Chobi_Chocobo Booieann Chobi_Chocobo Booieann Basil winced at the drink " Blood orange juice? Yuck" she stuck her tongue out in disgust " I-I think I'll stick with cider, ooh and pumpkin eyescream!" Basil immediately bighted up at the thought, to bad it's so cold. " What do you mean?" Basil tilted her head curiously " Everything here is filled with JOY, only natural that you get odd feelings I think." she had to adjust her tent-bag on her shoulder again as they walked and she looked around at the surroundings. A strange voice interrupts you. "Cider and pumpkin eyescream? Those aren't foods we eat in these parts! Its snow cream and more snow cream!" Uh oh seems like you got a mad gansta behind you. He is not pleased with your food choices. HP: 43 damage ((Basil: 6+5 = 11; 11-6 = 5 damage to snow-gansta!= KO!! Basil's HP: 22)) Basil sharply turned around at the voice. A-a snow man? okay. " Odd." she dropped her tent and looked around for something to throw. " You guys have bad taste then! Eyescream is great!" She bent down and made a snow ball, stood back up then hurled it at the snowman's face the best she could. " There you go, I believe I just snow-creamed you." Basil stuck her tongue out to mock him. Meh, creamed him...snow-creamed him. That was the best she cold come up with. "WHAT AN ARM!" The gansta fails to duck and explodes upon impact leaving behind eyecream and a gift box. What an arm Basil has! HP: 0LOOT: Basil stood and stared for a few seconds with her jaw dropped a bit. " How come everything I fight..explodes?!" She looked back at Jamie then to the new loot. Basil ran forward excitedly to pick up the eyescream " SCORE!" sure she probably shouldn't eat something cold right now of all times, but still. About to get up and go she noticed the gift. " Oh, more stuff" she picked it up with her other hand and made her way back to Jamais. " That was fun! and I guess I will stick with throwing snowballs" she smirked before putting the new loot in her tent-bag and picking it up. " It's a bit cold for the eyescream right now I think." She started moving again, the slaughter from the CandyCane Lane had really wasted their time.

"Weecan, um, take a breakiff you want?" West asked once Belladonna was finished slapping yeti. What was with all these a**-kicking girls? "You've earned't, I think?" But, yeah. Inside he agreed with Colette whole-heartedly. Even if he was significantly more agreeable due to post-death shock, and general JOY infestation, West always preferred fighting to carrying another boil through the snow on his back. Not that he had ever had a choice between those two options before today.
He bent his knees sharply, using Barth's momentary weightlessness to hike him higher and keep him from dragging on the ground. From somewhere off to his left, a burst of gangster snow bits rained down upon him.

Jamais laughed, "But it exploded in style." She nodded tail flicking. She watched West and Barth tilting her head for a second before looking back at Basil. "At least snowballs seem to be useful against them."
She seemed to ponder curiously, and shrugged softly. "Cold or not, it's food?" She said with a chuckle.
"I could go for a pizza right about now though." Her tail flickered, "Maybe when we get back we should stop and order a few."

"We can take a break if you want," offered Alwine. "You don't look very tired, though.... granted, I've never carried a demon on my shoulders... ghosts don't get tired, really... I mean..."
Alwine trailed off as snow bullets started to rain on West.
"West! Be careful!" she cried. "I'm sorry!!" Even she wasn't sure why she was apologizing.
Wait, scratch that, she was apologizing for a thought she had. If West loved fighting so much, wouldn't it be something to watch him fight? It could be... fun.

Kilometer’s eyes remained wide and locked on LW. He had to make sure she wasn’t going to do anything else before he even thought of relaxing. The only good point to this was that he had forgotten about the cold and more so for his own safety. She wouldn’t actually attack him right? Right?
Originally it was only Kilometer who was glum but now after what just happened LW shared the expression. Maybe large cats would play rough with others but not one as small as he was. Jack, he usually avoids most contact. Then again maybe he’s just a tad too “hand off.”
He clammed up at this point and remained silent. At her apology his ears flicked and he started to walk, or to the best of his abilities, through the snow; taking one large step after another. His body wasn’t as tense as it was before, allowing him to walk more normally. The cold was kicking in again. Sitting in one spot would be considered a death trap.
As he passed LW he paused to look at her, her shift brought her to a sitting position so even though she was not a wolf she wasn't that high up in the air. With another moment of silence, followed by a few blinks, Kilometer started to pounce through the snow again. It wasn’t long before he'd stopped pouncing to look back towards LW, only to start pouncing again moments later. The expression on his face wasn’t as hard hitting or as serious as it was moments before.

"Hmph." Well, that hadn't been nearly as fun as usual. West crouched awkwardly and picked the present out of the snowman's mess of snow brains and snow skull.
"I goddagedouttahere," he muttered.

By the time Tsetsiliya had finally started up the steep Icy Path, her group had already gotten a good head start on her. She shivered only a little, but moreso over not liking being alone on this path one bit, but it was her own fault. If she were not so negligent and let her attention wander like that!
Giving her arms a fierce rub, she pushed through the snow with the best of her might. Cold was something she was used to from home, but this kind of cold was very lonely.
She had to catch up to the others! Or die trying at least.
On second thought, she really didn't like that idea, but she didn't have much of a choice now but to push on and hope she came upon them soon.

Alwine just stared at the remains of the snowman before quietly applauding West.
"That was... wow..." she couldn't think of anything else to say, so she continued walking.
She finally turned around and looked back at him. "Do you ever get into fistfights or anything? Or do you always prefer big guns like that?"

Barth was apparently not all that asleep, at least not enough to shake him loose while West played Who's Got the Bigger Projectile Weapon with an unfortunate Christmas denizen.
"Good shooting," Barth said from over West's shoulder. "Looks like you iced him."

Danny was late to the party as it seamed. He raced into the path trailing after the others from CCL. He spotted them not to far up ahead...with gangster...snowmen? WTF?

She was going to have to ask her brothers some time about 'boys'. Were they all this...anti-social and jumpy? Or was he just a particular case? Apparently the rough and tumbles of her home life didn't apply here. Ah well, time to start from the beginning again. Take it slow and get him used to talking. LW still had that determination to somehow get him to smile. Right now, that was looking like one hell of a challenge.
On top of all her internal ramblings, she was freezing and wet. Sitting in the snow in this form was not advisable. But she didn't move until he'd passed her and started to pounce off again. LW watched until she saw him turn back to look at her. With a low groan, the she-wolf slowly stood and and shuddered again. Jackdamnit! Why couldn't they be stuck somewhere warm! Her legs were stiff but walking was possible. Or shuffling. Tail fluffed out and shaking with the rest of her, LW followed.
It didn't take her very long to catch up with Kilo. LW stayed quiet though, not rambling off like she had been before. Violet eyes scanned their surroundings as she sniffed at the air. They must have been passing by an area that had previously been a battleground. It reeked of JOY. Eww.
The silence finally started to get to her as she maneuvered her way back in front of the cat to create a path for him to walk on. She only did it because she knew it was easier for Kilo to walk on. Never once was there any thought of how she, a ghoul, had to help him, a boil. That just wasn't something she discerned. Speaking of 'him', LW looked down at Kilo. The she-wolf's arms were wrapped around herself to keep warm while they walked.
"Umm...I wanted to ask," her voice was softer, like she was hesitant to speak. Or nervous about walking along this path now. "What exactly do nekomata's do?"
