Noa reacted very quickly, unsheatening her katana and kodachi in unision and slashed through all the pieces of wood that were coming at her, at high speed. She pulled of her short cloak and started to put out the pieces that were about to start another fire in the area.
'' Don't get cocky with fire, you imbecile! You do realise this is a forest city that will burn with fire? Do not think lightly of you skills and act with care. Otherwise I refuse to teach you anything!'', Noa scolded her student. What the heck had gotten into the girl? She could have burned the whole place down. Noa had received a similar scolding from Lady Kora when she was first starting her journey as citizen of Kusana, and had nearly set fire on the Random Clearing.
''I'll teach you a save skill then'', Noa said as she started to demonstrate. She did not know the skill herself, but it was an easy one. She bet she could do it in one try, given that she was working with fire for quite some time now. She summoned Fire daggers to shoot in one direction. Running past them, Noa positioned her in the way of the daggers and summoned a fire to deflect the projectiles. The fire extinguished afterwards.( 1/1)
'' This techniuqe is called Flame deflection and will only work against fire skills. The other one is called Fire dagger. You may only try at that one if you manage to pull off the Flame deflection. Let's see if you can do that'', Noa said, as she summoned Fire daggers again and send them at Jocelyn. They wouldn't do that much damage, and she was pretty sure the girl could deflect from them. If not, she would feel what fire could do to someone and maybe think twice before she used it. Noa had never used fire skills on other persons than men and lycan.

Jocelyn's back stiffened as the women with red hair called her an imbecile, she was not an idiot by any means..the fact that she let her powers loose in a matter was only a misconception of power..thankfully the women was there to stop anything bad from happening.
Trying to take deep calming breaths and not saying anything to the women, in fear that her own temper might cause her to get out of line..she decided to go for the other moves. Flame dagger, and flame deflection. She felt her anger bubbling to the surface, a perfect way to fuel the fire that burned inside her..and soon outside of her. She called flame to her hands again and shot them in the air (Fire Ball) giving them enough juice to sustain the fall back down to Earth, she willed more fire to her hands and shot them above her head, watching the fire ball hit her..somewhat of a shield..the deflection of fire that she had called up. (1/1)
(Flame Deflection Learned)
She did not glance at the women..still peeved at her comment as she went for flame dagger...Jocelyn would use them on her hands first..making them look like daggers..As she formed the fire once more, she focused on it..letting her anger guide her to more power..the flames grew as her energy quickly depleted..at the last minute she slammed her hands out twords the fire as she made an angry cry..the pull of energy that came when she finally released the flame daggers almost knocked her on her a**..but as she stood standing she saw the daggers slam into the already burning wood of the bonfire. It toppled in on itself as black ashes went up in a plume around the two women. (1/1)

Holding out her hand she caught large flakes of ashes in her hand...quickly turning them black as she squeezed her hands shut. She shook her head as they fell out...she could not see but she had a feeling that her hair was quickly turning to black.
She looked at the women who was teaching her this dangerous Art and gave a weak smile..acknowledging that fire element was indeed the most deadliest..capable of killing someone within seconds..capable of causing destruction and mayhem anywhere it goes..she would need to be careful and not let words get to her so much..anger could be used as much of a deadly weapon as fire could.
She was pretty sure that she was at the end of her rope for learning fire techniques..her energy was pretty close to low. ((I put that last part in because I learned all the basic moves..I can learn one C rank..but im not sure what I want to learn first..but I think im going to wait a little bit learn them. Perhaps some character development after this? I do want to rank up with her fairly soon so maybe you can help me there? Go out and do a mission or two with me..or at least gide me on them? Idk up to you =] )) ((Oh and the fire is still burning..just when it collapsed in on itself its not such a high stacked pile razz ))

Liliana walked quietly into the area, observing the two girls learning fire techniques. Her own fire sparked within her to see others using it. But she quelled her own flames to walk over to them. "Hello. Doing fire instruction?"

A small smile appaered around Noa's lips. The girl was very, very similar to her, getting all carried away with fire skills. And she also used anger to power it. Just like Noa. Only Noa had learned how much anger she could fuel in it without setting things and places on fire. She guessed Jocelyn would learn that soon enough.
She was about to talk to Jocelyn again, when Liliana entered the place. She remembered the mage from the random clearing, where the tournament was held. She had some connection to Alik. Maybe she was going to scold her for chopping off his hand? Noa straightened her back and was ready to yell back at the woman when she just kindly said hello. Suspicious as she was, Noa kept her guard.
'' Yes, a little. Though it seems we have gotten as far as we can get now. Is the tournament already progressing into the next round? I thought you would be watching it'', Noa said, keeping her tone normal.
(( character development is fine with me! I may have time to do some simple missions in the city itself, since the tournament is still going on and I have to be able to go there if I have to fight again.))

Jocelyn took note of Noa's almost instant change of attitude..it went from teaching b***h, to stone cold face b***h...guarding her emotions in almost what seemed like a mask..was she guarding herself? Jocelyn did not know the women enough to trust her..no..not yet, but she also did not know this new women, and Noa's instant reaction made her own guard go up..she didint trust Noa at her back yet so Jocelyn decided to back up to stand directly next to her, it was only instinctual to be wary of newcomers, she would wait until the twos conversation got underway or until she was addressed to speak. Obviously this women was someone important..someone to be feared? She did not know..she would have to wait and see.
Mood: Determined
Thoughts: "I need to grow stronger . " (( Ok biggrin sounds good to me...the queen is with my sister i.e me..my other rpc the "Mage" so I will have to see Draco about ranking up =] ))

Liliana smiled, shaking her head. "No, the second fight only just started. It looks like it will be a while before my turn is called. Though I do know about Alik's injury from the fight. Unfortunate that it was, he survived so there's no foul on your part." Sitting down, she pooled her power into the bonfire, making the flames jump and dance for the girls to watch. "I have always held a close spot in my heart for the cleansing and consuming power of Fire. It's so much more pure than some of the other things in the world." The fire wasn't able to burn anything while she played with it, so the girls were treated to a small show of flaming sprites dancing around the circle. "More pure than some of the men I've met at least," she added with a sigh.

She looked upon the flames around her. 'How is she doing that? Who is this women? Is she to be feared? Should I put my guard down?' these where the thoughts that where going through her head, she was not sure if she should speak to the women or hold her tongue and let Noa talk...Jocelyn has just come into her abilities persay..this women..although not a seasoned warrior..had the feel about her not to be trifled with...maybe..maybe she was not the physical of sort..maybe she delt with magic..maybe she was a mage? This made her head spin even more...what has she gotten herself into?

As the flames danced, she smiled. It was always amusing to hear a person's first thoughts about her. You haven't gotten into anything yet, my dear, she mentally told Jocelyn. If you mean me no harm, then you have no reason to fear me. So just relax. I am Liliana, Seer Arch-Mage of The Spire. You don't have to tell me who you are. I already know.

Jocelyn tried to keep the look of shock off of her face but failed, "Did you just..." she said outloud
~Read my mind?~ She asked in her head, awaiting the women's reply..if in fact there was a reply. She was fairly new to all of this, but nothing really surprised her anymore..not from what she has been told lately. ~I mean you no harm~ she though..seeing if she could project her words into the women's mind..she felt silly..mind reading? She only heard of tales of such things happening.

Good. Then you have no reason to fear me. And yes. Mind reading is not a tale of fancy. I can do it and there are other seers in the world as well who can. Not to my extent, I believe but close enough, she mentally told her. It seemed there were still those who managed to have the luxury of sheltered lives.

Noa's heart lightened at Liliana's comment. '' Men are all foul. They cannot be trusted at all. They can never be ''pure'', ever'', Noa said, as she folded her arms. Something was going on with this Liliana girl. Jocelyn had been mirroring her moves untill Liliana had done something to her. It escaped Noa's skills to see what. She wondered why it hadn't been done to her, since she was just as suspicious to Liliana as Jocelyn
'' Too bad I wasn't allowed to kill him'', Noa said.

''Even tools need to be trusted, and I am not giving my trust to any men alive'', Noa said, as she sat down beside Liliana. She motioned for Jocelyn to sit as well.'' How would you propose I take advantage of men? Because I do like that idea very much''. It could be, taking revenge on those rotten beings. She could extract vengeance on even greater scale if she could do that. She could even lure out the enemy of her heart, she was nothing like the person he left blooded in that house.

Jocelyn gave a slight smile, and decided to speak more directly mind to mind with the women. ~This women..Noa...she shares so much hatred for men..I even picked up on it the first few words we shared.~ She felt chills go up her arms from the thoughts she was getting to.
~I wonder..I wonder if what happened to her is what almost happened to me..I was under the guidance of one of the teachers in kranilla..he let me be one of his students play thing...he watched as my free will was taken..I won't ever forgive him or the man..the boy that did it, I to almost journeyed down that path as noa..of the hatred of men..but I to was also saved by one..~ she smiled as she thought of Katsuro..of the kiss they shared before he left to go back to his nation, in goals of being a guardsmen..she thought about his soft lips..the smell of his scent. She looked up to see the seer looking at her with a smile.
~I know I should be wary of you..words to me have proven faulty with no action to back them up....but..but I have this urge..this urge to trust you.~ she left off looking the women directly in the eyes.

"The best way to get them hooked is right here," she said while tapping her lips. "If you would like a demonstration, I can have my pet find me someone to show you." Her mind listened to what Jocelyn was thinking. I personally don't hate men. And you don't need to if you are more in control of yourself than they are of your emotions. And what kind of action are you looking for?
