A thousand thoughts raced though Ayame's mind. She could have said anything. There were so many things she wanted to say; was tempted to say at the very least. In the end, she settled with a politely cool "What does it matter to you? It's not important." Her eyes were also like chips of blue-green ice; the color of the sea right before the hurricane. She was sick of acting like someone she was not around this girl. She wanted to always be Ayame. Not sometimes. Just always. She took a few steps forward. "What happened. And don't give me any 'it's not my business sh*t'. I was just pulled into this, sadly against my will. If it affects Sho, then yes, it is my business." She said, rising so that she was still kneeling on the ground, but could look up at Myka without feeling like a child.

Balling and unballing her fists in her pockets, Myka looked at Ayame and tilted her head. "It is your business. You've known him far longer than I have. He's nothing short of a brother to you." she replied. She walked back towards Ayame, and stared straight into who she thought or wished was her friend's eyes. "Brothers aren't supposed to hit their sisters." she replied. Myka sighed softly and kicked her toe into the front of her shoe gently, making the fit a little more comfortable. Myka sighed and closed her eyes. "We got into an argument. A fairly heated argument at that. We both walked away. I cried, he hit you. Apparently, I took it better than he did." Myka replied. She put a ginger hand up to her face to see if the tears continued to fall, and fortunatly, they didn't. Myka then turned her head to the girl. "Yes, it is your fault you have a short temper. The fact that you aknowledge it and still do not change just shows how much a child you are, and how much you have to learn. Also, it's impolite to speak to one when they are speaking to another." she stated simply to the girl, completly dismissing her.

Ayame laughed slightly and raised a hand to her cheek. "That's not quite what happened. When he came back to the Cabin...I thought he was going to hurt the next person who so much as breathed the wrong way. I didn't want that to happen; it's better that he takes his anger out on someone who knows him and can handle it as opposed to someone who doesn't know him and wouldn't understand. You're right; he is like a brother to me." She closed her eyes and opened them again, trying to find the right words. "So, I know when something is bothering him." She turned slightly and looked at Myka, blue-green eyes finding hazel eyes, the ice and fire in them exactly the same. "You are too much alike; as I'm sure you already know." She said softly. "But, please, can't you just..." She trailed off and sighed. "Never mind. I won't be cruel enough to say 'try' with him." She glanced slightly at the other, new girl, her face expressionless. "You are suffering." She said simply to Kio. "I'm sorry. But this does not have anything to do with you. Please leave." Her tone was politely firm.

Myka listened intently when Ayame told her tale. She closed her eyes for a moment before reopening them with a vengance. She ignored Kio, more of her attention on Ayame. She offered a sad smile. "So much alike it's painful. she replied. Myka shook her head and took her hands out of her pocket to fold her arms across her chest. She shifted her weight a few times as she thought. "Can't I what? Honestly, I'd love to know." she told Ayame, genuine curiosity in her eyes. Beyond the curiosity, there was a thin line of something like care. Like she really, desperatly wanted to do something to help.

"Can't you just talk to him? Please?" Ayame's voice was barely more than a whisper. "I don't really know anything about his past life." She rested her chin on her knees. "I know he doesn't like it here, and that he hates being able to 'read' people's minds. He wants to be accepted by his God parent, and he just wants to prove himself. But at the same time; I feel like there's something holding him back from all this." She hesitated, then continued. "Even though I think we are very close, he still distances himself from me. All that joking around we do, it's just that. A joke, all for show." Her lips curved into a bitter smile at the slight play on words. "I just want to see him happy." She laughed slightly again, though her eyes sparkled with tears. "Knowing him, that's an impossible wish."

Belleth walked by the two girls and looked them in the eyes and could tell there was alot of emotion in this.since belleth couldnt read minds...and her ich of strong curiousity."wuts going on i sence alot of emotion her"belleth was carrieing her rag doll close to her.u could see the curiousoty in her eyes.
