White_crow2408 eek What is up with that? Snow? In the summer? Snow in an Australian Summer...now that's just beyond weird...and I live here for goodness' sake! Also, would you all be so kind as to send some healing energy to my best friend...she's getting her tonsils out tomorrow...I think I'm more worried than her mother...

Quite good now, still in a lot of pain, but she can breathe so much easier now that her tonsils aren't blocking her air passage.

I can imagine. I had mine removed when I was about six, but that was because I kept getting ear infections.

Oh, my! An ear infection?
I've gone deaf once, somehow, and it turned out to be allergies. However that happend... I know that I couldn't hear the stero in my stepfather's truck, which is always on +30 or something like that. Scarey... neutral

I was partially deaf as a child because of how often I got ear infections. I got them constantly because my tonsils weren't allowing my ears to drain properly, and all that fluid kept getting infected.

Yeah, it was no fun to say the least. It's been a while since my last one thankfully. I go in as soon as I start to lose hearing or get any pain because I still get them somewhat frequently, though the reason is different now. As a diabetic I'm more prone to infection, and one of my body's favorite infections is of the ear variety it seems, heh.

I hate getting colds. One time I had a cold and all I could to was lay in bed and try to breath. My head felt all floaty (if that's a word, lol), walking was like a dreamful sensation, and I felt groggy all day. At some point, my mother woke me up and told me I wasn't breathing in my sleep! eek

I had a new bracket put on my teeth today...the orthodontist had to wedge it in under my gum...pain...
