No cross for her to grab now "Indeed, it appears that I am blessed." she shot back, but he wouldn't be able to see her smile. After the last layer was pulled on, she sat down on the grass, then laid down. Not caring what stains it would make very much. It wasn't as if there was anyone else to look at these clothes.

Quin looked around, where could he try without being seen? He didn't want to get his clothes as wet as he was, but then he didn't think it wise to expose himself to Chanti. Deciding the best bet was to crawl out on the other edge furthest from her he stretched out, lutting the sun dry his skin.

"When we get back, does the party start? Or is it the day after that?" she called. Not looking where her hand was wondering through her clothes, she found her necklace and started to put it over her neck "Are you tired over there?" Sleepy?

"Well I don't mind if people would come over tonight, hopefully they would wait tell I was home, but it will most likely be tomarrow." Yawning a bith he relaxed under the heat of the wanning day. "A little, but I'll be fine." His mind drifted for a while tell it found shore upon a problem, he had left his clothes on the other side, to walk around would be to expose himself to wade through would be to defeat the purpose.

Not so fine for her, but she should be grateful at least that she would get to speak to Jay later. She'd never met someone like Pale before. That woman didn't try to fight her, she just commanded and expected so much to be obeyed that Chantico actually had no desire to ask her questions. More the other way around.

Standing up Quin bore his state of undress with good humor. "Reminds me of the time I ran nude through the court on a dare when I was younger." he reminensed to himself. Finding his clothes he dawned them, "Well you can look now." he said as he was finishing the last button.

Despite the corset, bloomers and farthingale, she still felt embarrased when he saw her like that. In a flash she grabbed what remained and fit it over her head. the lacings were unlike the front and were concealed in the back, she hadn't been able to fasten them so she looked normal until one saw the back.

"Well I can't reach back there, and I really don't want to walk like this." with a half smile she shrugged, aware of how ackward the thing was. Men's clothing seemed so much more managable.

Stepping behind her, his hands moved over the clasps, pulling it taunt so it was tight he closed it up, "I say, do woman like to torment themselves, the boning, the hopskirt. The fact you need others to even help you into your clothes. You really should get something simpler, even a simple summer gown would do."

"I've been told it looks good this way." her index and thumb started running over the pearls, counting them "and anything else would most likely not conceal my form properly." she was thinking about the women in his house, as well as when she had visited the girls in Wedsday's shop.

"Looks good yes, I can agree with that, but then most woman look good in anything." His eyes glanced down to see her fingering her necklace. "There is something I heard once, it went something like this. It isn't what the clothes reveal, it's what they hide. In other words clothes that show a lot aren't always desirable while those that do give the viewer a mental task." Smiling at what he emplied, "So what do you want to do now?"

She wanted the earth to open up in that moment. Just to open up and swallow her whole like it had the heathen goddess Persephone. Everyother statement he said today only served to make her hold onto her necklace more firmly "Shall we go back to your house now? No one knows when the guests will come."
