He lay there motionless in the brush, his torso having turned solidly to stone, his arms & legs almost there as well. However, the pulsating drops of goop continued to slowly flash, as if it were charging. One of them began to grow ever larger in size, & a terrible face floated across the surface, rotating about the clearing in a static expression, simply repeating the phrase, "Art is a bang, art is bang, art is a bang..." Chakra lines then streamed across this one enlarging ball of white goop as it became translucent. Straining at some kind of limit, the first ball felt as though it didn't have much time to go.
And if that weren't enough, the sudden sound of wildlife careening away from the area would at least startle the group of Suna-nin. They were all headed in one direction, instead of out radially, as if the only safe spot lay deeper into the terrible forest. Much deeper, so that even the darkness of night felt lighter than what was down there.

"Good!" He called out, then saw what happened to the man. "Sh..." He muttered, before drawing a Fubiki Ice Bomb Kunai and throwing it at the largest ball. "HOSTILE!" He shouted, drawing more kunai. "GENNIN, FALL BACK!"

San could no longer maintain his air of ANBU emotionlessness. With teeth barred and showing, the Satetsu snarrled as he quickly began to recalculate a plan. He was ******** tired of these damn flowers, and their special abilities, the lost bloodlines, everything about the damn things. They had plagued Suna for too long, and he wish he could have done something about that. But until Kazekage said anything, he would follow his lead: he did KNOW alot more about these things then he did.
So the sword was an explosion, the man had the blast element, and he ws now reciting about how art was a bang......wonderful: using Sans love for explosion against him. The ANBU's fast calculating brain quickly did some planning as he spoke with slight growl on his voice adding to the aggitation to the whole scenario. Although it would seem he was angry at the people he was talking to, he was more so just agrivated with fighting long lost bloodlines, going into a magical, MAGNETIC forest with GENJUTSU abilities and other things like that. But that was being an ANBU.....getting dirty because he could handle it. <********! There is no time Ganchou, we gotta move now!! Gennin! get your assess moving!! Follow us!!
The gang would then quickly assemble and move deeper into the forest. They may not understand now, but if San was right they would thank him later. While moving, the elder Satetsu brother issued orders to his younger brother who was no doubtably hot on his heels.
"Sarus, you are going to create a three man cell with the Gennin. When we arrive to a safe location, you guys are going to act as one, understood? I would greatly like to know why Mam-sama sent Gennin on this ANBU mission, but they are now apart of you. Keep them safe, and carefully follow orders from us NO MATTER what they are. If it is "run" then run if it is "kill" then kill. We can only survive and get our gennin back if we work together. I have a bad feeling...."
San then ran closer to ganchou and spoke as well, getting Info ANBU to ANBU.
"That thing is going to explode and cause a huge comotion and prob alert everyone and their mother about what is going on. We need to get to the primary objective stat, work our magic, get him extracted, and get our gennin home. I think if they boys were sent here, let them play. Sarus and the Gennin will act as our third team member, but sticking together. Their collective skills should be capable of keeping them alive, and make our job easier. Thoughts?"

 Sarus Satetsu ❝ Sarus was grateful that his brother had saved him, but thi was ridiculous "For the love of god ! Why do I have to be stuck with them?! Who told them to come here in the first place?! Alright ! C'mon, don't drag your asses and don't annoy me. Also, if you expect me to save you everytime your a** gets handed to you, you have another thing coming. And Ganchou, don't tell me I need manners stupid piece of s**t !" Sarus took deep breathe and calmed down. His violet aura still flickered about as thought about the situation. "Alright so what's our orders?"

As Silas followed closely and side by side with Sarus his attitude changed completely. Thinking to himself he wouldn't go around saying anything unless it needed to be said. He really didn't mind working on a team, he wasn't just a Genin as they thought! Silas was pissed at what they were saying and they had not damned right to say those things either. Silas was boiling up inside and barked back at Sarus "Hey your supposed to be a damned shinobi, shut up, take orders, and follow through. That's it, stop complaining and just do what needs to be done, your acting like an immature child!" Silas hopped up farther to talk with Ganchou. "So what's the plan Ganchou-sempai? I'm not just a genin with no knowledge... I got out of the Chunin exam not to long ago. I am sorry if my rank describes who I am, but I won't let you down."

as Lucas followed the group he listened to what was being said by all. as soon as Sarus and Silas started getting rilled up rage splayed across Lucas' face for a brief second then returned to a more newtral but aware face. it was unlikely that anyone picked up on his rage and he decided that it would be dealt with later and only after half of the rage was put into this situation.
paying attention to what had happened to the man on the ground who had caused the blast and was now some sort of goop ball. it seemed odd and he should check his notes on historical jutsu to see if he could spot a similarity. he pulled a book out from his jacket and leafed through it as they ran.
"uh... we could be in trouble. that seems to be reaching the higher ends of a long unused or supposedly unused jutsu. blast element. all i have on it is descriptions and a few field notes. it seems that people with lightning have had the most success in the past against this. these are sparse field notes and so i'm not sure how much stock we can put in that refference but i think that it would be best to know all possibilities first."
he said and continued to look through the book to see if he could find anything else.

Ganchou's kunai & ice bomb landed inside the bomb, coming to a halt softly, but it definitely left a hole to let the explosion blow through. As it detonated, the blast sent up a large spike which turned cross-like 3/4 of the way up along the shaft. It wasn't a true C0 since the petrified man hadn't been able to personally set it off, but it enacted as a smaller version of it. Forest cleared away as the blast ensued, turning into a crater-like depression in the ground. Here, water started to fill in, rushing in from an unknown source. Elsewhere in the forest, the deeper, darker parts seized & convulsed with unknown breathes. The darkness would swirl about those shinobi within, moving of their own accord as large animals would with their prey before them.

While the blast was slowed by the spikes of ice from the bomb, Ganchou grabbed San and dragged him along behind him, dropping kunai and forming the flicker jutsu to get them a safe distance away. Right before they disappeared, he called "SARUS. GET THOSE GENNIN HOME!"
*Whump*
Ganchou and San would land in a heap in a clearing, which as they landed began to steadily fill with darkness. Punching San lightly in the shoulder, Ganchou crawled up from the ground and whispered "San, get up. It's not over yet."

San was quick to his feet, using his ears and other senses to take in the surroundings. After the punch San spoke to ganchou about the orders he had given to Sarus and the gennin, as the whole situation wasn't looking good.
"We can dileberate about this later, but that was a mistake. We shoulda taken the gennin with us......Now we dont know their status, where the possible location is, did they even make it out, and we have no way of finding it out either. I can use my kagura shingan to see them, but I'm now going to have to put my faith in my chunnin brother, who relies heavily on bloodline techniques and hope this forest dont mess him up too much. They're alot more of this things in this forest, and the gennin are possibly alone or scttered, or maybe even dead. Lets get this over with before there is anymore collatoral damage....."
San was a little upset with the whole outcome, as he would have taken the gennin. They where already in deep soup for being in the damn forest, and the best possibility they had for getting out alive would be with them. But with that over, San kept his senses sharp. Maybe a clue of their were abouts would appear.....

Sarus Satetsu ❝ "Didn't I tell you not to get on my ******** nerves before a rip all of that blonde hair from your head !" Sarus had thought he could hate a man so much in his life. Knowing the situation, he choses to take his brother and go off somewhere else. Leaving him with two gennin that weren't supposed to be here in the first place. This type of s**t is exactly why he came back. Iron sand quickly exploded from his gourd and surrounded all three of them. Sarus also compacted the sand so that anything that would try to attack them would have to atleast put up an effort to get through. Now all three of them were in a pitch black dome, but there was no need to panic because they all knew they were there. "Look, you both nee to get out of here ad go home. I know you want help and all, but you're skills aren't enough. You said you just got out of the chunnin exam not to long ago, but yet you're still a gennin. I been to the exams once and I passed it.You know how old I was? Nine. So don't give me your s**t and when I lead you out of this forest, I need you to go back to Suna and the give the kazekage an update on our progress.Do you both understand?" Sarus honestly couldn't care less who they are or how many times they been to the exams. Their skills were still young and not ready for this S ranked mission. He didn't care what they felt, it's the cold hard truth and they stayed and here tried a pathetic attempt on trying this mission, they will die. Believe it or not, but he were only thinking of them. He doesn't know what type of mentally challenged person would send two gennin in such a place.

Silas stopped with Sarus and Lucas inside of the sand ball. "I'm putting an extra barrier inside with my shadow hands technique, it is dark enough in here that I can coat the edges with the chakra infused shadows." While explaining Silas performed the jutsu. "Sarus I know that it wasn't right for them to give us to be your responsibility. But we are all shinobi and we were all assigned to this mission. Please all I'm asking is if we can just all work together and complete the mission with trust." Silas waited for the reply from his comrade. She was focusing now on the shadow that was helping them.

(((not sure how syn's post worked but... uh... i'll post as if i'm inside the iron sand.)))
Lucas watched as the sand encased him and sarus. he needed light however to be able to see and so used his fire release: flare technique so that he could have enough light in intervals to read through his book. he then pulled out blank paper and some writing instruments. the paper was the size of explosive tag paper. he began writing on it as if he had memorized what he had written. he wrote out a total of 12 pieces of paper by the time he was done pausing only once to make sure that sarus wasn't going to kill him.
