Don't be discouraged if you cannot get it the first time..." She holds out her wand. "Protego!" A faint blue glow engulfs her, before fading away. "Your turn!"((And with that, I'm off! G'night everyone)) (("What's protego then, eh!?" "You know, PRO-TAY-GOH? You think a happy thought, it makes a patronus, and it keeps the dementors away?" I'm sorry...just the way it was written..I had a Samwise Gamgee flashback.))

Ayamae Akahana 0-Azula-0 Ayamae Akahana *stumbles out of the forest, her cloak torn in multiple places, and her hair a complete mess. she mutters darkly that getting centaurs drunk and partying is a -bad idea-. she then hobbles off toward the castle, her head pounding* ((Oh my god, I love you XD You have no idea how hard this made me laugh.)) (( I think if a REAL Hogwarts teacher pulled that, they'd be fired. lmao )) *picks leaves and such out of her hair before entering the castle. I keep telling Firenze that I don't like it on the forest floor...she thinks* ((OH MY GOD! Once again, you just passed my scale of AWESOMENESS. We need a trophy and flowers for this chick pronto.))

0-Azula-0 Aludra Yvette... "Yes no need to worry about my head." Aludra grumbled as she slide around next to him. She rubbed the top of her forehead and looked around the lake for a place to practice his stopping. "I guess we can try over here, near this big pile of snow just off the ice." ...6th Year Slytherin
"I said sorry, here let me kiss it better." Putting my arm around her shoulder so I wouldn't fall over when I leaned down, I kissed the top of her head. "Better now?" I asked as we made our way over to the large snow pile next to the lake, that was a good idea on Aludra's part if I couldn't stop at least I'd have a nice soft spot to crash into.

Aludra Yvette... "Its fine my love, I guess I'm just a little cranky." She hugged him around the waistin apology and smiled. Aludra didnt want him to be angry with her, not that they had had a fight before but it would be frightening to see him mad. "Alright, I'm not sure how to explain how to stop, but I can show you the right technique for stopping." Aludra skated forward slowly and just as she reached the pile of snow, she bend her knees and shifted her weight in the opposite direction she was heading so that her weight was transfered into the blade of her shoes. She dug the edges of the blades into the ice and came to a clean stop just inches away from the snow. "See? Easy as that. I'll stand right over here..." Aludra moved over to the side a bit. "... and I'll watch you." ...6th Year Slytherin

"Sure...easy, if you say so." Following Aludra's example I skated slowly forward toward the snow pile. Transforming my weight to the back of the skates I started to turn my feet like I would with roller blades however instead of stopping, I lost balance and went flying face first into the snow.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra chuckled as he fell forward into the snow. She skated over and sat down in the pile next to him. He was laying flat on his stomach with his feet on the ice, she flipped him over onto his back and kissed him through the stuck on snow on his face. "You did good." she whispered, wipping off the excess snow. "If you want to stop we can. I know falling on your face isnt too fun." ...6th Year Slytherin

Rolling over in the snow so I laid on my back I accepted Aludra's kiss and said, "No no its alright I want to keep going, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. Just need some more practice that's all." Smiling I slowly got back to my feet, and offered my hand to Aludra.
