Marie turned her head to look at him after he mentioned he could organize her living as a nomad. She looked at him intently as he spoke, paying attention to his facial expressions. He seemed to really mean what he was saying. "The two of us? Go away for a while?...." She mused aloud, almost ignoring his last statment. She wouldn't kick him to the curb unless he gave her a reason to. "Hmmmm..." .

"Yeah... I guess. Like a roadtrip, but without the road." Bradley said, a slight grin on his face. Sure, he had seen plenty of the country and beyond, but he hadn't seen it all. "I mean... It wouldn't last forever, just long enough for you to miss being human, then you could go back to your normal life." He looked back out the window, imagining the places he hadn't been yet. If she didn't want to, he'd go without her. Plain and simple.

Marie didn't really need to think it over any longer. She knew exactly what her answer was going to be. "That sound's like it would be fun..." She said honestly with a bright smile on her face. Her mind got to thinking about the trip. "I have a few weeks off in December for the holidays...We can take a trip there, or, if you'd rather wait, we can take one after I get out for the summer...Possibly both." She thought aloud. She looked up at him eagerly. "What do you think?"

Bradley grinned a full, shining, million-dollar smile. "Sounds like you're not afraid of an adventure," he said, his eyes shining, "My kind of girl." He winked and moved to lean on the window, his body facing Marie. "When is up to you, little scholar. I'm up for anything." He wondered how well she'd be able to manage out there in the great beyond, being what she was. 'She'll probably have to hunt, which will either be beautiful, or a beautiful nightmare.'

Marie gave a smile that almost matched his. "No, I'm not. Adventure is something I would love to have more of in my life." She stated before stifling a yawn. It couldn't have been that late, but she had gotten a head injury recently. It was probably just her body wanting to actually rest. The time period in which she was knocked out didn't count. "I say, we take a trip both times..." She said, standing up to stretch before she headed up to bed. Bad idea. Moments after both her feet hit the ground, one knee gave out and she fell back onto the couch. When she landed, she just laughed. Through the laughter, she managed to speak. "You know....when I meant trip....I didn't mean I'd take a fall..."

Bradley chuckled a little at her clumsiness, shaking his head while he laughed. His dark hair swished down in little clumps down over his eyes, further accentuating his amber eyes. "Time for bed, kiddie." He said, chuckling. He figured it wasn't wise to let her walk on her own again and whether she would protest or not, he physically had the advantage. He hoisted her up off the couch, his marble arms holding her burning skin close to his icey body. He walked carefully but quickly up to her room and managed to hold her with one hand and move the covers with the other. He placed her down gingerly, stepping back to give her space.

Marie could have walked upstairs on her own, but she decided not to argue as he brought her to her room. After she was sat on her bed, she stretched. Once she was finished, she got up and went to her dresser to grab out some pajamas, that was something she wouldn't let him do for her. After sitting her clothes on the bed, she walked up to him and gave him a kiss on each cheek. "Thank you, but I need you to exit the room so I can change for bed." She said with a smile, waiting for him to respond.

"D'aww, ruining my fun?" Bradley teased, his voice a coarse chuckle. He smiled and backed out of the door , unsure where to go. He didn't have to hunt that night, nor did he particularly enjoy any human activities, besides creating music, but he doubted she had any means of that. Therefore, he just stood there for a little while, his eyes flicking back and forth through the hall and down the stairs.

Marie laughed softly at his comment as he exited the room. She shut the door behind him and changed quickly. After a minute or so, she opened the door again to see him looking absently around the hall. "That boring, huh?" She stated with a small smile before turning around and heading to bed. She pulled down the covers after making sure her ihome was turned on, playing music softly. After sitting down, she pulled the covers up over her legs and waist. "Sorry that there's nothing to do. There's a bunch of stuff in the hall closet that might entertain you. Some packs of cards, an old guitar, some videogames..."

Bradley followed in her footsteps as she entered the room, before stopping a few feet beyond the door. He watched her head to bed, rejoicing in how human she could be. "Oh, don't worry about me. I'll find something to do." He said quietly, his mind reeling to the guitar which was supposedly in the closet. "Get some sleep, Marie." He suggested, turning to leave the room and head to the closet she had spoken of. Rifling through some things, he found the guitar he figured she had talked about. He wiped the thick film of dust from it, strumming a note to hear its tone. 'Other than it being grossly out of tune, it's in beautiful shape.' He thought, walking back to her doorframe which he slid against to the floor and began to tune.

Marie had laid down and pulled the covers up to her neck, hands under the pillow under her head, by the time he had returned to the door frame. She watched him curiously as he started to tune the guitar. She had wanted to learn how to play at one point, but she lost interest after a while. It was a shame, though, she thought. It would have been awesome to be able to play. Her eyelids grew heavy after a while, and she dozed off to sleep, listening to him tune the old guitar.

-Time Skip!-
Having played all night, Bradley still remained on the floor leaning against the frame of the door. His eyes were closed as his fingers moved seemlessly across the frets and strings forming a timeless melody. He listened to Marie's constant breath as he played, awaiting her awakening.

Marie rolled over, eyes still closed as she hoped to be able to fall back asleep. No classes today, for it was Sunday. No need to be in a hurry to do anything. However, she heard the guitar, and realized why it was playing. She slowly opened her eyes, her head the onlything visible from the covers. Once that was accomplished, she looked at Bradley, watching him play. "Have you been doing that all night?" She asked curiosly, not attempting to get out of bed, nor even move.

Bradley shrugged, not missing a beat. "If it's morning, then yes, I have." He joked, for it was obviously no longer night. He finished up the last bit of his song, and stood up, leaning the guitar on the doorframe. "How'd you sleep?" He asked, slowly making his way towards the bed. His irrational male thoughts requested he just jump on or in the bed with her, but his rational brain figured she'd freak out. Plus, his skin was freezing cold; no one would want to be in bed with that.

Marie rolled her eyes playfully at him. "How did I sleep.....Hmm...Not long enough, to be honest..." She said, watching him from her bed. She didn't mind that he was coming closer, although she kind of missed the guitar playing. "Gawd, it's hot in here....." She said, still under the covers. That was the weird thing, no matter how hot or cold it was, she kept the comforter on her bed and slept under it. She couldn't sleep without it. "And that's coming from me..." She said with a small laugh. Marie was glad to notice that she was feeling immensely better than last night. Even more so, she was glad he had come back. "Come, sit down...." She pulled one arm out from under the blankets and patted the other side of her bed.
