"Itwasn'tfilledwithcacti!!" The male snapped, turning to glare at her. "It was one stupid cactus in the garden alright?! It was an accident!"

"Fine...whatever.." Jane sighed. "Come back inside so I can finish patching you up, John. Please. ...Once I'm finished, we can curl up by the fire and you can get some rest...alright?"

John let out a rather vicious growl, but trudged back inside anyway. "Fine...." Sighing, he walked back to his bed next to the fire and flopped into it.

Jane smirked slightly at her conquest of the situation. John was so easy to manopulate. She loved that about him. Wiping away the smug grin, she followed her mate into the cave. Retrieving the bucket, she attempted to resume her cleaning duties.

John growled, but made no real effort to keep Jane from cleaning his wounds.
Cypher glanced over at the two, studying them for a moment before returning to his work.

Jane quickly washed his fur, returning it to its natural, though damp, soft silky state. Once finished, she settled next to him, nuzzling her cold nose into the back of his neck a bit.

The fire feeling good to his damp fur, the male quickly slipped into a rather drowsy state. Opening his maw in a long yawn, the black pup snuggled into his white counterpart and shut his eyes, settling in for a nap.
Nearby, Cypher kept glancing at the two, never stopping work on his machine.

Jane smirked down at her mate lovingly. As the feeling of being watched slowly overwhelmed her, she turned to glance at Cypher. Just what was that thing he was working on anyways?

John's breathing became steady as he fell asleep, lulled there by the fire and the warmth of his mate.
Cypher looked at her a moment before quickly turning away and resuming work on his machine. It was an odd looking thing...mostly box shaped, with random bits of metal coming off it in various places. One would struggle to think if it even actually did anything, or if it was just a random piece of junk he had thrown together.

Jane watched the male go about his work. Was it a weapon perhaps? Or a shelter? Just how did this talaye have so much wisdom of strange things anyway? Her clear eyes searched the male's form for answers, eventually falling upon those dizzying wings of his. She lay next to her mate, staring at Cypher as his wings momentarily mesmorized her.

Even Cypher himself had no idea where his ideas came from, random pieces of information and ideas always worming their way into his dreams. Every day he awoke with new ideas, new things to test out, and no idea where they were coming from...
The dizzying wings gave a small flap, the green symbols shimmering in the light provided by the fire.

Jane shook her head, snapping out of the trance. Ah well. It didn't much matter where his knowledge came from so long as they could use it to their advantage. Yawning slightly, the female pup lay her head down on her mate's neck, settling in for a quick nap. Her lids slowly closed over her eyes as she drifted into a sweet slumber.

Cypher worked long after the other two had fallen asleep, the idea in his head too stubborn to leave him be, his only choice was to finish it first before resting.
A few hours later, the black pup stirred slightly underneath Jane, maw opening in a long yawn.

Jane twitched slightly but gave no other sign that she had felt John's movement. Her light snore indicated that she was still asleep.

John glanced sleepily over at Cypher, whom was still working on the now larger contraption. Giving another yawn, the male nuzzled his mate gently, trying to wake her up.
