Claire stood up feeling a bit upset her memorise awalys did that to her along with the fact Noctis thought she would do the exact opposite she clamed she would to with Patches in her arms she said with her voice light “Don`t worry about it Noctis I understand... I better get going I still need to find a date for the dance” Claire turned to leave and begain walking away

Noctis felt like all this had been his fault. He hadn't even realised Claire was going to that. He was forcefully taught to do the basic Princely dancing, but... he never liked it. He bit his bottom lip, almost tempted to ask her out himself to spare her the trouble. But he didn't like dances. They were dreadful. And... who was he to prevent her from asking someone she actually likes. Could he just not stand the fact of her meeting someone else? His eyes narrowed a little as he disposed of such thoughts. This I-must-protect-her-from-who-knows-what thinking was preposterous."Uhm... alright. I'll see you around then." He muttered aloud. Not really taking heed to whether she heard it or not.

Jaclyn smiled and shook his hand. "I don't know. Look how many times we've already fought." The girl commented. She moved a little closer now that the other girl was gone. Cara crawled onto the man's lap. "Cara." The dog just grinned and sat there not getting off of his lap. "I think she likes you." Jaclyn joked. "I hope she isn't prettier than me."

Claire wasn`t going to go that really it was just an excuse to go. But she smiled as she recalled saying 'no promises I might elope in the middle of the night' to a friend a few weeks ago. So she said with laughter in her voice hopeing Noctis would understand this was a joke “No promises I might elope in the middle of the night.” and left

Noctis' pupils widened tenfold before he realised what'd she said was a joke. Hopefully. She couldn't possibly be thinking of running away to get married at such a young age. He pushed the thought away and returned his attention to Jaclyn, who he hadn't noticed had gotten closer."Hm..." He thought, stroking Cara with delicate fingers."She's a beautiful dog, but even this coat can't compete with your facial beauty." He reassured her.

Jaclyn let out a laugh. "Can't say much about our hair huh? It's the same color." Jaclyn told him as she flipped her hair back and looked into his eyes with her smile. Cara responded to the commented by wagging her tail. "She's my brothers dog. I just kidnap her some days when I get bored." Jaclyn told him about Cara's real owner.

Noctis' eyes slanted and he chuckled mildly, his pale eyes drifting back to the dog after Jaclyn had spoken. Direct eye contact always made him nervous."I love animals often like I'd love my own family. I had a cat once, and I just couldn't live without her. She was spoiled in terms of hugs and kisses when it came to me. I'd always pick her up on sight and lay kisses all over her head." He stroked Cara's glossy coat and felt the incline of a soft, smooth surface."So I take it Cara usually follows your brother around or does she just go about her own business?"

"She usually follows my brother around, but she also goes around the school when she wants to." The blond answered. "I want to get a kitten, but because I'm in school I'm waiting till I leave first." The girl answered the man. She pulled her shirt up and skirt down making little adjustments to her outfit so nothing was showing.

Noctis noted how she adjusted her attire. Not that it was an issue, if anything he was grateful. Then again, there was that sophisticated side of him, and then the side that had Incubus written all over it. So he was torn between being perverted and being polite on the matters of privacy. Anywho, at least he was able to contain it."Leaving seems like such a long distance away. And even then, I don't have anything to do with my life. Might as well just go back Home after this."

Jaclyn looked up. "You need to find something that interests you. Maybe find a girlfriend who is willing to pull you back by the ear if you take one step into leaving. There are plenty of jobs out there that you can do." Jaclyn told him. "At least you control your own future. I have no control over mine at the moment." Reminding him that he should be happy that he was free. The girl then leaned over to pet Cara. Her chest was easy to see when she did so.

Noctis had been listening, but as he replied, his concentration went far beyond him. Usually when he'd even dare to sneak a peek, which was usually rare for him to do, he wouldn't make it obvious. He'd usually just look from the corners of his eyes or something, but this time he was just simply looking at her cleavage as he said an answer off the top of his head."Uh... yeah. A girlfriend would be nice..." Was his reply. Though, if he wasn't so distracted he would've said something more like:"A relationship is something I don't think I have the knowledge or time for."

Jaclyn kept her leaning pose as she continued to pet Cara. "It's so easy to get into a relationship while in school. My brother is a professional and he doesn't have time to look for a girlfriend while he's working." Jaclyn commented to Noctis. "That's why I want to make a lot of friends now, that way one of them will introduce me to a friend or maybe ask me out." The girl told her friend.

"Uh... huh." He managed to mouth, half of his mind here and the other half there. He stared, transfixed, when some other part of him screamed: "You're losing your footing and you better get a grip before you fall... for her!" That snapped Noctis right out of his observations. Even if he wanted a girlfriend, it was horribly wrong to like Jaclyn within such a short moments notice. Then again... there was nothing either good or bad. He mentally slapped himself and paid more attention to the conversation."I'm not really a professional at anything, but I doubt any girl feels like cracking open this impassive shell I have sheltered around me."

Jaclyn looked up at him. Not really not really noticing that he was looking at her chest. She thought it was the top of her head. "Well didn't I crack through it?" She pointed out. She didn't want him to give up hope that he wouldn't find anyone who would like him. "Besides I'm sure once she gets to know you then she'll like you just as much as any friend."
