Zeke's eyes widened. "A-Alex!? What happened!? What's wrong!?" He never heard Alex cry, not even when he moved away.

"I can't say." Alex whispered as he pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped a free arm around them. "You'll hate me forever."

Zeke gasped softly. "Alex, you know me. It's hard for me the hate anything, much less a person. And this is you we're talking about Alex. I love you. How could I possibly hate you?"

"Cause I did something horrible. I-i don't know why I did it." Alex said his words barely audible he was crying so hard.

Zeke was silent for a moment. "That's it. I'm coming up there."

Zeke felt uneasy. He could never deny Alex. Thus, being asked to say he hated him, it felt strange. "Alex, come on...you're being silly. It's impossible for me to hate you!" He sighed. "You make it sound like you had some sort of affair!"

Alex cried harder at the truth. "please..say you hate me." Alex begged his voice hoarse from crying. Jakiel didn't want him and now Zeke was going to hate him when he learned he slept with someone else

Zeke paused for a moment. "You really want me to say it, don't you?" Something really bad must have happened. Especially if he thinks I would hate him. No way...did he really have an affair? "... ...Alex? Was it your new friend?" Another pause. "Fine then. I'll say it: 'I hate you.'" He then hung up. "Forget waiting until after mid-terms. I'm going up there THIS weekend."
He walked back downstairs and saw Terry. He put on a calm face, then smiled. "Yo, ready to go home?" He held up an umbrella.

Alex curled up on the bench and sobbed. He wished he was home but he knew his parents would be there and he would never get any peace and quiet. He hung up his phone and shivered lightly from the cold. Why were things so tough?
"Ready." Terry said smiling. he stood up and walked top the door, opening it and waited for Zeke to walk out.

Zeke nodded. He stepped outside and opened the umbrella, waiting for Terry to step under it. "Hey, this weekend, I need to leave town for a bit. So I won't be able to play any games with you. Sorry. It's an emergency."
Jakiel looked over at his clock. It was digital, the red numbers bright and glaring. He sighed and sat up. "Dammit. I must be a fool..." He walked upstairs and ran into his mom. "Where are you off to in such a hurry?" "...To reconcile with someone I've hurt." Without allowing his mother to answer him, he grabbed a jacket and an umbrella before dashing out the door into the rain.
After a bit of searching, he found Alex curled up at a bus stop. He was hesistant at first, then he simply walked up. Then, as gently as possible, he put the heavy jacket around Alex's shoulders. He said nothing.

"That's alright." Terry said as he walked under the umbrella with Zeke smiling still.
Alex looked up at Jakiel with pain filled eyes. "I-I had to tell Zeke." Alex said softly. he looked back down as he cried

Zeke nodded. "Thanks, Terry." He then walked the younger boy home. I do hope...Alex is alright...
Jakiel sighed. "So you did, huh?" He then picked Alex up bridal style. "That's it, you're coming with me. You're obviously in no condition to go home. I'll make up an excuse for your parents later." He carried Alex to the delapidated building rather than back to his house. "At least it's warm here."

Terry waved by to Zeke once they got to his house. "See you tomorrow." Terry said and walked inside

Jakiel sighed. "You don't know that for sure." He handed Alex a hot mug of cocoa. Then he wrung out the water in his hair. "Just...drinked that an rest, okay?" He sat down on another couch and lay down.
Zeke waved Terry good-bye and returned home. When he did, his mom and sis were back. "Hey, mom, I'm going somewhere on the weekend. So I won't be home." His mom gave him a weird look. "To visit Alex?" "Yes. Something's wrong." "Oh my, okay then. Be careful dearie!"
