Malachi smiled, getting in next to Kiena and wrapping his arms around her waist. "Why would I have a problem with that?..."

Kiena smiled and closed her eyes. "I don't know."

Shutting his eyes, Malachi whispered, "I would never have a problem with that..."

Kiena began to drift off into sleep, dreaming of when she died.

She had been walking down the street of the poor district heading home with a bag of food in her hand. In her other hand a fudge popsical. As she licked the fudge pop she stopped at a cross walk. Waiting for the walk light to turn green she set down her bag and checked her watch. 9:56 pm. As she went to pick her bag back up a guy ran up from behind her and pushed her into the way of a truck, seconds from passing the crosswalk.

Kiena awoke with a start, sweat rolling down her forhead.

Shifting slightly in his sleep, Malachi let out a soft snore.

Kiena quickly glanced over at Malachi and put her hand on her head.

Slowly opening his eyes, Malachi looked up at Kiena. "You okay?..."

Kiena let her hand fall to her side. "... Just a bad dream..."

Malachi nodded, then coughed a bit. "You'll have to act like the Espada for a while... I'm still too weak to do much..."

"What do you mean? I'm not strong enough to even be consitered an Espada yet."

"But right now, I'm weaker than you. I need to hide for a few more hours up to another day before I'm back to full strength plus."
