 Cloud burst into laughter, watching her faithful salamander scurrying around happily as Antoinette was set on fire. Her flailing around was extremely amusing.
Hahhahahablarghspuggh...
Cloud was hit full in the face with a jet of icy cold water. She spluttered, coughing, trying to rid herself of the water that had seeped into her nostrils. Cloud wiped some of the excess water off of her face, and the face underneath her hand was manic.
Thanks mate, I was a little thirsty.
She watched Antoinette, who was obviously in pain, and trying to pull off some sort of cool stance. All she had accomplished in doing this was looking stupid. At this, she fell back laughing again.

Then it went from a sangfroid-arrogance to complete irritation.
"FREAK!" She shrieked, stomping to the place behind Alex.

Alex hadnt said anything through the whole argument, she had just stayed watching "mate are you allright?" Alex asked Antoinette, she then looked at Cloud and Alex took of her jacket and gave it to cloud "here you go mate, its the best i got for you to dry yourself, i would give you my scarf but that keeps my neck warm and i'm pretty cold, so again have my jacket to dry you up" Alex said handing Cloud her jacket that had been in her desk

Cloud had a crazy glint in her eye that had never been there before. She paused to catch her breath, and wipe the tears from her eyes from laughing.
Looks like your crony Alex isn't exactly on your side, is she?
Cloud nodded to Alex.
It's alright, I won't sodden your jacket. You can keep it. Thanks though.
Cloud took out her wand, and aimed it at herself. A warm sensation fell over her, leaving her completely dry.

Alex laughed "mate i don't take sides i'm neutral, nothing more, and i yea i should have thought about the drying spell" Alex said laughing and taking her jacket back

Alex looked at the Gryffindor girl and then looked at the teacher "i don't care which one we learn about first but i just want to start" Alex said with a bored expression

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year "She's on my side," Antoinette hissed, completely oblivious to what Alex had just said. "so shut your cake hole, you lizard-loving loser."
Then Ernie shouted something completely moronic and Antoinette sniggered.
"Of course you do, being part reptile yourself." She whispered to Alex.

Alex couldn't help but laugh out loud when Antoinette made that comment on the Gryffindor girl "that was funny mate" Alex said not denying that it had been a great comeback

Aludra Yvette... Aludra looked on at the show with a broad grin on her face. Antoinette always made her classes so much more amusing. She carefully stored her notes about griffins inside of her back and pulled out more rolls of parchment just in case they had another creature coming up. Cloud grinned, her tongue between her teeth in a very snakelike expression.
Well, misssss Antoinetttteee....being a Slytherin, you tend to have a slightly stronger connection to reptiles, hmm?
She leaned over, so only Antoinette could hear her.
And if you're still betting on getting a spot in my Quidditch team, you'd best watch your mouth...
She straightened up, as if nothing had happened.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette cursed herself in her head. She had forgotten Cloud (she gave a quick glare to her fellow Housemate) was Captain of the Slytherin/Hufflepuff Qudditch team, the team Antoinette wanted nothing but to be a member of.
Water and minor, lame insults don't really affect the results of your tryouts, Antoinette noted confidently, almost arrogantly. She then bit her bottom lip and avoided Cloud's eyes for the rest of class.

Alex saw cloud lean in and whisper something into Antoinette's ear, Alex didnt hear most of it the only thing she did hear was "quidditch" and Alex leaned into Antoinette's ear "so you like Quidditch mate?Alex asked her

Cloud grinned as Antoinette fell silent.
That's what I thought.
She reached in her bookbag, and retrieved her jar of blue, magical fire. Xander scurried inside the jar, squeaking happily. His tongue shot in and out as he lapped up the flames. Cloud watched him happily.
