Kutai curled his tails around Fuega's body for added warmth. "Maybe you just need to rest. It has been a draining day for us both..."

Nuzzling close to him, "Should we go back to....our 'den'." There was an uncomfortable stress on the word 'our' as if it felt alien to say.

"In the past I would have called it impossible....." Thinking back it felt strange. Here she was holding a conversation with not just anyone, but Kutai. Back them she wanted him dead. And now here she was walking along side of him and pregnant.
