 LienaEver silent in her entrances, Liena appeared behind the Gallade with the softest 'crack' of a teleport. Her hands were clasped in front of her and a frown was on her face as she immediately let her gaze fall on Mercy. "I think we need to talk..."There was really too much going on lately for them to be fighting over such petty things.

 MercutioMercutio opened his eyes as he heard the soft voice, staring off into the dusk.
"... We do. But what do you want me to say?" He replied gently.
"That I'm sorry? That I'm an idiot who deserves every kind of horrific punishment? Because it's all true..."
Bowing his head, he stared at his own black arms.
"I insulted you, I snapped at my sister, and I led the guild into a slaughter. I deserve nothing less than death..."
The sad thing is, with all his Agency training, this was truly what he believed to be a suitable consequence for his actions.

You made it clear you weren't good at social interactions and I still tested you..."She frowned, reaching up both hands to smooth the ribbons in her hair in a nervous gesture. "And your wrong, the guilds will need you now more than ever after what happened. Sure, you made a mistake but we all do at one point."She lowered her arms to clasp in front of her lap as she took a few steps closer. "Your sister especially is going to need your support and...and so am I."

"... Pokemon should know better than to depend on me..." He said softly.
"Even in the Agency, the only Pokemon I was allowed to be in charge of was Lucinda. He had no faith in me..."

Liena"Shut up." The female said sharply, hands on her hips. Her earlier sympathy was gone now, replaced with annoyance that he was still sulking. "Everyone makes mistakes. The best thing you can do is move on and learn from them. Whining out here won't FIX anything and neither will giving up! I thought you were brave...noble even, when I first met you. Now look at you."Her hands went up to fold across her chest, golden eyes narrowed into slits. "You aren't the Mercutio I know...your some whiny, little punk who looks like him."She turned away, preparing to stalk off.

Mercutio"They made it very clear, Liena!" Mercutio suddenly snapped.
With a flash, he was standing on the ground.
"I ******** up. They told me to never lead again. I'm a soldier, I'm no good at anything else!"
Crossing his arms, he lowered his head.
"Pokemon lately have made it obvious that I should just shut my mouth and kill whoever they tell me to kill. Nobody wants me for anything else..."

Liena"Quit whining and do something about it then!" The female snapped back, turning sharply to face him. "Prove to them your good enough!" She raised a hand, jabbing a finger into his chest. "Stop taking it like a whipped dog!"

MercutioThe Gallade stepped back and sighed as he was poke.
She was right, and he knew it.
"How?" He asked simply.
"I doubt they'll ever give me another chance after the way I ******** up. My best hope is to get on Alfred's good side, and Arceus how I despise that guy..."
It was a law of the universe.
The brother-in-law despised the groom.

Liena"You haven't heard have you then?"Liena asked, voice dropping to a near whisper. That would explain why he was out here sulking. He didn't know what had just occurred. "The guilds were all attacked. We lost a lot of the higher ranked members and the 'guy you despise' had Suecra ripped out of him and is probably going to die from it. Your sister NEEDS you. Badly."The Gardevoir's anger slowly dwindled now that she didn't see Mercy as just being a selfish whiner. He was still a whiner, but at least he wasn't doing it under the same knowledge he had now.

MercutioA look of shock flew across the Gallade's face.
"... What?"
How could something like this happen during his time of solitude?
"When I'm at the guild, terrible s**t happens! When I'm not there, worse s**t happens!"
He clenched his fists, staring at the ground.
"... No, she doesn't need me. She needs more than that right now... If Alfred's out of commission, that means she's leader of the Rebirth Guild. I can't come barging in and breaking her focus."
Again, Agency training at play.
"For now, I just need to support her on the sidelines..."

LienaLiena shrugged, she didn't know Lucinda enough to know if she needed moral support of people to 'leave her the hell alone'. So she'd go with what Mercy said. It was HIS sister after all. "Then I suggest you find some other way to prove yourself. Why not pester that old Scyther Alfred is friends with."Apparently EVERYONE bugged him for advice lately. [Haha, 'bugged'...cause...cause he's a...nevermind.]

"My ego can wait," Was his response.
"For now, I guess I need to try my best to help out the attacked guilds. And, more importantly, you..."
