"He," Maka instantly corrected. She didn't even have to think about it. For self protection, she made sure not to tell anyone that Ickz was a woman. "And...he's..." Maka bit her lip. "...He thinks my hair is frivolously long. I'm not sure he'll take well to you." Maka sighed. "He might ask you to prove yourself. Ah, here's the camp." Maka slowed to a jog, and waved at a man she knew by the name of Tenn. "Tenn! Tenn!" She approached him and stopped. He was maybe two inches taller than her. "Tenn, do you know where the general is?"

Tenn shook his head. "We went to attack a group of terrorists, he called us off and told us to come back here. But he didn't come with us."

Maka glanced around. "Do you think he'll be back soon? It's really important, the terrorists might strike Tinto again, and we need his help to defend it..."

Tenn shook his head. "Sorry, nothing doing. You'll just have to wait." He gave a small bow, then walked away.

Maka kicked a rock. "Dammit!"

By the time Tak reached Schloop, it had been five minutes, and the prince(along with his bodyguard) were long gone. She turned to Schloop. "Schloop! What happened?"

Schloop turned to Tak and snapped into a salute. "Sir, the king's personal assassin came and took them to the Tinto prison, sir!" He beamed. "I was told not to touch the sword, sir, so I'm making very sure to not touch it, sir!"

Tak eyed the sword with suspicion, then reached out and touched it, feeling the pain of the blue lightning. She grimaced, but took it in her hand and sheathed it. "We better go to the prison, too. The prince will be missing this." She smirked, despite the pain going through her arm. She threw the sheathed sword into the bag that Schloop carried and took it off his shoulders. That was enough protection from it.

Tak could hear the other terrorists coming for the prince. She glanced towards Schloop. Her and him, against them. He was thirteen, and too young to die by her standards. She wrinkled her nose in disgust at retreating again, but realized there was nothing for it. "Schloop, we better get going."

Schloop saluted, and they both took off running towards Tinto, the bag bouncing against Tak's hip as they went.

"Hm, I see...then shall we focus on the task on hand?" As Renka turned his had back to where they were headed he saw two of the girls from before, the princes' aid and an archer, he went to the closer one, the archer.. he didn't think that other girl would want to see his face if the prince wasn't there.
Renka felt the girl's pulse, which was steady and strong, and her breathing, which was alright as well. "..there aren't any obvious wounds...I think she's just sleeping.." he said to Bjorn.





When she finished tending to the few she could, Sei wandered around and spotted the girl from before..she looked angry about something..so Sei walked over to her as she kicked a rock, "Well now, what's got you so upset miss?" Her voice and mannerism were sweet and caring, opposite of her actual nature.

"Sorry." Mira shook her head Maka kept switching unconsciously between he and she so Mira didn't know which. Mira tilted her head, "Test me?" She'd fought Tassr several times and those small trees he swung at her had hurt a lot. In thought she touched her side where he'd got her a couple months ago, for an old guy he was pretty fast. She occupied herself by getting her guantlets and greaves in place. She was testing if they were on properly when Maka temper flared,
"Dammit!"
Mira quickly patted Maka's head and was about to say calm down when another woman came up to them. Saying in a sweet practiced voice.
"Well now, what's got you so upset miss?"

Tassr found the Doctor caring for wounded who would make it. Only a occasional whimper came from the area. Tassr looked around and saw almost a third of the men from before were gone. He shook his head whispering, "May you find peace in Shigami's hands." Tassr walked up to the doctor who had just finished with a soldier. "Uhm Doctor..."
