Judyfay Sins Hey umm. So I am looking to get a couples edit done for me and umm heh, a special someone. And I was wondering who all could do one in a 2-3K price range? I probably could. I think my problem would be making time for it. sweatdrop

Hey everyone, sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if we could have a thread in this guild on "fanart and web graphics"?
Because I've seen some members post their fan art and drawings and such, it would be nice to have a thread for members to show their artwork and graphics besides avatar edits for a change.
I'm betting there's lots of members here that wanna show their artwork right? smile

yeah but we leave links to those galleries all over the place already (in our shops, sigs, the profile thread...) and post random stuff here in the chatterbox when we're bored. So if others want to see them just advertise in those places or post things that arent avvy edit related here in the chatterbox ^_^

I am having a moral issue. I got commissioned to do an edit. I figured it would only take a couple of days, but things kept coming up so it ended up taking about a week and a half. At the end of it, I had redrawn the hair about 3 times because I would finish and be unhappy with it. Finally I decided I could make it no better and gave it to the customer. But I told her I would not take any payment because I was not happy with the work. And that is a big thing for me, I don't take money that I feel I don't deserve. But the customer was extremely happy, and tried to pay me 2000 for it anyway. When I took on the job I was thinging maybe 350 gold, because all they really wanted was to have their avatar as it was, but with very slight alterations to the clothes they were wearing. And thicker longer hair. I don't want to take 2000 gold for somthing that: A) Should not have been that much in the first place, and B) I was not happy with. So my problem is, what should I do?

Buddy, the lady is trying to pay you a tip. It's more discourteous not to take the cash now than to give her the edit for free. If she believes you deserve 2k, you should take it and be grateful. 3nodding
Trust me, I'm english. wink

Take it. It is a tip. Just tell her your feelings about the matter if its still bothering you, but be sure to thank her properly for such generosity. 3nodding

I agree, take the money... but if you feel bad about it, make your customer a new or different edit or something for free.
