Imhotep nodded. He would look into them with his old spell books. He really didn't have anything new than 1400's, but he could look. She then brought back the topic of humans. "They would take turned holding the Veil up. Since there is three suitable candidates they would each take eight hours. two would be twelve, and one would be twenty-four." The man answered her about what it would be like if human's did it.

Imhotep grinned. He knew the answer to her question. "There is a reason he's a council member." He told the woman. He followed behind her. If Imhotep hadn't been there to know the reason he wouldn't have known too. The man was a war hero and that raised him to the level of famous, but it is what the man was known for other than that. Len was a researcher. He had done just as much as Imhotep had when he was among the living. In fact Len even improved on some of Imhotep's ideas. Somehow the man had unlocked the secret to unlimited magic. It was more controlling and using it. Controlling it took up Len's real magic, causing him to be weakened and when he blacked out completely it caused the his powers to fail.
