So he pulled through. *Luke could have sworn the last time he saw Luana she told him that Andy died. Maybe she was just scared. She had looked terrible that night. He keeps all this in mind.*

"There's no waymy father could have gotten away with what he did otherwise, so they faked Andy's death. He pulled some strings, got all the paperwork taken care of, even had a funeral. I didn't find out until almost a month later."

"Roger, his father, is the only family he has left. He's my father's best friend and our family's cook, so he lives with us. He knew. The only friends Andy has besides me are Penny and Sam, and now they know too. My mother and grandparents know, and my father has a nurse down there to help him." She looked down at the couch. Well, maybe not, but your dad is. *Luke checks himself. He doesn't want to get into a fight with Luana... not when her friend is still presumably "legally dead". That brings him to his next point. She said her father 'got away with something'.* Why would your dad lie about it?

*Luke's frowning deeply now. Was Luana serious? He's judging everything she's saying: superheroes, super powers, keeping her friend alive through pseudo-science. She's only in 2007.*
