To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair.

Thank you!

As for my roleplay characters. I mix things I know and stuff I've read. I stepped into this roleplay fresh from UnderGaia. Which is the UnderDark setting placed in a Gaia-est world. Aly started like that, she was simple a rich daughter who had made a mistake and was banished. And then I thought, that it wasn't enough. I wanted the family, so I changed it from her alone, to the Crescents. In order to do this, I add bit of what I knew of my external family. And add a bit of the unconventional drow...from my fave webcomic Drowtales. I choose on the clan, took out parts I didn't like and then pressed the mix bottom.
The end result, well you'll have to wait to see since I'm rather new.
However for all this uniqueness there is a price to pay. I don't get know my characters as well as I would like. You see, all the stuff from above helps me to figure out what the family does, how it operates, and what keeps it going. Not quite my characters. So I image what they look like, and then I write a story using the elements of the their environment and their family to figure out what kinda story I should make. At the moment...Aly isn't quite quite fitting like a glove. Ned, I got down pretty well.
As for the rest...well their coming along. As I continue to roleplay they'll stop being phantoms that loom in the background and turn into being of full color.

To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

My RPC's are usually derived from my life and things I see in the media (TV, Movies, Games)
I don't think that skotti is nearly as good as any of you guy's characters, I always feel like he is a work in progress. He has two sides, his rock star, family man, hair sprayed up side that is derived from me (minus the rock star part) and the side that only the gang sees, the badass, gun-toting, hair in that spikey pony tail side that I created from stuff I like, I call it the two hairstyles of skotti.
Now, if you wanna see some real representations of me in my characters, look at Rikka from dear diary. She is actualy the most "literal" representation of me.

I could write a book with the amount of backstory I have for almost every one of my main RP characters. About 10% of Waffle's was never written, 70% of Sabe's wasn't even hinted at besides a fraction in OOC, and 85% and upward for major non-villian side characters.

My arrogance has saved my life. More than once.

Whether or not my arrogance put me in any of those situations isn't for discussion.

Also, I like to write, but I hate roleplaying. I never seem to think of anything good to say or do. I don't want to break the game or anything, you know?

@ Rom: AWWWW! :' ( So that's why you've stopped Role Playing with us. .

Fact about me: I hate that I can NEVER afford Pay-Per-View s**t. Like, when there's a UFC thing going on, I can NEVER afford to watch the ******** fight!! D; It makes me so. . . angsty.
(D< Tonight was the ******** Lesnar VS. Carwin fight, and I wanted to see Lesnar's a** get handed to him!!)

I'm never online often enough to join in, unfortunately. So the voices in my.....erm I mean the characters in my head have to come out through my writing.

If you guys didn't know, one of the proposed Gaia Spring Cleanings is to re-imagine guilds.

Honestly, I can't wait.

Also, I rarely ever watch anime anymore, but I still love Cowboy Bebop.

I can never quite stay still when it comes to colors.
I'm always changing moods, thus changing colors, and then changing ideas for how I want to use colors that people often get fed up with me.
I'm sure you've notices this in my post...I just hope no one here get to frustrated with me. I'm just not a fan of constant black.

When I am out in public, if I don't have any paper on me (which is quite rare lol), and I'm feeling inspired to write something- more than likely to be a poem- I will write it either: On my arm, or on my napkin.

I've been told, by a majority of the people I'm in contact with, that I don't say much. In truth most of the time I just don't have anything to say. Not because I'm bored. I do get quiet then too but I also stare off into space when I get bored.

I talk a lot some times, which usually annoys my friends. But when I don't talk at all and decide to communicate with grunts they freak out and wonder what's wrong. I guess it's because I'll do that for a couple of hours, usually. I've gone days without saying anything, mainly because I didn't have anything to say....

I have been known to put Pico de Gallo on almost EVERYTHING that I eat- Hot Dogs, burgers; You name it, I'd probably put the stuff on it.
I also love the Pico de gallo when it's spicy!

I think up stories.
I think up stories that never get an ending.
And never really begin them.
They are often failed and really just ideas.
Ideas of what would if...and then if...and if you added...
My current idea has me running around, making me wonder about
...my own "what if..." ...
I can write them, this isn't the problem
Its just the patience to see them come to light
That which I happen to lack and don't lack when
I think up stories.

I had a long-running series of thoughts and made-up stories in my head since I was about 7 or 8. Many of the main characters were Sue-like at the start (duh, I was 8, gimme a break here), but then they kinda evolved on their own. Characters were brought in and out of the plot, stories were re-written and dropped, and it evolved from something not unlike bad fanfiction to 'what ifs' and future plot points of the massive backstory for the RP.

I extract a lot of ideas from that pool, and now you know why I almost always have an idea or two. smile
