Happy Belated V-Day. I hope it wasn't too dull. I worked, but I haven't gone to the sales that occur frequently, but I get off work in time to check 'em out.

Its not at all too dull for me, but then again This debating thread might have something to do with it!

Its the Black Throne of Kronos from the CHB meta-series up against the Fairy Tale Organization from Rosario + Vampire, I might have to wonder if Mahoutokuro might make a witty comment in regards to the Yokai Academy walls if they ever mentioned that place, actually.

In terms of overall Power outputs in general, Yukari's and Ruby Tojo's people seem closer to Potter-world residents in that regard, but genetically speaking they'd be about at least as abnormal as the Veela-blooded residents for the same kind of reasons, not beauty related necessarily either.
Just the Supernatural blood that's the case even via either world's standards actually.

I've read very little of Rosario vampire and know only the basics..the necklace keeps the threat at bay. I've never even heard of Black throne. I assume if it's being debated, there's a a supernatural or fantasy theme surrounding it.

Also what's concrete as well is how much in the way of Irony Tiers would Homura have to lampshade when it comes to residents like Yukari Sendo and Ruby Tojo, actually.

The Black Throne of Kronos is rumored to have had the indirect backings of the Witch Goddess Hekate if that sounds familiar to you.

Meantime, have you encountered promising new members, thus far?

Eh,..all the people I know would prefer to play the MMO or happen to be busy with real life. Or videogames apparently. I know a fantasy RP'er but she's addicted to Etrian adventure so far and has been nice enough to make those of us she frequently talks to members of her party. I broke a drowning spell and brought back valuables after falling overboard and not coming back to the ship, apparently.

I've briefly considered visiting the guild forum, but in my past visits, 90% is all advertising. That's not really helping me. >.< '

I recognize the name Hekate, but off the top of my head, I assume Norse, shakespeare(and wherever he stole it from), or Wiccan. I could do a search I'm sure, but I'm just not in the mood to do so at the moment.

There's a new start-up guild I was invited to if you wanted one more responsibility on your plate. It's re-opened, and while it looks appealing, I'm sure those targeted have an inclination to draw or RP. A lot of those in the introduction thread have the same hobbies; Video games, art, Rp's, and leadership roles. Someone in the thread stated they were inviting specific gaians, but I looked at mine..it says individuals and what the guild can benefit from by those gaians joining it. :S
EDIT: My spelling is **** at the moment. Gotta find a new book series. >.<

'Fraid not. I don't play myself and will safely assume it's a Solo player PC game with multi-player potential.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot, but if the guild doesn't improve within the next 2 months or so, I'll probably leave. I'd found a book by Riordan that wasn't any part of any series(to my knowledge at least), but I'll consider it. I'd always found the concepts of Disc World interesting, even though I've never read the series myself. Perhaps I'll hunt that series down. Gotta be in paperback by now, and I don't do digital reading.

The Wiccan thing then. I knew she stood for something, but I never did bother looking into what. About the time I was interested, I was actually practicing my tarot card reading, so I suppose Hekate lost to Death and The Tower. XD

That sounds interesting.

The Lightning Thief is the first novel in the two series that started it all and is basically where we began the knowledge on what we know on the CHB sub-forums in fact.
Trust me, no disappointment will come of it.
We will do what we must to expand on improvements, in this regard you may fear not.
Although one of us will have to PM Twihard to return ASAP because otherwise I may have to bring in my User!-namesake to recall that one time when he nearly killed quite a lot of our party members who were there during the war, actually. (Not the ones that just arrived since that happened 5-6 years ago but the ones that fought in it is all!)

Kind of odd, considering how connected with Magic she is, I guess Magic in general wasn't the style of Greeks in general any more than it was the style of the old Scandinavian Vikings, I guess.
(Circumstances are as different as the cases of the Elder Scrolls between the Redguards and the Nords actually, considering that the Vikings inspired the latter group for sure!)
