The Doctor reached out and held her gently.
"It's a dream Ally, all of this is a dream. It can't hurt you," he whispered holding her close. "There's nothing to be frightened about."

Her body trembled as he held her. "How can you be sure?" she sniffed.

"Well... I have my sources," he smiled as he gently rubbed her back in a soothing matter, "plus we're still Missus BatWolf's home and you're..."
He trailed off and simply held her.
"I'm sorry Ally. I'm sorry I'm so terrible at keeping you safe."

"No, I chose to do that fight not you. There was nothing you could do. And I don't regret doing it. But I'm sorry I had to kill someone in front of you." she said while hugging him with her face buried in his shoulder.

"It wasn't you," the Doctor said calmly, "you wounded him but I'd shattered the Sapphire in the Leviathan's head... her psychic energy was released... she was the one who ended O'rsle's life, not you."
He held her close and rested his chin on the top of her head.
"Oh Ally, I shouldn't have gotten mad... then we wouldn't have run off and you wouldn't..." he felt guilt fill his heart, "I'm so sorry Ally..."

She looked up at him with a annoyed look "Stop saying your sorry. You did nothing we just did what came to us." she looked him in the eye "Don't ever say your sorry for something that's not your fault."

He gave her a weak smile as she simultaneously snapped and comforted him.
"Now that's going to be difficult," he murmured, "saying sorry is sort of like my catchphrase. Still... I guess it could be worse..."
He'd felt her calm down and was secretly pleased she was well enough to be annoyed at him. "You should rest now Ally."

Ally shook her head. "I'm Girmixian, I can live without much blood and do just fine." she lied as she looked up at him. She really wanted to kiss him but she wasent the type to go in first. Then again she broke so many of her own rule's already after being with the Doctor. Meh, she would wait for a good time. One were they were actually real and not just pictures in her head.

"No... you can't and... no..." he murmured resting his forehead against hers and closing his eyes, "Please Ally, just rest, for the sake of my mental health...rest."
He opened his eyes and looked at her with his haunted brown eyes. She would be scarred, and whether she allowed it or not, he would never forgive himself if Ally's condition worsened.

Ally sighed "ok" she wispered as he left. She hugged herself now feeling lonely again. She looked up suddenly were she was now in the Tardis. She got up and walked around she went down the stairs and found that chess room she had once found.
[he did leave right?]

The Doctor felt mentally and physically drained. Ally's blood was smeared on his shirt and he had a nasty bruise forming over his left eyebrow. He mentally reached out and lightly brushed against Ally's mind, hoping to ease the loneliness in her heart.
Fa'rne entered with a tray of hot tea and flakey pastries.
<> she said giving him a worried look. <>
"I'll be fine," he said looking off into space, "the Leviathan hatchlings... what will happen to them."
<> Fa'rne looked away and wiped her hands on her apron nervously. <>
The Doctor looked at Ally as Fa'rne spoke. Outside he heard snarls and a piercing howl. All of that... for nothing...

As Ally walked into the room she was surprised to see an Ood there. "How are you here?" she said. She then heard the Ood's song in her head. She watched the Ood with a sadness. Tears started to swell up in her eye's as she listened. "Can't you do anything?" she called out. The Ood kept singing as she felt her heart shatter.

The Doctor seemed to wince as he sensed Ally's distress. He gently took her hand in his.
Don't cry Ally... please don't cry... he silently pleaded.

Ally clutched her head "Just go away!" she yelled as she ran through the Tardis. She then found herself falling in nothingness. She looked around and hugged herself. "Why did he have to tell me that." she said quietly to herself. "Everything will be ok, I won't let anything happen to him." she said while hugging herself in the falling space.

The Doctor felt his arm burn where it had made contact with the lance. Thankfully Fa'rne noticed and rolled back his sleeves despite his protests. He winced as she disinfected and bandaged the large gash. Somewhere between the antiseptic and bandages, he fell into a deep sleep.
There was nothing... absolutely nothing. He walked alone in the darkness feeling his years crush his spirit. And then he heard it... someone was crying... his steps quickened as he ran towards whoever it was. Eventually he broke out into a run.
"I hear you! Where are you? I'm here!" he called out feeling the loneliness and desperation in the cries.
