Jack didn't react, just kept starring out the window. He sighed and turned to Alex looking at her. Then,so fast, he pulled her close wrapping his arms around her burying his face against her hair.

Alex hugged him back and rubbing the back of his head, and she felt tears go down her cheeks,"Jack..whats wrong?"

Jack kissed her hard to shut her up. He didn't want her asking questions. It was better that way. He kissed her. Hard. Passionately.

Alex kissed him back and put her hands on his chest, she wondered what was wrong with him but right now she wanted to clam him down.'

Jack kissed her softly and pushed her back. "Go downstairs. I'm fine now, I promise."

Alex had dry tears on her face and she nodded, and looked at the ground,"I just wanted to help..if you don't need it fine I will leave." she walked away from heading to the door.

Jack grimaced and pulled her back. "Alex, don't feel like that." He scowled at her gently brushing her hair back. "I know, you want to help, and I love you for it, but you can't help with this." He sighed wrapping his arms around her waist. "Its something that happened a long time ago, and it brings back painful memories is all. Its nothing to do with you."

Katey watched as Alex came back downstairs. "he didn't tell you anything did he?" Katey sighed. "He won't anyway. Its best if we not speak of it. The pain of such an event. . .It has scared him so much."

Katey bit her lip. "A friend of mine is having a small get together with some lady friend's of ours. Perhaps you can join us. It'll give us the chance to introduce you."
