then that Bella started talking about backup to the comm, and Aurelie sorely hoped they'd get there soon.
There were people down, and the blond had to wonder if they were just unconscious... or worse. But she bit her lip as she watched the riot grow. Were they fighting the humans, or the mutants? Because both were equally bad.
One human had a knife, and was swinging it around, ready to jab anyone who came too close... Aurelie ripped the blade from his hands, and flicked it into a wall, too high for him to reach. “This is ridiculous.” She muttered with a slight shake of her head.
All of this, because a few humans had decided to be bullies.
ℜ@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεℊα- Did I mention I shoot lasers? He didn't have to wait long for Solaris to elaborate on the previous rules, good thing he had stayed nearby because it seemed the enemies hadn't wandered this far up yet so it was still relatively safe behind his wall. Strapping his gun to his side with one of his many belts, Leion was about to start a laser light show as Kraken made a joke from across the street causing Leion to stop for a moment to laugh at how cheesy it was. "Well I was about to show these goons how to party, but I forgot my techno music" he had decided to throw something equally cheesy right back as he leaned out from behind his cover to fire a few bursts of energy at some of the programs attempting to get the drop on him. Luckily their powers still worked on the holographic enemies or he'd be shooting away with that gun and probably missing the enemy. He wasn't sure how many enemies there were all he knew was he wanted a vantage point, "So which buildings are not swarming with A.I. trying to get a vantage point? he called over the comm as he made a small oval to cover his crouching body as he moved to another area of cover. While they could 'feel' the shots from the opposing laser guns, they had no substance so blocking them did not cause Leion the same amount of strain as say a horde of demons body slamming his energy, so he could sustain it longer. Though if he relied too heavily on his energy he would find himself tired out before long. Leion + James ~ Evans
══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇═Flintlock═⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ Location: Garage, then to Mall Power: Molecular Mimicry Alright, some action! ══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇═Reggie Lambchild═⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ ══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══⋇══ Reggie sighed when Lexi said she didn't know, "Seems like no one does." She looked over when Rogue hurried into the Garage, thinking to herself, But it looks like we'r about to find out. She obeyed without question as they were all piled into the vans. She buckled her seat belt like a good little child and waited for instructions. SHe didn't have to wait long, soon Rogue's voice came over the speakers, and Reggie sat back and listened to the situation. The thought of a mob had her wondering what the small "misunderstanding" had been. How could something small cause a mob? Then she thought about how tiny sparks could create wildfires, and she understood.
She supposed it was a good thing that the X-men were getting into this. Average humans couldn't deal with this by themselves without severely hurting people. She smirked, they kinda were on a high school field trip, a very dangerous one. She checked her com-link and remained silent during the ride.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they got to the mall, she jumped out of the van and bounced slightly on her toes, ready to go do what she had to do. She watched the chaos around the mall, car crashing and people screaming. She saw a car fire break out and thought that someone with water abilities should go put it out. She glanced at the movie theater behind them, smirking to herself, Maybe after the mission, I can catch a flick. She turned back, seeing a flicker of movement in the car that had caught fire. Her face paled even more and she glanced at the group. The car wasn't too far away, and she could find them again in no time. She rushed over to the car and found a young man trapped in the front seat. There was a teen her own age in the seat next to him. The door was crumpled inward, jammed shut. The man pounded the door, but couldn't escape. Reggie put her hands to the door and let the steel flow up her arm. After her hands were turned to metal, she dug her fingers into the door, bending and gripping the metal. As the steel flowed up her arm, she grew strong and began to pull the door away, steel muscles straining in effort. The heat from the fire had her face sweating and she fought the urge to wipe it away. After a few moments, the door came away with a earsplitting SCREECH The man and girl immediately climbed out, the man shoving Reggie out of the way in fear. Reggie grimaced, "Yeah, you'r welcome." The girl looked at her and nodded, then rushed after the guy. Reggie sighed and brushed at her arms, trying to get the steel to go away. She looked at the car, then her eyes widened, Uh oh! She ran as far away as possible, knocked to her knees by the explosion. She staggered up, unharmed, and headed back towards the other mutants.

Omega: Danger Room -- Simulation, go! There were a lot of questions flying around as soon as the simulation started, Kerrigan not really having to answer them as different members of the group offered their opinion on things. Cissa was staying out of things for the most part, but she was glad that the blonde took over answering some of the other Omegas' questions. After all, as soon as the redhead opened her mouth to say something, a shot struck the wall just to the left of her head, leaving a smoking hole. Kerrigan's military background definitely shown through as she took aim with her gun, firing off a single shot to cause the AI to duck behind the ledge of the building above, the Omega using the moment to regain some cover and see what was going on with the rest of the team. Of course, it was no surprise that their leader dispatched of one of the AI with ease, protecting Aren in the process. Some were on the rooftops, others were offering some suppressive fire for the rest of them. It was nice to see some of them acting together, especially when they had so many new members in their midst. It would do them all some good to get to know each other on the battlefield - that kind of information could be invaluable when they got into a real combat situation. Kerrigan pivoted around, firing off three shots in quick succession. All three hit the approaching AI in the face, the man falling backwards before disintegrating. Her attention turned to some other shots being fired to see Kraken firing point blank at a bot, eventually giving up on shooting and using the gun asa club instead. It at least did the trick, though it might behoove him to learn how to shoot at some point. In the modern world, it was a skill that everyone on their team ought to have in some capacity. But that was a different discussion for a different day. Another shot hit the wall behind her, Kerrigan taking off at a sprint into an alleyway just to her left. Others had the right idea - get to a better vantage point and out of the streets, which were a virtual gauntlet at the moment. A holster hung around her waist, the redhead shoving the gun into it as she leapt onto a dumpster, immediately pushing off and propelling herself to grab a low rung of a fire escape off the ground. " I'll take some of that cover fire down here, Pala-," she called into her comma, grunting as she managed to pull herself up to finally get her foot onto a lower rung, her foot slipping as a laser struck the side of the fire escape. Her armor made a loud clang as her whole body slipped down two or three rungs, her feet dangling as she managed to grab onto a rung, frantically twisting around to get a grip with her other hand. " NOW," she inadvertently yelled into the comm, probably sounding more frantic than she meant to. Once she had a better grip, the redhead released one hand so she was clutching the fire escape with one hand, legs still dangling, as she unsheltered the pistol and took aim at a window where one bot was shooting from. She managed to hit him at least once, as he quickly ducked back inside as Kerrigan waited for that cover fire - her helmet kept her strained facial expression from view. ((OOC: Apologies for the wait!))

Omega. Danger Room: Trying to stay alive. Note to self...learn how to use firearms. So Megan had some issues in the fact that this was more or less the first time she had ever touched a firearm. As her team began to engage the faceless programs she sort of sat behind her cover and went over her issues with this weapon. Powers were in but she was bringing a knife to a gun fight so it wasn’t likely she was going to be able to get close enough to inflict any damage to them which left the gun. So now that she knew she had issues what was she going to do about it? Well the main thing for this mission was to survive so in that case she was going to do what she needed to do to survive. The first thing was first she had to get out of the open. She eyed the wall behind her and got an idea. ”Uuummm...” She slung the weapon over a shoulder and started digging all while praying that the walls and ground would react like normal materials. They did and within the space of a few seconds Megan had a nice hole dug into the wall and had unintentionally taken out two of the faceless AI’s. As she was digging they had made the error of jumping behind her and both had taken chunks of the wall to the face. Since she was rushing Megan was simply heaving the chunks behind her and had hit them in the middle of the face and on a normal person that blow would have driven their noses up into their skulls and thus would have been fatal. Megan never noticed since she was preoccupied with getting out of that stretch and into a place where she wasn’t going to get surrounded. The inside of the building she landed herself in appeared to be a shop of some kind. Clothing perhaps by the looks of it and it was blissfully empty for now. Checking her comm. she noted she was still sitting at one hundred percent. She looked around and slipped further into the building and away from the hole she had dug and clicked it hearing people chime in on where they were. ”I’m in a store that was next to where we started.” She said and peeked out the window carefully as to not get noticed. The main street she was looking at was crawling with those faceless AI and so were the roofs. ”The main street is a death trap. Lots up on the roofs and on the streets. I’m going to check the back ally and if that’s clear try and find you all.” She made her way towards the back door and found it unlocked. Swallowing she cracked the door open and peeked out. The ally was clear as far as she could see. Slipping out Megan readied the gun and crept slowly towards the building that one of the others had said they were in. (Roland)

Omega, Location: Danger Room Laying down some cover fire
Roland got to a window and watched as the AI fired down volley after volley of rounds at the rest of the team. They seemed a little too trigger happy for Roland's taste, yet he still wanted to charge out at them. However, common sense dictated that now was not a good time to do so.
"My building appears to be clear at the moment Rave." he answered over his comm to his question, "Gonna run a sweep through to make sure."
Kerrigan called out for some support fire, he got an eye on her as she was climbing up a ladder. The strain at the end of her message was likely a strain of effort with the ladder rather than of fear, even so he didn't waste his time. "Roger that Knoxx, laying down shots now." He placed three rounds down towards a position that was firing at her. One of them clipped him, but unfortunately didn't take him down. He fell to the ground and got a wild shot off in Roland's direction. Ducking, he quickly checked his comm for his Damage Ratio, which thankfully was still good.
One of the new blood's was going to do some recon, fine by him. Right now it looked to a situation of holding up and than running and gunning. As much as he wanted, he realized that he needed to learn to shoot better.
And hey, what better way to learn than on the job?
