"Hmm, maybe..." Gatz folded his arms around her waist as he continued speaking.

"... But I doubt there's anyone here who can beat your awesome hips!" he said with a rougish wink.

"Morrigan and Dragon may both be powerful, but I seriously doubt they have the management skills required to run a resort--unless they planned to run it into the ground, that is. As for myself, I'm too sparaditic and irresponible to even think about trying something that requires that level of organization."

"... But if you're still worried about that sort of thing, I guess I could train you a bit," he said slyly. "Because I can't gain more 'power,' I've become very good with 'skill' instead. And while it requires a lot of effort to learn skill, it's the easier of the two to acquire."

Gatz smiled and patted her on the head.

"Oh, I can think of a few things at the moment... none of which involve combat," he said with a chuckle.

"But seriously, there's a lot of things I can think of to teach you about. Defensive and evasive techniques, chi or charka manipulation, specialized martial arts abilities... the list goes on and on. I suppose we could start with that new cloning technique I offered to teach you, though your current one seems to work just fine in most cases. Or if you want something a that's more of an offensive style, there there's always the Infinite Edge technique. Light Feather is always a useful skill, though it doesn't have much attacking power..."

He pulled back from her a bit to look at her face as she gave her answer.

"Right then!" Gatz said. "We'll start with Light Feather, as it's the easier to learn, and in my opinion, the more useful of the two."

"It's a technique that most martial arts use to some extent, particularly some forms of ninjutsu. Basically it's an art that allows you to move your body as if you where almost weightless--hence the name--giving you rather amazing and effortless acrobatic ability. You can dodge quicker, run fast, and jump further by using it... masters of the technique gain super-human speed, can stand on water using the surface tension, and can practically walk on the air itself."

"For once example of the techinique, you might have noticed I was fast enough to keep up with Rio during our little match, despite the fact he was using Ura Renge to enhance his speed..." he hinted, giving her an example of the technique's abilities.

"There is a slight downside to it; since you're being so light and airy, you can't really make any 'power hits' while using the technique because it's imposible to get enough force behind one. Regular attacks, quick strikes, and light parries work just fine though, as many of those rely more of the sharpness of the blade used than the strength behind the blow. And if you try for a stronger hit, all your body does is stop using the 'weightless' part of technique for the time you concentrate force into the attack--the speed still tends to carry over."

"So, still interested?"

"Well, part of the reason I suggested it was because it was something you'd be partly familar with, but if you instist..."

Gatz walked out to the high-ceilinged hallway of the manor and worked on regulating his 'breathing.' Then he hopped into the air and pumped his legs, floating higher as if he was climbing an intangible staircase. Eventually he got to one of the walls, and crouched against it. With a slight kick he pushed off, sending his body gliding across the room on a perfect horizontal.

For fun he started humming "Weapon of Choice"* as he sailed along, shoving off the walls several times. For the finale, he jumped around the room fast enough to blur his form, striking out at and dodging imaginary foes with effortless speed and grace. Then he tucked himself in a roll and dropped to the floor, landing on his feet in front of Aonice with only a slight ruffle of his clothes.

"--As you can see, the higher level of Light Feather is mostly a more advanced version of what you do, mostly because it specializes in the body's movement itself, rather than defense or attack. I think it'll be pretty easy for you to pick up, and it should greatly help improve your performance in the areas of speed, dodging, and mobility."

"... As well as your flexability... heart " he said with a wide grin.

"It involves contolling you breath and using you energy to push against the air below you," Gatz explained.

"Ninjutu actually has a similar move without the added speed that's based soley on charaka control, that allows the user to float or fly. It's just a extention of the tree walking and water walking exercises you guys do," he said with a shrug.

Gatz explained it to her in detail, giving her the pointers about adjusting her energies extremely evenly to gently push against the air below her...

(( sweatdrop Well, it's like water-walking, but with air... you spread out your charka so as to support youself on the air, okay? The concept is simple, but putting it into practice is probably the hardest part.

"Yep, pretty much," Gatz said. "It's something you're familar with though, so you should get it with practice. There are no shortcuts whent it comes to training in a new skill."

"If you think this is difficult, you should wait until we start on the mental and physical disciplines needed for Infinite Edge," he said with a chuckle.
