"Order" is such a misleading word. For us, it usually means PIZZA PARTY WOOHOO!

"They were good people. Or I thought they were good people. But they changed. And I refused to give in." She shrugged. "And I was thrown away."

"It's not enough to know your limits..

"I think it would have been.. good experience.. to know people long enough to see them changed," Odin murmured as she flicked the leaf away. "That experience is something irreplaceable, no matter how bad it was."
..but to know what you must do to go beyond them."

User Image"Nghhhhhhh... GRAH!" Bapp flipped back upright.

"Signature Travel... learnuuuuuuuuwuwuwuwuuuuherned..." Bapp slunk down as the blood in his head settled down through the rest of his body.

"Time to learn... Bladed Weapon Proficiency." Bapp slowly stood up, still dizzy.
He looked around for a sparring partner, but they were all girls.

"I can't go serious if they're all girls..."

Harata nodded. "Aye. And when all this come to its end and I never will return to the land of sweet sorrows real, I shall remember the fondly still." She was half-singing her words now, her voice a melodious low alto, or a high tenor. "But will you remember me as I do you, in the land of sweet memories?"
She sighed, and ruffled her hair. "Sorry. I seem to be waxing poetical today. Hope you don't mind."

"It's not enough to know your limits..

Odin chucked at Harata's response. "I don't mind. It makes for.. interesting conversation."

She pushed back a lock of her bright red tresses. Her smile was almost genuine this time, slightly wider than the grins she was making before. It was the most of what her limited emotions could dig out.

"And of course I will. As I said. All experiences and encounters are irreplaceable. No one's an exception."
..but to know what you must do to go beyond them."

"That's good. You have learnt then?" She asked as a question, yet said as a statement. "Weapons and strength are only half a person's attack."

"It's not enough to know your limits..

"Guess I have," she shrugged, displacing the lock of hair she pulled back.

She grew silent for a moment, as if contemplating whether to go on.

"Harata, can you answer this for me? What would you call a person with no history of which to speak of?"

Coline's thoughts were soon distracted by two people talking nearby. The proximity in which they were standing, and lack of a better distraction, made it difficult not to overhear their conversation. She cast a wary look over to the girl with the bright green hair. Durem... that was allegedly where the majority of SINners hailed from.

Her attention soon diverted to the young man priding himself with a headstand. Hadn't he been in that position for the last... how many minutes now? That can't do much good for his head. But just as she was about to head over and advise him, he propped himself back up with a grunt.

"Hm?" What was that he said? Signature Travel? Coline rested her back upon the wall again. She sat there idly for a few minutes, sifting through her thoughts, before nodding to herself reassuringly. She'd had it figured out, although she would have to wait until the next morning before she could get any actual work done.

The fawn-haired recruit's mouth opened to let out a big yawn. Drowsiness was starting to creep in again. Her lids closed halfway as her face sunk into the warmth of her scarf. She supposed it wouldn't hurt to rest her eyes for just... five... minutes...

((Probably the last post for the day, unless someone decides to wake her up. She has nothing else to do. ;u; ))

User ImageBapp started meditating, seeing that the only sparring partner's he can find around here are girls and he didn't want to fight one.

All good is hard, and all evil is easy. Dying, losing...

Jessie had noticed Coline arrive, of course. These days his eyesight was just as good in the sunlight as at night, and he wasn't called Hawk for nothing. This hadn't always been the case, though he had always considered himself lucky for his relatively smooth adaptation. There were rumours of his ebony-skinned brethren simply sizzling up in the sun, as if some inherent evil within them just wasn't compatible with a world that prized virtue. He'd soon begun to think this was an exaggeration of the unknown concept of sunburn, however. The dark pigmentation of their skin was not at all similar to the melanin which provides humans with their vast colourations, and a Drow burned even more easily than an albino for some unknown reason. To his annoyance, he was still forced to remain inside his quarters on the hottest days of summer even after all these years, or risk looking like a snake shedding its skin for the next several weeks.

He was keeping an eye on all the young recruits, but kept a closer eye on Coline. The Captain's constantly growing interest in her wellbeing, stemming not only from his encounter with her sudden illness but also, as now, her need to disregard his cautions and continue to work as hard as she could, was something of a bother to himself. He felt flashes of annoyance when he saw that she still wasn't doing as she'd been told, and moments of guilt when he realised that by watching her he was forgetting his other trainees. And yet this human - this rivvil, so full of overwhelming potential and yet so helpless and alone (his mind conjured an image of a tiny mouse frozen under the gaze of a Beholder), continued to draw him back in.

He'd been glancing at her, frowning, just waiting for her to get up and try to exert herself, for a long time. Then, just when he was thinking about going and telling her to get to bed as an absolute order, he noticed that her head had lolled - she'd fallen asleep.

It made him stop in his tracks, for a moment. The sight of her, defenseless, quietly breathing against the wall, conjured many mixed feelings.

Well. She wasn't disobeying him. He hadn't specified where she had to stay to take it easy.

He excused himself from the group he'd been advising to collect a blanket from one of the chests and drape it over her while she napped. She didn't disturb from her dreams, and he watched her for a few moments before realising the group were probably still waiting for him and headed back to them. At least she wouldn't be cold again, as she'd obviously been that morning.

"A person with no history? Everyone one was a history." She laughed quietly. "They are simply some one who has forgotten, been made to, or had a life so painful it was better to."

Coline shuffled slightly in her seat, her mind still adrift in the valley of dreams. The blanket covering her form made her feel warm... happy. And her subconscious regarded that with a small curve up her lips conveniently hidden under the folds of her scarf. She had been sleeping peacefully for some time, surely far longer than five minutes, dreaming of nothing particularly significant. Clear blue skies, lush green fields, the soft chiming of bells...

Bells...

Her brows furrowed as her eyes slowly fluttered open. Oh yes, the chiming of bells were very much real. It was a sound familiar to her, and yet something felt... off. She didn't recognize this pattern. It almost sounded like a call for something urgent.

Coline's eyes widened as she came to a shocking conclusion. Getting up to her feet hurriedly she grabbed at the nearest spear-like weapon she could find, and sped off to the Temple in a sprint.

((Edit. The first few lines were intended to describe the effects of the blanky, but reading it over I guess it didn't shine through very well. xDD))
