"Okay," Skara replied, putting another tortilla into the oil. Taking the one she put on the plate, she tried to dry as much of the oil off as she could. She laid out all the plates on the counter and put the tortilla onto one of them. Flipping the tortilla over that was in the oil she turned to face Kai, smiling.

Kai smiled back at Skara and leaned against the counter, "so what exactly are you making?" he asked looking at the food items that had been made, put on the plates, and on the stove.

"I named it taco skillet burger." She replied, turning back to the stove. She scooped the tortilla out of the oil and onto the plate with the washcloth. She put another tortilla into the oil, flipping it over drying it off and putting it on a separate plate. She repeated the process until all of the plates had a tortilla on them except for the one with the washcloth. Picking up the rest of the tortillas she walked over to the fridge and put them away, pulling out some lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. "Is there anything you would prefer not to have on yours?" She asked.
OOC: That's weird, I know I posted already... but it's not there anymore ninja

"ah sounds goo, and i'm sure its fine as is." Kai repiled walking over to stand next to Skara watching what she was doing carefully.

Marie paused for a moment to think about it. "I don't really know... anything really.." She wasn't used to choosing what to wear. She usually wore hand downs from the former slaves of her past masters. I think I'm going to really like this place. Marie smiled to herself. She nodded at Kai and followed Raven, who lightly took her hand.

Raven nodded, "well you can pick what you want when we get to the store." she told the older woman then lead her upstairs. She leadher into a room, it was fairly simple, a full size bed, window, bathroom, closet, dresser, amd mirror. "this is your room." she told Marie with a smile. "you can change it if you want to." she added letting go of Maires hand.

Marie nodded back and walked into the room. She took a double take when Raven stated it was her room. "Oh.. Wow. Um thanks yeah I'll do that." She remembered she had the dress Kai bought her earlier.

Raven smiled, "so you wanna take a shower and change? then if Skara's done we can eat then get you some more clothes." she asked, "and maybe get some more for Skara." she added remembering that the other female didnt really get anything to wear ether.

Marie smiled back, "Yeah sounds good." Marie glanced around the room and remembered the cage in the shop. She was practically glowing on the inside.

"Okay," She replied setting everything on the counter, near the plates. As Kai got closer she couldn't help but blush, though it didn't stay long, as she went back to making the dinner. She began crunching up the tortillas on the plates and arranging them in circles. She pulled out a knife and cutting board, she cut the lettuce into shreds and the tomatoes into 8th's. She covered the tortilla pieces expertly with the lettuce. She then took the meat and scooped it out onto the lettuce, setting the meat back down she picked up the soup. Putting a couple of spoonfuls onto the meat, the beans from the soup stayed on top, though the soup sunk into the meat. She took the cheese and sprinkled it on top of everything. She placed tomato pieces around the edges of the plates. Lastly she put a scoop of sour cream in the middle of each.
OOC: Yeah, that would probably be it.

Raven smiled and nodded, "ok so i'll let you do that, then you can come down when your done." she repiled and smiled once more then turned and walked out of the room closing the door behind her.
Kai looked at what the female before him made then looked at her, "looks good." he told her a faint smile on his face. He turned his head to look into the living room when he heard Shadow start barking at something in the window. Aiko moved from her spot behind the couch and ran over to the window and hopped into the chair next to the window pawing at it and let out a whine.

"Thank you," She replied, moving to put everything back into it's proper place. As she was putting some of the dirty dishes in the sink she heard Shadow start barking. She looked up a bit curiously. Delsath stood up and walked towards Aiko as she moved to the window, cocking his head interestedly.

Marie took a deep breath, "Okay I'll be down in a little bit." She said as Raven walked out and closed the door behind her. Marie picked up the bag and took her new dress out of it and laying it on the bed. She then walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. Marie turned on the hot water, letting it run for a few moments to let the room get warm from the steam. She undressed and got in, the hot water suprisingly gave her much relief to her scrapes and bruises.

Shadow looked at the other male then looked at the window again, as if thinking 'you cant see it!?' he then looked back out the window at the figure in the tree just by the window. Aiko barked once her tail wagging happily pawing at the window.
Raven came downstairs and looked at Aiko then at the figure in the window, "hey Kai! its a kitty!" the younger girl yelled going over to the window and standing next to Aiko with an amused look on her face.
Kai looked back from his place by Skara, "aww man, i dont like cats." he mumbled shaking his head then shuddered sightly remembering something.

After a few minutes Marie stepped out of the shower and rapped herself in a towel that was hanging on the towel rack. She ran her fingers through her hair untangling it slightly while looking in the mirror. She took a deep breath, feeling realived and walked out of the bathroom into her room. Marie pulled the dress she had bought earlier and put it on. She then walked back into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. The dress was shorter on her then she expected, it was about midthigh, but she felt it was still pretty cute. Marie stretched and lay down on her bed for a moment, she turned over taking a deep breath in smelling the fresh soft sheets. Marie's body ached to stay laying there, so she decided to lay down for a few more moments. After a while she drifted off to sleep.
