Matthew had started to follow the others in their actions. Locating a few children, he carefully led them towards the others.

Oomizu looked up to Matthew and smiled. "Thank you for your help, Mattie-kun." She saw a little girl crying in the corner of the church and stood up, running over to her and picking her up and proceeded to try and calm her down, but with little luck. She walked back over to the circle with her and looked worriedly up to Matthew. "Do you think you can calm her down? You have a pretty calm and quiet voice... Maybe it'll help."

"Oh! Hey Tony!" Bunko exclaimed with a wave, before smiling back towards Al. "Revolution? Huh, you must've come from a strange Earth then..." She then glanced at the soldiers who were paid to exterminated the 'cursed ones'. She was of such a class, in the literal state too. She grew up in an orphanage that dealt in the matters of children developing unholy powers. Luckily, before it was destroyed, she escaped and found Lum and Roy Mustang, who adopted her and gave her a safe place to call home. There was one boy (*coughcough* Maverick! *coughcough*) that escaped with her, whom she remembered as being her 'brother' there, but she hadn't seen him since, and figured that he was dead by then. "Sorry, but I'm a Quasar-native, and this sort of thing... it's like everyday life at this point..."
Toph soon came upon Luka beating a soldier with her whip. She quickly shed her metal armor before she bent it so the man would be trapped inside of it, sort of like a metal cage, but solid. "Hey, you... uh... Girl!" She exclaimed, not really being the best with names and such. "We're trying to destroy these guys, not just beat them lightly!"
Kratos used his shield to block the bullets before grabbing a small potion from the pouch that he wore at his side, sending it into a group of soldiers before a puff of smoke burst out of the capsule, causing them all to keel over (not-dead), unconscious.

As he settled a couple down in the circle, the soft spoken blonde looked over to Oomizu as she addressed him. Frowning slightly. "I'll see what I can do." Carefully, he bent over a little to get eye level with the child. Smiling a little he spoke in his usual soft and quiet voice. "Hey there.. my name is Matthew." He set down his hockey stick and looked at the child again. "I know things are really really scary right now, but really soon, we are going to get you out of here.. every one of us." He smiled reassuringly. "Really soon, you will get to be in a warm bed, and this won't happen anymore and everything will be just fine. I promise." He really was trying his best. Unsure how to speak to her, Mattie just hoped that this was making the progress he believed it would. "If you stay in this circle here, you will be safe." This was something he wasn't sure of, but he was going to assume. Bending over he picked up a soft and cuddly Kumajiro. "this is my friend Kumajiro.. He will sit with you and keep you safe if you like."

Alfred tilted her head at her, "A strange Earth? What do you mean?" he really was confused. He pulled the gun up and aimed them at the enemy, blowing a few away before coming back once more to reload. He heard what she said about this being common, and he wished he could tell her that he knew what this was like. He heard about people invading the other person's 'vital regions' regularly. And it always made him shudder. Actually, it made him shudder now too.

The little girl calmed down some, looking to Kumajiro curiously and reaching a hand out to touch the bar quickly before she took her hand back quickly and hugged Oomizu's leg.
Oomizu giggled and patted the girl's head lightly. "Thanks Matthew. Alright little one, why don't you go stand over their with the others."
Luka looked up to Toph and got an annoyed expression. She didn't know just yet she was blind. "I wasn't just lightly beating him. I was making sure he was unconcious before I took his gun since all I have is my whip, and that isn't going to do me a bit of good from a distance." Actually, any one who had actually seen the por guy by the time Toph came around would have seen he was pretty badly beaten within a few seconds.

Bunko took the bow from her back before tugging on the string lightly, glancing away from him to do so. "Uh, nothing... never mind my comment." She then tugged an arrow or two from the quiver before loading one onto her bow. "Hey, you okay? You seem like you were just dipped in a freezing river," She began before she shot the arrow at an enemy, stopping his heart cold. Afterward, she turned towards Al, placing her hand on his forearm. "Can I help you recover?"
Toph strolled up to Luka before she took hold of the girl's cheeks. "You have a strange voice." She stated bluntly, as her personality usually forced her to do. She then began to tug at her cheeks lightly before she patter down her shoulders to her sides. "Huh, you're a strange make, you know that?" She said as she stared into where she thought this girl's eyes were, revealing her stunning opal eyes that shown like two, new pearls.

Alfred shook his head, "No... No I'm fine. Just... I'm fine," he remembered that they had to keep their status as nations a secret. He looked to her hand on his forearm, smiling brightly, "Thank you for your concern." He really, really wanted to spill this secret to someone. But then Mattie and Eliza would be mad at him. And so would Arthur and Francis....

"No problem Al." Bunko said with a light giggle. "You're on Quasar now, with a group whose like family," She began before she shot another arrow at a a gunner who was quickly approaching them. "And because of such connections, like parents who went through this before us, we treat everyone like close companions, lovers, and like I said earlier, family." She was doing her best in trying to reassure him, well her sister was better at it than she was after all.

Spy nodded when waved to, before activating the Cloak and Dagger once again. He hadn't been paying close enough attention, apparently, and had used up all the power. It had recharged now, though. At least now he had an idea of how to be useful; be the lookout. He made his way around the perimeter of the church, careful not to let his device run out of power again.

Luka blushed and looked down in embarrassment. "Strange voice or not, my songs have gotten me to the top of the music charts." Luka felt the strnger girl tug her cheeks. That was pretty annoying, and it make Luka want to hit the girl, but then she remmbered that she was probably on the same side as her and that would not go well with the others. "There is nothing strange about me. I'm pretty normal compared to some."

Alfred leaned over to shoot a few more of the enemy with his gun. He looked up at Bunko, "That's really cool! I know what it's like too. Well, sort of. I have a really big family," and he did, "And we're all related in really odd ways, but we're still there for each other!" Mostly. You know, when they had treaties. "And I'm used to fighting, I've been in a few wars." He laughed a little as he fired the guns once more.

Toph soon let go, her hands up in her surrender-like gesture. "Hey, hey. Don't get all fussy 'cause of me, I was just curious..." She said, knowing all of this because through her sensory sight, she was able to sense the beat of Luka's heart and which emotion she was conveying at the moment, because of the rate the pulse was traveling. "Well, I'm definitely 'not normal'." Toph said with air quotations, before sighing. "Oh! And before I forget, I'm Toph." She said outstretching her hand for Luka to shake. "Sorry for coming on so strong, that's just how I am... And I kinda need to work on that a bit more."
Bunko snickered at a thought she had, but she quickly brushed it away. "So if you're related to all of these different people, don'chu ya know, have a girlfriend or something by now?" She said as she pointed a finger at another few soldiers, freezing them in a block of ice. "I know that you're definitely old enough to be a husband by now, so what, anyone you know could be close to a girlfriend or a -how you say it?- "friend with benefits"?"

Luka looked to the hand and then up to Toph before smiling lightly and taking her hand firmly with a single shake. "Megurine Luka. And don't worry. I respect a strong person. God knows the men I deal with are anything but." She thought back to her panty stealing freinds and rolled her eyes lightly.

From above, a blue ray of energy rained down upon the army. At the source was Grimmjow, smiling like a maniac as he sent one ray after another.
A giant robot with a sword on its back walked through the city, blocking the houses from the tank fire. Inside, Van was on one knee, his sword stabed into the ground covering his hand. He moved it like a controler, working the robot from inside.
