After completely regaining his chakra, he got up from the tree and walked up to the rushing water. He performed eight handsigns and focused his chakra. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu." said Chokichi. Two big balls of water rose up from the river and moved to the left of him.

The two balls of water quickly formed into identical copies of Chokichi. The two clones looked at each other than at the real Chokichi. Chokichi looked at the clones and smiled. "You two walk around the village and look for ways we or I can get money." said the teen as the clones looked and nodded. They then both ran off in different directions.

After finishing up his training, Chokichi went to put his shoes back on. This was truly an experience that would greatly help him later in future battles. Not knowing what he was going to do next, he left the area.

It was Zadok's favourite place in the entire village and maybe the world, though he hadn't traveled far outside the village to get a chance to see other potential hotspots. However, this place was none other than the waterfall of the Village Hidden in the Mist, many called it a place of growth and it was obvious why they did. The waterfalls just had a vibe to it, calm, relaxing and mellow, it calmed Zadok no matter how bad his day was. Today Zadok didn't come to relax any at all, he came to train. He was going to start off with some genjutsu training.

Zadok was seated on large stone right by the edge of the bottom of the waterfall, remaining perfectly still. This would look rather strange to anyone who happened to have been watching. Soon the reason for Zadok's behavior would be obvious. After a few more seconds of remaining completely still, in the blink of an eye Zadok drew a kunai from his pouch and hurled it at a nearby bush. A smile came across Zadok's face as he hopped off the large stone and ran over to the bushes to claim his prize. In the bush was a small white rabbit whose tail had been pinned to the ground by Zadok's kunai. Without out any hesitation Zadok put his hand around the torso of the rabbit getting a good grip as he pulled the Kunai from the tail and placed it back into his kunai pouch. He held the rabbit up to his face and spoke.
"Don't worry little rabbit, I won't kill you........yet."
He said in a gentle voice allowing a smirk to creep across his face as he worded the small yet critical additional word to his sentence.

"Now let's begin!"
Zadok said with enthusiasm as he proceeded to tie the small rabbit to a tree at the beginning of the forest. He then took a couple steps back as he proceeded to take out a genjutsu scroll from his ninja pouch. He took a couple minutes reading the details of the jutsu carefully before placing the scroll on the ground beside him. [1/4]

Zadok closed his eyes and took deep breaths as he began to enter a concentration, trying to balance his physical and spiritual chakra. Slowly, Zadok began to form the necessary handseals to perform the jutsu, which, by the way, is called Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape. After completing the required handseals, Zadok calmly placed his hands by his side and opened his eyes. [2/4]

The rabbit should now see Zadok's body slowly disintegrating into jet black rose petals which would be gently carried away by the nice cool breeze. Seeing this would cause the rabbit to be in utter confusion seeing that his adversary seemingly just disappeared into the wind, leaving him left-for-dead tied up against a tree. However, this wasn't the case at all. The rabbit was staring dead at Zadok who was now in a nearby tree.
"Damnit!"
Zadok cursed to himself as he descended from the tree and landed a few yards infront of the rabbit. [3/4]

Again Zadok began to concentrate, focusing more this time around. He figured his chakra balance was a little bit off, he wasn't sure but it couldn't hurt to pay closer attention to that aspect of the jutsu. He proceeded to repeat the set of handseals he performed a few moments earlier. After completing the handsigns, again he simply let his hands fall to his sides. Immediately Zadok's body dispersed into a shower of black rose petals which were simply blown away by the wind. This time he didn't have to guess if it worked, the rabbit was very disoriented and in a state of severe confusion. The poor rabbit looked around frantically in every direction it could. Soon Zadok would casually walk out from the forest a couple yards away from the rabbit. Success! [4/4]

Zadok took no time to rest after learning that first genjutsu. He was now ready to tackle another one, Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu [ Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique ]. Zadok again took a few minutes out to examine and study the details of the jutsu. Soon Zadok threw the scroll on the ground yet again once he believe he was ready to give it a go. [1/4]

Facing the small tied up rabbit, Zadok closed his eyes and steadily concentrated on creating the right balance between the two chakras. He was determined to get this down on his first try so he really just took his time, trying not to rush in and fail. After a few moments of constant concentration Zadok opened his eyes and performed a single handseal, the serpent. [2/4]

Zadok kept focusing intensely as leaves would suddenly start to circle around the small rabbit, basically enveloping him. Then the leaves fell to the ground all at once. The confused rabbit now focused his attention on his enemy which stood before him, Zadok. Everything seemed to be pretty normal, did the genjutsu fail? Not at all. [3/4]

The place became absolutely still and silent, so silent that you could hear a pin drop. Yes, you'd be able to hear a pin fall in the grass. Zadok now slowly approached the small rabbit and knelt down when he was about a foot away.
"Hush little rabbit, this'll only hurt a lil bit."
With that, Zadok proceed to take a kunai from his ninja pouch and slowly start to cut the rabbit's right leg off. Suddenly the genjutsu ended. 'What the hell???' Zadok thought to himself as he approached the rabbit in reality. [4/4]

"He's not moving."
Zadok said as he check the small mammal for some form a pulse, but it turned out that the rabbit was dead. It seemed as if the rabbit died from a heart attack. Zadok simply stood up and shook his head as he took up the scroll and head off to the academy.

His next stop would become the waterfall. It was peaceful here and very quiet making it the worst possible choice for an enemy to choose to hide. Sadly his search remained unsuccessful and he knew where he would have to venture too next. Further into the area he would find the shrine. A place most didn't even know about.

Flou walked to the area and when he got to the waterfalls he sighed and sat down onto a rock near the cliff of the waterfall. A smile was on his face, but despair was on his mind as he sat there.... Flou took his sword and laid it beside himself atop the rock and crossed his legs and went into a deep meditative state. He focused deeply and sat still...
He looked into the water before him and saw a man, not a child anymore... he was not making laughing gs bombs anymore, or little missions... He was a shinobi, one with stories and a life that had plenty of bonds on it... One being the one with Aki... "Aki..." Flou sighed as scooted to the waters edge gently and then placed his hand over the water, Aki's reflection appeared before him and Flou smiled into the water's reflection, but beside Aki, another reflection appeared, his mothers, the same face he saw in the flashback. Aki and his mother looked to each other and then to Flou and Flou looked at them with a smile on his face. "I only wish you could both be with me now..." Flou's hand, that was hovering over the water touched the surface and sent a ripple off, the reflections disappearing.. Flou's face went to a darker tone and his eyes slimmed in despair.

Flou sat beside the waters edge looking into the reflection for a good hour, he was ready to move on... Flou sighed as he thought about his vision of Aki and his mother and couldn't help but collect the names of those that had gone the wrong way in their paths, chasing visions of their futures... Flou used to do that, but he'd realized he'd die before he'd get there, so now he was just existing, not for Kirigakure, not for Aki, not for his legacy, but just for himself. To live... To experience and to do what he felt right, not what others thought, or depending on another's feeling.

Flou stood up, gripping his sword that was laying at his side and used it as almost a crutch, hoisting himself up and then leaving the area to the Shrine, maybe he could focus there and learn a skill or two... Flou disliked training in Dojo's or the Academy, fights always happened, and Flou was a kind soul, he much rather liked the silence in his training.

Haiku jolted into the waterfall area. Ohn shortly behind her partner. "Can't believe Yokai's gone." She whispered. Haiku paused and turned to her owner. Ohn looked up. "What? I know you're thinking the same." She told the snow leopard. Ohn sighed and walked over to the only willow tree in the area. She removed her katana from her belt and sat down, her back against the tree. Haiku laid next to her and laid her head upon Ohn's leg. Ohn rested her hand upon Haiku's head and smiled. "Well, If Yokai isn't Mikage. At least his brother is running things." Haiku purred in agreement.

Ohn slowly opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep in the serenity of the waterfall area. She yawned and ruffed Haiku's fur before her stomach growled. "Come on, Haiku, I'm hungry." The snow leopard stretched her legs before standing and waiting for her owner to gather thought and join her. Ohn belted her sword and headed into the village for a bite to eat at the cafe.

It was a complex situation, wasn't it? The other friendly red head, and a number of other situations? Sure, the monk got to know people, but inevitably it wasn't as if he really knew them. At this point in the line of work as a shinobi, things were shady at best. Each individual sheathe he possessed slid into the moist earth, as the monk began to stare simply up at the sky. What else was there for him to do? He worked tirelessly for the good of everyone, yet his work seemed to gain him little else but renown. He had begun to learn of the world, but in the end it seemed as though the world were learning more about him, and the more it did, the more Zay seemed to lose himself in it all. The secrets and concerns.

All for the love of one's home land. For the name of forgotten heroes. For honor and to be more than that faceless stranger on the streets. He couldn't help but sigh. "Maybe I should have just done the regular monk thing." Zay tried to laugh it off simply, but it was a bit more complex here. "If only Mi were here..." It was probably one of the first times in his life Zay had missed someone so, considering how they had met. They hadn't even had time to work together, thrust into the exams those years ago. They'd somewhat bonded, or as close as he figured to bonding.

Her mind was blank and her expression even more void of any semblance of any emotion as she picked her way unconsciously through the foliage. Where were Setsuna and Yokai? She needed to find them and make them report. Frustrated at her inability to locate them, the white haired woman looked up finally. Her surroundings had changed. Initially she had assumed she was heading in the direction for the Academy but instead she was by the Waterfall. "...uh oh.." Once again her terrible sense of direction inhibited her from getting to location A without making pit stops at location , B, C, D-Z first. The roar of the Waterfall was causing her ears to ring, Mi heading up the stream in order to escape the churning water and drop off. Thinking she was heading in the right path to getting herself out of the area she ended up walking further into it, completely lost now. Her red eyes glowed as she let her eyes travel upwards until her vision was occupied by the vast expanse of sky. She hadn't realized she was wandering into a new area; where someone else was stationed in the vicinity first. "If only Mi were here..." Upon hearing her name being called, her gaze was torn from the heavens and landed on Zay's form. He was a polite distance away from her, preoccupied with sky watching as well. "Why? Are you ill?" She asked, blinking her confusion at his seemingly innocent request. Mi had not seen Zay in a long time. The last time she had come back, after tracking down Kein, she had tried her very best to avoid him and his reprimands. By leaving twice in a row she had to have upset him by now. It was hard to believe he wouldn't be miffed at all of the inconveniences she had made him suffer. The small woman continued to stare in his direction, waiting for a response.

Alzayr's sigh and wistful thoughts seemed to manifest in the most cheerful way possible, in fact in just exactly as he had wished aloud. The red headed monk shot upward, turning his head toward the voice he hadn't heard in quite some time. Pale hair and red eyes. Her very naivety was captivating as usual. As per usual, he didn't rise lazily or slowly, the monk seemed to do so all at once. Rocking back once to roll forward onto his feet in a lithe manner. There was plenty to say to her. Irresponsibility rampant and reckless abandon, considering her station. Well, what had been her station. He didn't know for certain if it was still her station. A mizukage was still a village leader, despite having disappeared.

"Not really ill, Mi," the monk laughed, hurrying over to the woman, wrapping his arms about her in joy. It was brief, for the moment was a bit odd. He'd rarely even thought to embrace Mi as he had just done, their relationship quite different in the first place. "I'd just been wishing for someone who knew me for something of less than an idol and more of a monk. Where exactly have you been?" To which he had to admit, he wasn't. Solemn and drab were by no means something up his alley, though the exercise regiment was pretty impressive at the end of the day.

Oh that oh so familiar demeanor. How it seemed to derail her. Seeing his familiar face, expression, manner of movements, it all seemed to cause her a huge amount of relief. Why am I so relieved? Zay reassuring her he was not ill put her at ease as well. Already she was tense enough. Why am I tense? Scratching the nape of her neck, she puzzled over what would cause him to call for her and why he was here of all places. Why was she here? Mi's eyes widened at his sudden embrace, however brief, and her cheeks burned a rosy color in response to her shock. Hugging him was not something she had made a habit of doing but her reaction was the same as last time, only this time a heart clenching feeling washed over her. It was as if that one hug seemed to warm up her entire body; which until now she had just realized was frigid. Why am I so cold...? Her gaze flitted everywhere but his face, Mi trying desperately to hide her embarrassment.

This reunion was going a lot better than she had anticipated."I'd just been wishing for someone who knew me for something of less than an idol and more of a monk. Where exactly have you been?" "I-idol? I don't know what you - Oh. Ive been hunting Kein. I would have thought Sypher would have explained the situation to you." Her expression turned bleak, the joy she was feeling at being reunited with Zay had all but dissipated. "I chased him here and then things got complicated. I lost him after that...I've only just returned and was, I was-." Now Mi swept the area with her firey gaze. Why am I here? The nagging voice in the back of her mind was causing her head to hurt. Placing a hand to her forehead she narrowed her eyes as an odd ringing from within threatened to pop her eardrums. Taking a deep breath, to regain her bearings, she waited until the ringing stopped before she continued. "Setsuna and Yokai. I was looking for them." Why am I looking for them? She didn't have to explain that she was lost. There was no one in this village who knew her as well as Zay. He would probably come to that conclusion on his own.

Trying to mask her dizzy spell she looked Zay up and down and smiled. Reaching out to grip both of his shoulders she squeezed lightly. "You didn't change. I'm so glad." Everything around her seemed so different. Why is it so different? No guards, no place to be, freedom to go at her own pace, it was nice to see he was the same reliable monk.

PostPosted: Thu Mar 14, 2013 10:30 am
The situation was kind of odd, despite the same level of familiarity, his embrace and relief had brought about a rosiness that few saw of Mi, and frankly? That could only make the monk smile more. There was cheer to be had all about, and she was just as happy to see him, at least that's what he got out of it. Of course, Mi attempted to hide it, but that wasn't going to stay hidden from Zay, of all the people in the village to run into. Any joy they had felt, or Mi felt, was smothered with something he couldn't quite pin just yet. She mentioned Sypher, and that she'd been chasing Kein, and that... That threw him off. Thought Sypher would have explained it? Zay wouldn't stay in a room with him terribly long.

"I stay out of Sypher's hair, and he stays out of mine, Mi. We've got a uh... difference of opinion," Zay explained off handed, "He mentioned you were out on mission, and a few other things, however we've stayed clear of one another since my last mission." All the while, Mi was surveying the area, and suddenly she was holding a hand to her forehead. Deep breath, even. Mention of Setsuna and Yokai, and that was bad news. She reached up, squeezing his shoulders lightly and expressed cheer. He looked down and sighed simply. He got to be the bearer of bad news, it seemed. "I'm glad that you haven't either Mi, I'm just glad you're safe. Let's just sit down and talk for a while, Sypher's held the place together, what's another hour?" She was the only other active shinobi in service from the days of the first exams, and only she had been about for most of his development here. No one was scrambling for his help, or asking for tutelage. It was just the peaceful roar of the waterfall, and Mi's presence, and for that, the monk was certain he could keep the world at bay for an hour.

A sort of dim sadness flashed across her face before she sighed lightly and slowly looked down. Yes. Sypher's sudden promotion to Mizukage had set things at odds with some but she had only seen nothing but improvements in some that would never have happened if she had stayed where she was. Sebastian for example. The Shinobi had started rocky and twisted and was now hell bent on being nothing but beneficial for the village and it's citizens. "I apologize...I didn't intend to cause you any problems." She looked out towards the water, her expression shifting into her more mellow self. "It couldn't be helped. Like I said. My mission was important for Kirigakure." Although now that she looked back on it she wasn't so sure anymore. All she had done was run in circles, minus the few connections she made with outside, rural villages. Now she understood that there were more than just inside villagers that needed their protection. The rural lands were just as important as Kirigakure proper.

At the invitation for a chat she perked up a bit and nodded her head, much like a child would when overly excited but not wanting to spoil the moment with words. "Oh, wait. I am looking for Yokai and Setsuna. Setsuna. I need him for some intel and Yokai, to buffer the meeting with his brother." She said quickly, her daze clouding her shock again. That knot in my throat returned. Mi mused, sensing something was wrong. Again that slight ring returned, the intensity not as severe as before.
