Christof's brows furrowed- he hadn't thought of that! But... if they DIDN'T find it? He tentatively picked up the little hand to give a tug in case the limb broke free like a spider, but no it remained firmly attached. Ah well. Perhaps he'd think about it on the way back. Still, he was more interested in this mysterious student. It was so similar to... yet entirely different. Was it a mask? Or its face? What lay underneath? Clearly a Doctor, or a doctor in training... Christof's eyes darted up and down it's form before he flushed and gestured down to the elvish corpse with a flush on a few patches of his face, trying to see if it needed any help. THIS was the sort he should have been seeking out! Barth... was certainly a challenge, and he'd hesitantly call him a friend, but it was all boring. Picking up his laundry after rehearsing or rearranging furniture in more easily-accessible and floppable positions. But this student... IT would know what to do with a proper Igor, surely!
He scrambled for the card he had written his name in crayon on, finding it folded in half in the bottom of his vest pocket to hold out to Malodore in excited greetings.

After a few more minutes of walking along, Aksaja flew up into the air for a moment to see where everyone else was, and check their location. He spotted a few more people wandering into the town in various directions. Oh geez... c'mon.
"HEY!" he called out. "OVER HERE. WORKSHOP IS THIS WAY!" At the very least, everyone should be going in the right direction instead of just ... wandering.
(( Directed at whoever wants to join in a spearhead to the Workshop XDD ))

Israfel's earwings flaped in slight aprehension. They were still a ways away, and in the maze like lines of houses, the siren took a great many turns and twists, not quite sure which was was the right way. "Lucy do think we should ask for directions or-" Hole on was that- "CIDER FAIRY!" Not quite. Riley was prone next to a fallen elf and upon seeing the thing for the first time, the siren made an 'ick' face. "You okay?" He didn't notice the blood coming from her thankfully. Otherwise he would have gone and had a panic attack. Looking at Lucien on his back Israfel made sure no one could see him reaching into his coat. "Do you need some?" The flask was offered, as he knew from experience sometimes being a little tipsy took the edge off.

Sin watched Malodore curiously, she knew the Plague Doctor was...meticulous. It was a positively brilliant mind, and Sin quite enjoyed the displays of logic. She especially liked Malodores pumpkin carving technique, and now elf fighting prowess. She watched as Christof seemed to hover and then attempt to introduce himself.
"I think you have a new friend...or an assistant." She gave a wry smile and eyed Christof's patched up body. Had he sewn himself up like that? Did all undead have to struggle to keep themselves together? Sin disliked the idea very much, especially after her utter failure in Nurse Cricket's class when it came to stitching and sewing.
Ever since she was little Sin's mother had lectured her about the horrors of scars. Even the tiniest wounds were carefully cleaned and bandaged and kept properly coated to avoid even a faint scar. Her skin was flawless...except for the bruises that currently marred a few patches, but those would fade. She gingerly touched her eye again and frowned, a black eye, how hideous.

Riley reached out to Israfel when she heard his voice, holding one arm out.
Yeah. Would you come help me get up? I just need to get back on Jericho before I freeze and/or bleed to death in this snow.
She was in no real danger of bleeding to death, but freezing was certainly a possibility. Losing her toes was a much likelier option.
She gave the cider a wary look, actually considering it - it would feel better, after all. However.. she took the flask, and used a few drops on her cut to clean it - she let out a loud hiss and her tentacles cringed at the feeling. When cleaned, she could see tiny bits of peppermint candy in her leg. Candycane splinters? How lovely.
Thank you.

Israfel blinked as she used the cider to clean her cut. Her cut. Cut. SHE WAS HURT. RILY, THE CIDER FAIRY, WAS HURT. Grabiing his flask and hiding it, Israfel almost dropped his friend. "JERICHO~! JERICHO~!" Screaming is his loud voice the siren had begun to panic. Feathers ruffled out and he looked for any signs of the dragon. "JERICHO! RILEY! RILEYYYYYYY" He whined out loud into the snow filled sky. "HALP!"

Malodore accepted the card, peering at it with curiosity. "Christof? Is that your name?" It handed the card back with a nod. "L.C. Malodore." It didn't bother with the call me Malodore bit as, evidently, Christof wouldn't be calling anyone anything.
At least, not out loud.
"You, too, have an interest in physiology?" it asked, though it wasn't expecting a huge explanation in return. That card didn't look like it could hold a lot of dialogue!

Ohhh, no. Riley winced as Israfel started screaming for Jericho - clearly not what she'd meant by helping her get to him. It was sweet that Israfel was worried, but.. calling attention to Riley at a vulnerable moment made her feel.. well.. vulnerable.
It's all right, Israfel. She tried to tell him, but he was too loud to hear her. Instead she just leaned against him, trying not to look too suspiciously like she was limping.

Sin flipped her hair back and then whipped around when she heard someone shouting. Oh! Riley! She had been watching her fight and elf and then turned her back to watch Malodore dissect. Had Riley been hurt? Had she lost her lunch again? She jogged over and then skidded to a stop.
"Is everyone okay?" Then she saw Riley's gashed leg and winced walking over. "Riley?"
She glanced at Israfel and then sniffed, was he...was he drunk? Oh sweet jack maybe that's where the trees had got it from, or had he gotten it from the trees?

Christof raised a clawed, almost inhuman left hand in a so-so gesture, before grabbing a fresh useless card from his pocket that said "Can you direct me to the lavatory" on one side, and on the blank attempted to fit the black crayon writing, 'Norm. On Clean Up End." And underneath he quickly added, "Need Help?" He could always cross out the top line if he needed to reuse the card. He was running out, but this seemed like a meeting that would benefit his interests.
When Sin suddenly spoke, he jumped, dropping the fresh card practically into the exposed Elvish Insides, and his bad leg gave out as he scrambled back. Where had she come from?? He hadn't even seen her approach! His heart racing his eyes drifted up to her bruised face but was deterred by that.... terrible outfit. Ah well, it wasn't the wrapping that mattered, it was what was inside the package. He fidgeted, clearly clamming up in terror, although he hadn't said a word.

"I don't think we need to clean up. Not here. Let its loved ones take care of that," Malodore said briskly, though not unkindly. "As for the rest... I am very nearly done, but..." Oh, the possibilities! A proper helper... or minion... the plague doctor was already spinning up ideas of a laboratory, Riley alongside, with this charming patchwork assisting.
Magnifico.
"I have a great need for such assistance back at the Academy, however," it said, opening its beak in a welcoming grin.

Christof straightened, pulling himself to his feet with his crutch to beam at the creature, giving a slight bow to show he'd be happy to be of service. With Sin having flitted off again, he had relaxed once more and was happy to stay near this new friend... Malodore... He was sure this could only lead to good things.
((I have to jet to bed! One can assume Christof is lurking behind his new surrogate-master for a bit! >o> ))

The Undead child frowned at her surroundings; how JOYful and bright and happy they were! The brightness in particular; it hurt her eyes, and she was tired enough as it was. Her limbs were aching, the cold finally caught up to her, and she was starting to feel a little...weird. Like she was wearing clothes that fit too tight. An unusual feeling on it's own, as she was wearing a sari as a makeshift dress.
Lizzy's disappearance into her tent was disappointing, and though Amrita understood that the poor girl didn't feel well, she couldn't help but feel incredibly uncomfortable. The other ghoul had been with her nearly the entire trip! At her side through everything! How was she going to make it without Lizzy?! Worse, what if something happened to Lizzy once she was feeling better? That would be terrible!
"F-feel better! And...and be careful!" She told the invisible tent that contained her invisible friend, lingering for a moment before turning and walking on her cold, bruised toes to find her other friends. She saw Julian and Christof first, and had to push her hair out of her face - ugh that fluffy white stuff had covered her hair too! It was all wet and blegh - to be able to distinguish Tahki from the snow around her.
"Ah!" She exclaimed, at a loss for words, and made her way over. She'd been about to great them when she noticed someone she hadn't seen in a while. "Johan! You're okay!" Pleased that her Saviour on the Train had made it out of the Icy Path alright, The Vetala then looked to take inventory of who else was there; Christof had wandered off again, and Julian had once more gone on ahead.
Well, alright then! Forward it was, plodding along slowly after Julian, trying to not show how tired she was getting.

Some snow had gotten stuck in Alcie's shoe somehow so she had stopped to remove it. Falling behind a little, she picked up her pace to catch up to the ever growing group and when she saw Quarria, a smile appeared on her face. "Hello Quarria! I'm glad to see that you made it through the icy path alright." The other student had been very kind to her, Junko, and Sin while they were in the forest and she was grateful that Quarria had let them ride on her back. "I'm alright for now. Thanks for the offer. We don't want you to overexert yourself. There's probably still a long way to go."
Alcie was pretty content at the moment and she had the strong urge to whistle. Not wanting to attract any elves or reindeer, Alcie resorted to softly humming to herself. There was nothing like a good festive carol to keep up the spirits.

Petro lagged behind Amrita, just in case any toys from that wretched island had trailed them. Thankfully their journey across the bridge had been uneventful and he arrived to find the undead ghoul had gone ahead. Most likely to meet up with the others. Silently he trailed after her, not really sure of what to say. He snorted in distaste at all the candy. Not that he didn't like something sweet but this was just too much.
