As Deil followed Misuki toward the Ramen shop, he glanced over at her. She seemed to be a little anxious about something, but he couldn`t tell. She`s probably just trying hard to get us to food. he thought, and hoped they would get there soon. In a few more minutes, he heard her call out, and looked ahead to see the stand. He hurried after her, and sat next to her in the booth. They finally had an excuse to be near each other, however that might be their only comfort in the situation. After all, although the two didn`t know (or at least Deil), Hikaru had thought he saw them holding hands not too long ago at dinner. The fit was somewhat tight, due to Deil`s larger size. He looked on with Misuki at the menu, eager to get something to replenish him. He unconsciously looked at the things with beef more than anything else because his body wanted to replace the iron taken from making the dog-tag for Misuki.

Sneering at Deil's last comments before he took off to follow Misuki, Hikaru cursed the comment in his head, but maintained a quiet composure on the outside. 'Hmmph... calling me a suck-up for doing my duty?... maybe next time you can take down a few thugs without being riddled with wounds." The internal comments seemed to do Hikaru good in calming him down, as he fell behind the other two, letting them lead the way as he did what he did best, observed and analyzed. Both Deil and Misuki seemed strangely quiet on the journey and deep in thought. Deil seemed to be constantly checking on her and looking over, and Misuki seemed to do the same, but both never at the same time.

"Come to think of it, they're always side by side. At the restaurant, while travelling, after the fight with the bandits, Misuki was the first to run to Deil... though that's not that suspect. But in the springs, they were sitting side by side. I wonder if perhaps there is something more there. It would make sense... they're always around each other and smiling to one another and such, and I can't fight a sneaking suspicion that I'm somewhat of a third wheel here." Snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Misuki exclaim that she had found the place, Hikaru looked up to see that she was in fact correct this time as he followed them both into the restaurant. Again, his theories seemed to ring true as he watched Deil move into the both next to Misuki, noting that it was somewhat of a tight fit, but manageable.

Hikaru however was happy to have the remaider of the both to himself as he removed his weaponry from his Obi and placed it inside the booth, to his left, next to the window as he looked over the menu. "Damn... not a lick of sushi. I miss Suna already..."... "I'll just have whatever Misuki is having... since I've never bothered with Ramen before, I wouldn't even know where to begin in what there is to order."

As the others made their way to the booth, Misuki smiled behind her menu as Deil slid into the booth next to her. Shifting over to make more room for Deil, Misuki could tell it was going to be somewhat of a tight fit but it was managable and she honestly didn't mind sitting so close to Deil at all. Trying to hold in her blush as Deil leaned over slightly to look at the menu in her hands, Misuki reajusted the position of the menu so that Deil could have a better view of the selections.

Curious as to how Hikaru was doing, Misuki peered over the top of her menu and noticed Hikaru glancing over the menu with a slight look of annoyance. 'Well this is a ramen shop, guess he's not use to the food.' Her suspicions were confirmed a moment later when Hikaru mentioned that he would have the same thing as her. Nodding her head, Misuki decided to get something simple for dinner. Spotting something that sounds appitizing, Misuki decided to suggest it outloud to Hikaru. "Alright then, how does a simple beef ramen with a miso soup base sound Hikaru-kun?"

[Not that it really matters in the end, because Hikaru will figure it all out sooner or later (probably the former), but Deil and Misuki sat at opposite sides of the spring, not side by side]
Deil searched the menu with Misuki for something suitable. For some reason, the owner seemed to have a facination with spicy beef, and the last thing Deil felt like eating was something spicey. However, Misuki had found one relatively un-spicey, and this caught Deil`s interest. He nodded in agreement at her suggestion. "That`s a very good dish. I think I`ll have it as well. If we all order the same thing, it might get here quicker too." Deil kept his arms politely in his lap so that he would not sprawl them all over the table unconsciously, which would cause the other two persons to have considarably less room for themselves. And it worked out well that he had sat with Misuki, because Deil doubted Hikaru could sit next to anyone with those swords taking up that much space.

"That's fine by me." Hikaru responded with a smile at Misuki's suggestion. Anything was as good as anything else to him when he didn't know any better, and the fact that he was still hungry, even after stealing Havik's food made him care what was ordered even less. Not long after Deil made his decision, the waitress came over asking if they had decided what they wanted. Taking the liberty, Hikaru ordered three bowls of the Beef Ramen that Misuki had suggested and some tea as well as the waitress quickly retreated to fill the order.

Looking back up to Deil, he realized that his wounds had stopped bleeding, but still it was strange that he could have so easily shrugged off such a piercing blow to his head. "I've been meaning to ask you this Deil... why is it you allowed those thugs to damage you so badly? You took some deep wounds in that fight, yet you seemed barely phased by it. An average person would have had their head run through by an arrow if they were similarly shot. How is it that you did not suffer the same fate? Was it some kind of special body jutsu?... or are you just THAT tough?"

Deil chuckled at Hikaru`s question, and abruptly stopped because his chest hurt him. To answer the question, he pulled part of the collar of his shirt down to reveal a one inch line of pink skin over his sternum. He then quickly let the shirt pop up. "The reason why I took the blows was because I had little choice. Right before we left, I gave Misuki a gift. I infused most of my chakra into part of my bone, and then gave it to her as a chakra reserve. In hindsight, I could have just done that tonight, but I`m glad she has it. So, while you guys were fighting fresh, I was running on fumes." Maybe now, Hikaru would see why Deil hadn`t made a rebuke to Hikaru`s comment about him being beaten up by common thugs. He hadn`t cared, because Misuki had something to protect herself and others with.

He looked up at the cook, and saw the meal was not near cooked, so he continued. "To answer your second round of questions, I have a bloodline that gives me metal bones. So their weapons were unable to get past my bones, which is what allowed me to take their blows and keep fighting. And why did I never flinch you ask?" He grinned wearily. "Because I was too tired and too focused to notice at the time." He sagged in his chair a little, wishing they would hurry with the food. He needed the iron from the meat to regrow his bone.

At Hikaru's response, Misuki nodded her head to show that she heard his order and turned to wait for Deil's decision. It didn't take long as he decided to have the same thing as the two of them. 'Makes sense, it'll be better if we can all finish up rather quickly and then get a good night's rest. Besides, we still have to find a hotel to stay in for the night.' At the sound of another voice, Misuki snapped out of her thoughts and turned to see a waitress asking them politely for their order. Still regathering her composure, Misuki took a bit too long and Hikaru had just went and took the inicitive to order for all of them. Relaxing in her seat, Misuki focused on the steady beat playing through her headset. Still somewhat paying attention to what was going on at the table, Misuki suddenly tensed up slightly at Hikaru's questions towards Deil. 'I completely forgot about his injuries...he seems fine but...' Sitting back up, Misuki glanced towards Deil worrily as he responded to Hikaru's questions.

Feeling somewhat guilty that she was the cause of the injuries, Misuki began to tap her right hand and foot beneath the table in a nervous manner. 'Should I have stopped him...maybe we shouldn't have split up...thank goodness that it was only a minor wound this time...but what about next time...' Once Deil was finished explaining, Misuki knew that she needed to do something about her emotions, keeping her head down, Misuki tugged lightly on Deil's left sleeve and spoke in a slightly shaky voice. "I think I need some fresh air Deil, can you shift out so I can get out please."

Deil turned to Misuki as he felt her gentle tug, assuming it to be one of her subtle ways of grabbing his attention privately. He eyed her for a moment, catching the shakeyness in her voice that reminded him of their previous trip in the hotsprings. He slid out from the seat, his brain scrambling to find an answer. As far as he could tell, he hadn`t said anything to upset her. Maybe she`s clausterphobic, like Father he thought. His adopted father had been that way, and preferred to eat and sleep outside when the weather permitted. When he slept inside, his breathing was shallow and he constantly flipped. Nightmares were common.

Deil grinned to Misuki, trying to ease her anxiety if the clausterphobia was the case. "Take your time. I`ll come get you when the food`s ready."He said, and extended a hand to help her out of the booth.

Leading the way to the Ramen shop with the two young Genin in tow, Kage walked into the restaurant confidently as the waiters immediately attended to her. Though it was true that Konoha was fair to everyone, special treatment, or at least honor was still given to the select few to have reached the rank of Sannin or Kage. As such, Kage was used to such treatment, and to the heads which turned to look at her wherever she went. She brushed it all off with a wide smile however as she led the way to the back of the restaurant. In apssing, she noted the group of her Suna students and waved to them with a smile, happy to see that they were finding their way around so easily, but walked past them quickly as she led the others to a secluded, more private table, motioning for the other Genin to sit across the table from her as she ordered some tea to start.

"Feel free to ask for whatever you like. I run a tab here since I like it so much, so your meals will be on me. I think it's best to be comfortable when discussing such matters, so I prefer to do business here sometimes. So tell me a little about yourselves first off... I do apologize, but I'm not quite so sure I truly recognize you both."

Hikaru had noticed Misuki's fidgeting and was about to ask her if something was wrong when he heard her ask for Deil to get out. Watching in silence as Deil got up and offered his hand, his mind immediately began to wander as he analyzed the situation... "Offering his hand, not too uncommon. It's polite and chivalrous, not so noteworthy as to be anything more, though certainly many would have not even offered it. Deil however seems to have good manners on his own. Not overly indicative of anything really."

Having not much more to say, Hikaru offered a quick "Are you alright?" to Misuki as she began to move out of the booth, fully expecting the normal, 'I'm fine response, just and smile' response. sipping his tea, which he had only stopped doing to ask Misuki his question, Hikaru shifted his eyes to the right just as Kage passed by and waved to them, and nodded his head towards her before returning back to his tea, taking an elegant sip before returning to hear Misuki's response.

Kageko entered the shop, pushing Hiruzen in front of her. For some reason, her friend seemed to have entered a daze of sorts as soon as Kage left and continued to be in a daze even upon entering the ramen shop. However, he did seem to recover enough of his wits to seat himself in a chair across form Kage. Kageko did the same and seated herself besides her friend. There was a pause as the girl waited for her friend to answer the sannin's question first, before deciding to take the initiative. "Well," Kageko began, slightly hesitantly, "My name is Kageko Valtieri and I was a shinobi of Otogakure before transferring to Konohagakure. I'm a genin that specializes in weapons and... umm.... I think that's about it for now." Although she knew that she had decided to tell some sort of authority figure about the Kyuubi, Kageko was still having trouble. For some reason, every oppurtunity seemed wrong to her. the girl assured herself,

Feeling Deil's gaze on her, Misuki felt another wave of dread wash over her as she shifted her eyes around nervously. Hearing the sound of shifting cloth, Misuki lifted her glance upward momentarily to see Deil out of his seat and offering his hand out to her. Nodding her head in a silent reply, Misuki slid out a bit before placing her hand in Deil's, taking his offer for assistance. As she was being helped out of her seat by Deil, Misuki heard Hikaru's comment but didn't think much of it due to her current state of mind and just flashed Hikaru a small smile in response to his question. Voice still a bit shaky, Misuki spoke in a somewhat forced okay tone of voice. "Yeah, I'm fine Hikaru-kun, I just need a bit of fresh air." Mouthing a quick thanks to Deil, Misuki began making her way out of the restaurant, having missed Kage's greeting when she turned to give a response to Hikaru.

Once outside, Misuki moved to the side of the restaurant as to not block the enterence way while she attempted to recompose herself. Leaning back against the wooden walls of the restaurant, Misuki changed the beat on her sound device to something more complex yet steady. Tapping her right foot in tune with the beat, Misuki subconciously began to finger Deil's gift that was currently hanging around her neck with her right hand. '*sigh* What am I doing? I'm letting my emotions run wild lately...I feel like people can read me like an open book now, I don't seem to have any control what so ever...*sigh* I know he didn't intentionally meant to hurt me but I guess it just hadn't occured to him that hearing that making this gift for me affected his performance causing him to get hurt...and how easily he brushed it off too...' Finger still fiddling away at the gift hanging from her neck, Misuki slowly began to lose herself to her seemingly endless thoughts.

[I hope everything turns out well for you! I`m having some problems as well, so I know how you feel.]
Deil felt Misuki`s hand as she held on for assistence, and could feel that her hand was somewhat clammy. However, this proved no part of his suspicion, only that she was nervous or uncomfortable. Deil listened and watched as Misuki made her attempts to convince him and Hikaru that she was fine, and glanced over at Kage and gave her an akward smile. When Misuki left, Deil sat back down.

He noticed that the cook had started browning the meat, and knew dinner would be done in a few minutes. "I wonder what that was about?" he asked as he turned his attention back to Hikaru. "So, did I answer all your questions?"

"Hmmm..." Hikaru watched as Misuki left the restaurant to get some air, but noticed a distinct falseness to her tone in a sense. "I'm not sure Deil, but she's clearly upset about something. she looked more worried then uncomfortable in the usual sense." Finishing his comment, Hikaru took another sip of the tea as he placed the teacup back onto the table and sighed, closing his eyes as he processed what Deil said, still wondering if Misuki would be okay.

"You do sound like a fascinating person Deil. Metal bones, tough as nails... I wouldn't like to think of what might come of a battle between us. My techniques lose a bit of effectiveness when they cannot be used to sever limbs. However, we do have techniques where, with much focus, can cut through hardened steel... so I guess you still wouldn't get an easy win out of me.' With a bit of a playful smile, Hikaru let out a small laugh as he sipped his tea in a sophisticated manner once more before continuing on. "I wonder however what we will be asked to do by Kage when the time comes. I feel so out of place, yet somehow we are supposed to help stabilize the village. it is a daunting task.'

Deil glanced back at the doorway Misuki had gone through. "Yeah, she did sound distraught. I`ll go check on her in a minute, when the food`s here and cooling off." He then listened to Hikaru`s assessment of his abilities and the supposed outcome of a spar, as well as his concerns about ROOT. "It sounds to me like we`d be having a fight to see who could "disarm" the other first." He said, letting the pun hang in the air like one of those farts that you just had to laugh at the way it sounded, but still wrinkled your nose in disdain. "But, with as far as medical tech has advanced, loosing a limb to a clean cut isn`t exactly as bad as it used to be, if they re-attach it quickly."

Deil then took a sip of his cha, and let himself savor the cleansing flavor. "It`s hard to say what we`ll be doing. Training others is a given, but I guess we won`t really know until tomorrow." He took another sip of cha, wondering what Misuki was thinking, and what their futures would be in the months ahead.
