Kai returned setting his stuff down in the kitchen. he summoned elements scythe and set that down he put shadow and Fridays weapons back then grabbed the blade. "element where's your scythe I need to make an improvement on it. you'll enjoy it."

Element looked at Kai and then her scyth " Uh, okay. " She grabbed her scythe and gave it to him " What kind of improvment? " She asked watching him.

"at just the slight movement of the scythe a baby cries, each step pure nightmares etch from the darkness and when you kill your victim dies slowly and painfully." he smiled. "a birthday present." he realeased the blade of her scythe and replaced it with the new one. "here." he handed it. then a wave of darkness kicked Lucas in the crotch. "I ain't no theif" he growled.

Element listened to him as he spoke, she took the scythe and watched as Lucas was hit in the crotch with darkness. She winced a bit and looked back at Kai " Hmm, whats the catch? " She asked looking at the Blade " I never ever got a present on my birthday. Only birthday paries of which Shadow put together, they were never good because it was just Mom, Me and Shadow. " She slung th Scyth over her shoulder and sighed " So there has to be something wrong or you just love confusing me. " She really wanted to thank him and give him a hug but that wasn't her style.

"hmm none really just need allies. although there's only two who approves of that lousy excuse for a man is you and mom. all he's done yet is insult me. I doubt I've even done anythin to him. anyways moms the only one who gets you gifts. dad tries really he does but things are tough. you deserve more."

" Okay, for one Mom never even met Lucas and I don't even approve of him but I like him so I don't care. " She put the scythe down and looked at Kai " I don't care about gifts, don't you understand. Ever since i was born Shadow always keeps expecting I'm Lucifers child only because of the way I act and the way I'm always so rude. " She leaned agaisnt a wall " I never had any attention because Friday and Shaodw were always arguing, Redemption only wanted to teach me and when I met Demonic at the Lake, I was actually noticed. " She smiled a little

he handed her a book shadows journal. "that's not true, shadow was just like you at this age. only his parents were dead." he sighed then spoke," you should get that lieing habit checked. see I felt those emotions you just had. your thankful, and you love me too." he smiled and then hugged her before disappearing.

Element looked at the journal " The l word is not in my vocabulary, I'm not lying. " She tossed the journal across the room and looked at Friday " I hate this family so much. " She looked at the scythe and rolled her eyes leaving it on the floor as she sat down. " I like you a little now, Love that's not even close. " She whispered to herself.
Friday looked back at Element and sat beside her. " Don't worry.." She whispered the rest in her ear and hugged her.

Friday was paler then ever, her blue eyes shining red. She licked her lips and watched the floor.
Element hated this silence but figuered it was better then talking. She leaned back in her seat and took out her book on Cooking /nekos, she turned to the last page and read it before turning back to the middle.
