"Birdie:Jack was an old friend of Ace's as he had time control powers aswell but was captured by the government and when we met up with him again he could not only control time but use lightning powers. He can now use fire powers aswell and attackes Ace every now and again for no apparent reasons but he said he was going to come back later in the week to kill Ace so please help Ace he is really hurt and he trusts you the most it seems."

She usually didn't show many emotions, but right now, Alessa wasn't quite paying attention to that. "He… trusts me the most?" she asked Birdy, stunned at the bird's thoughts. She just couldn't wrap her head around that one thought. No one trusted her all that much, except for Mr. Eldred. Having that weight upon her scared her, so she pushed the thought aside for now, trying to calm her mind of all the emotions running rampant.

"Birdy, I'm sorry, but I'm not that good at first aid. If he's seriously injured, we need to get him to the infirmary. Fast." Without placing her hand back on Birdy, she slipped her glove on so that she wouldn't read Ace's mind while she helped. It took her a couple of moments to figure it out before she finally hoisted Ace off the ground. She was strong, but not so much that she could've actually carried him to the infirmary. Still, it was worth a shot. Shifting the unconscious boy, she lifted him up into a fireman's carry, grabbing his knee instead of his inner thigh for obvious reasons. "Birdy, when this kid wakes up, tell him to loose weight; he's damned heavy." Leaving a mental note to her clone, she took off for the infirmary, hoping Ace wasn't in a critical condition.

(Where'd the tree come from! Oh well it makes for a tantalizing situation anyhow. >.<)

Wrapped around her waist, his right hand held her safe from the perilous drop. It was satisfying to feel her cling to him, even if it was only because she would rather be close to him than fall back the 15 or so feet to the soft grass. The sudden catch of the water witch meant that Palian was sitting on two branches spaced apart just enough to feel like a recliner that let his legs dangle.

Lifting his left hand, he brushed a stray strand of hair from Tsukiko's face. He stared at her as if he were searching for any visible injuries. After he was satisfied she was unhurt, he heaved a soft sigh and leaned back against the higher branch.

A loud crack resonated behind him, their combined weight being too much for the oaks vast bows. Less graceful than a windblown leaf, they dropped to the ground. A heavy thud, accompanied by two barking howls ended the fall. The thud was the sound of Palian hitting the ground, his air knocked out of him making the first bark of sound. Then Tsukiko landing on him which knocked out any air he had subsequently inhaled. In the end the white haired boy laid there unmoving, eye opened half lidded. Arms wrapped loosely around the girl who fell on top of him.

(It's all good. The desired effect was the same. ^'^)

Chuckling silently, he petted her hair in reassurance. Though he felt a pang when he tried to breath, it was far better to know that she was unharmed than to worry about it. Not only that but she was hiding her face against him. Something he only realized at that moment he loved. It made her vulnerable to him. In a way it was a show of trust, that she could be so close and not fear that he would strike out. Putting herself in such a position made him want to protect such a gift, this trust she put in him.

It was the first time he felt happy, truly. Joining this world, destroying everything, it all was to prove he could do anything he wanted. Be more than a projection, a puppet to someone who did not know how to pull the strings.And now he had something he wanted to do. A reason to stand here, that wasn't evil and bent on destruction, but his all the same.

Basking in this silent enlightenment, Palian buried his hand in her hair and tightened his grasp on her waist. Holding her close, he tensed slightly, waiting for her to respond.

(awe, I feel like this is an Inuyasha/Kagome moment. So tender and sweet, right before someone comes and screws it up, bursting the mood bubble. lol My bet is on Ryo, he seems like the jealous type. >.<)

Tsukiko kept her head down as she felt Palian pet her. She smiled to herself, but didn't raise up. She didn't mind laying like this at all. "I hope your not uncomfortable," Tsukiko said as she laid there her face still warm. Tsukiko was still embarrassed, and didn't know what to do. Upon hearing a cold voice speak to the boy under her Tsukiko flinched. She tensed up and tried to hide herself from Ryo as if she could. She knew when Ryo was mad by his voice though his anger could never measure up to hers at time it was great competition.

Tsukiko looked up at Palian after he sat her in the grass. She placed her hands on his arms to get his attention. "I say we make a run for it," Tsukiko whispered her voice softer then the wind Fyte conducted. She knew no one would win the fight that would take place, and she didn't want either boy to get hurt. "I don't know were to hide, but Ryo doesn't stay mad to long...at least not to my knowledge." Tsukiko leaned closer to Palian as she whispered. She hated Ryo when he was angry, he had a tendency to scare her when he got to angry, but that was really rare. She didn't want to hurt her best friend, but there was just something that lured her to him. She now understood the Lion and the Lamb, yes the lamb was very stupid. Not that she minded in one bit anymore. Though Tsukiko was brought back to the task at hand Tsukiko made a plan to make sure neither boy was hurt if a plan where to break one that would settle future fight to if there where any.

Ryo was truly pissed now. When he though nothing could make him madder, something did. He couldn't just run at the white haired boy, not while he had Tsukiko no it was to much of a risk. "What do you want from her anyway, do you think your good enough for her or something." Ryo's eyes where harsh, and his eyes cold. Sadly in his cold eyes not even himself was good enough for Tsukiko. Though he had been the one who had stayed with her hours after her brother died, and her father left her. He had been the one to teach her how to fly, and defend herself. Now he was the one she choose to keep her together. "I know you scared her on one of your last "visits". How could you even try to think about hurting her. You don't know her unlike some of us who have protected her for many years." Ryo's voice was harsh and accusing to the white haired boy. No one hurt or scared his Tsukiko, it hurt him to see that look of sadness in her eyes. That's why he didn't look at her.
