Orias watched and listened, in pure disbelief of what he was seeing. Another, cursed such as he? When he returned, he would have words for the man. Upon coming back, and with the shenanigan of the fans, Orias leaped into action, his bodyguards drawing weapons but unsure what to do as the shade slammed his fist into the ceiling fan and sent it flying wildly off course, crashing into another table more noisy than harmful. Orias landed just beside him, putting his guards at ease. "What did you do to draw her attention, and why have you drawn her to ME?"

No sooner than Orias had come within Amias' vicinity--leaving his guards behind--would he feel the strange, burning heat of the orb against his chest. The unlucky aura around Amias dissipated, leaving him and his prey in a moment of eerie silence. "I was wondering how long it would take to break your calm." His voice was silent, nothing more than a whisper. Kali's orb drained his energy completely on impact, rendering the Shade paralyzed. "Kali doesn't like traitors, so I'm sure she'll have a great time reminding you of what it means to be a loyal servant." Without delay, the Golden sphere pulled the Shade within, trapping him in a prison made with the power of a god. Before the guards would have the chance to react, the pagan--and the orb--were gone.
But to where? For whatever reason, Amias felt inclined to visit the area where he'd met Kali's ambassador in the first place. Orb in hand, he waited patiently by the slot machines to see what this new source of supernatural power was.

Malacai himself was pleased as he saw the betrayer captured, and as Amias turned to walk away a man bathed in darkness approached him. He smirked and offered him a slight bow. You follow orders well. I now have a job for you of higher importance. Seek out the one called Damian, a Dreadnought following Kala's directive. He will be your aid. I would see you work to weaken the barriers that keep heaven and hell seperated, and for this I will grant you but a small bit of my power, he seemed to speak without moving black lips, moving black eyes at all. The voice was of a million voices ranging fromscreeches to wails to moans to whispers, all assaulting the ears at once. He reached out, calling forth Amias's spear and allowing the shadows of his blood to engulf and upgrade the weapon. This favor, for your obediance, he would say before the lights flickered in the room, and the man was gone as if he never was there in the first place.

Makoto always found Nocturne a bit refreshing. It was the sort of place, especially in this blighted city, where the paranoia clawing at the back of her eyeballs was actually justified. She stuck out like a sore thumb here. That said, it was also a place where the people most likely to be hunting her would also stick out. Plus, it was one of only two places on the planet that Aramil would think twice about taking extreme actions to get their way. Top it off with good drinks, good parties, and plenty of diversions. She could easily come up with worse places to hide out, even if this wasn't a great place for an extended stay. Her gloved fingers made tiny little clunks as she wrapped them around a glass, raising the drink to her lips as she looked out from the casino bar. It was a s**t place to hide, what with all the cameras, but it had its advantages. First and foremost that it was, in a way, neutral ground. When everyone just wanted to be left alone to enjoy Nocturne's beloved vices, and every move was watched, a lot of the trash kept their hands to themselves.
