She was quite content with her new position, sure it was not the Oinin position she hoped for, but she thought this was way better and more useful. (( I didn't notice XD I'll go there right away))

 Giro noticed Kageko watching him and quickly stood up. "S-Sorry, Mr. H-Hokage, but I think I should l-leave now," he said softly. Whatever is causing my hand to glow, it can't be good, he thought. Then he quickly walked out of the room and out the building. Then he ran to the apartments.

Kageko watched as Giro walked out of the room, and followed him, mouthing to Vincente, "Stay here," before walking out. As soon as she was a fair distance from the office, she started running as well, seeing Giro dash towards the apartments from one of the windows she passed. Figuring that she might lose him otherwise, Kageko opened a window once she was on the second story and jumped out of it, heading toward the apartments as well. She hadn't really known Giro for that long, but she already considered him a friend, and the last thing she was going to do was let a friend deal with something potentially dangerous by himself or herself.
(OOC: And now I head towards the apartments whee .)

Giro arrived at the Hokage Building and quickly made his way towards the Hokage's office. When he got there, he entered the room. "Sorry for running off like that, sir. I had to take care of something," he said softly. Then he sat down in a chair and waited for the Hokage to announce who his sensei would be.

Kageko arrived at the hokage's office later than Giro, due to the fact that she was dragging her bigger, and heavier, friend behind her. As she approached the hokage's office, she tried to make herself less noticeable and, leaving Vincente next to a wall to day-dream as much as he wanted, stationed herself in an inconspicuous corner as she waited hesitantly for her squad assignment.

Giro then turned his attention to the newcomer. He seemed to be a chuunin. Is he going to be my sensei? he thought. Then he turned his attention back to the Hokage.
