Kuno smiled at his limp mother. "I hope you sizzle in hell, mother." He whispered in pure hatred.He chuckled imagining his mother as bacon. 'Interesting thought, seeing as you just killed your mom.' - And it never felt so good to kill. He looked at Azure who seemed unphased. "Sorry you had to see that." he said softly - not surprisingly upset about killing his mother. He had killed before. Just now he was curious about his sister. "You okay?"

It took Azure a moment to find her voice, after glancing once more at the broken body of Kuno's mother. "Yes." She trotted quickly to him and gently licked at his bitten ear. "Are you?"

Nightflame wasn't sure if she wanted to enter the house since she was nervous of other wolves, but it didn't seem like any of them would pay attention to her so she staid hiding in the bushes looking at various couples and friens. "How I wish I was that brave to be like that," she thought to herself.

Kuno smiled at his mate. "Yeah. It'll scab, but that's better than her unfortunate wound." He glared at the broken body beside him and shook his head. That disaster had scared him for so many months, and yet... he took her down in but a few seconds. He glanced at her and sighed, "I would never do that to you. You have no idea what that monster did to me... and probably my unknown sister."

Azure closed her eyes, trying to keep the dark thoughts away about how Kuno's puppyhood may have been. "I don't want to know what she did." Turning her back to the body, she asked, "So, what are you going to do now? I mean- do you want to try to find your sister?"

Kuno gazed at Azure and slowly shook his head. "One day. But for now, the love of my life is my focus. I have you, and you're what matters most to me." He said softly, nuzzling her lovingly.

Taking comfort from Kuno's words, Azure nuzzled him back. "Come on. I'd rather not be here with-" she peeked back at Keera's body and quickly shook her head. "-with that."

Kuno smiled and wrapped his tail around hers for a moment, only to release and start running. "Race ya' to the big tree by the porch!" He called, taking advantage of his head start with a laugh. He wasn't phased by his cold hearted murder. He'd done it before. And he'd do it again - but now, it would only be to protect the one thing he had to protect - his mate.

Azure jumped back as Kuno sped off. "What? Race?" It took a moment to sink in as she sat watching him run. Shaking her head, half a confused smile appeared and she ran after him. "What happened to ladies first?"

Kuno laughed, the breeze combined with his speed causing a lovely wind flowing through his fur. "That rule doesn't apply in races!" He called back, laughing and wagging his tail as he neared the tree. "Almost there!"

Azure rolled her eyes. 'Males.' She knew she couldn't catch up but she ran as fast as she could, working off the pent-up adrenaline. She narrowed her eyes with full intention to tackle Kuno for suprising her like that. Remembering what happened the last time she had raced at him she reduced her speed a little.

Kuno smiled and laughed when he turned and noticed she was slowing down. "Aww, you're not giving up now are you Az?" he questioned through pants and a smirk. He was at a slow trot as he neared the big tree. He laughed and turned his head, deciding he had won without much thought otherwise.

'You think I'm giving up? Wrong words, dear.' Waiting until Kuno was facing the tree again, Azure put every ounce of her energy left into running and using her ability to create a strong wind for herself. Combined, the landscape raced past, her paws seeming to barely touch the ground. Then she realized- they weren't touching the ground! The wind was so powerful, she was being pulled right up. 'Am I making a tornado?' Her suprise made her lose her concentration, the wind died, and she thumped to the ground... right next to the tree. But she had forgotten about the race. Jumping onto her paws she spun around to find Kuno. "Kuno, did you see that? Did you see what I did?" She was nearly yelling from the shock. "I just flew!"

Kuno, lying down awkwardly on the ground with his paws spread out around him with his stomach firmly on the ground, glanced up at Azure with wide eyes. "Couldn't, dear. I was getting throw into the air." He stared at her, grinning wildly, "You flew?" He seemed almost more excited than Azure as he pulled himself and gracefully strode to the tree, the race still occupying his mind, and tapped it. With a teasing smirk, he added, "I win."

"Yeah! I flew!" Azure spun to look back the way she had come. She turned back to Kuno just as quickly, having only just taken in his position on the ground. "Sorry, Are you oka-" She tilted her head curiously. I win? What is he talking about? She looked at the tree he had touched, and remembered. "Ah geez..." Rolling her eyes, Azure licked his nose. "It's nice to know I've got a mate who can keep his priorities straight."
