Deathstroke just looked blank. It ... did make sense... The tech... Everything. "I suppose," he replied after a moment, "It makes more sense than the other theories I was tossing around."

"A rookie getting brand new tech that the BATMAN doesn't even have?" Lex asked Deathstroke.

"Right," Deathstroke replied absently. This added a whole new level of surreality to this whole mess. "So he's probably the Batman that takes over once our version is too old to handle things any longer. Probably 20+ years from now." That time frame meshed with the advanced tech, as well.

"Definitely the 'plus'," the Joker said confidently. "I see him work more than either of you. The way he's going right now, he won't stop until he's dead. You can be sure of him going at least ten years into that 'plus' before he'd even consider retiring. And even THEN, I can promise you that he wouldn't just LET someone take over. He doesn't even let just anyone take the role of ROBIN, NOW. You can thank me for that."
"I'll defer to your experience with the Dark Knight Detective, Joker," Lex said. "But let's get back to the matter at hand. If it's a futuristic Batman we're dealing with, we have to assume that he knows about everyone from our time that has semi-regular contact with our Batman."
"Oh, I'm sure not EVERYONE," Joker mused, "Have you SEEN Batsy's Rogues Gallery?"

"He's definitely much better than any Robin I've ever fought," Deathstroke stated thoughtfully, "I'd tentatively put him on par with the first version of Batman when he first started doing this. And if our version trained him, I think we'll have to assume that does know all of us. At the very least, he wasn't phased much by me, and he certainly wasn't phased by the clown."

"From what I saw, the only one that DID do much of anything to him was Prometheus, and THAT'S only because he's like a Bats that kills people," Joker commented.
"Hm..." Lex thought hard about this. "Joker. How many enemies DOES Batman have?"
"Enough to require advanced accounting methods to keep track of all of them. Killer Croc, Riddler, Killer Moth, Firefly, the Great White Shark, Clayface, Penguin, Maxie Zeus, Black Mask... the list seems endless."
"You might want to get in contact with all of them. If there's one thing the Gotham criminal underworld is infamous for, it's not working well with each other, let alone others. It might be time to put those problams aside."

"Good luck getting them to recognize that," Deathstroke replied flatly.

Stephanie Brown
Robin Robin waited or the signal the message had been sent out and then checked to see if the others were watching before jerking the cords hard and cutting off the data collection she assumed. Then after looking around a bit she found herself almost forgotten as the three found each other it seemed and discussed. Stephanie quietly undid the cuffs and slide the pick in her hair before starting on the computer. There had to be something she could do to it to cut the power or jam the signal. She remembered she had a few bobby pins in her hair to hold it back. She reached down for the open door using it to break the coating on the wires to expose them. When she was sure they were exposed she braced herself and jamed the bobby pin on all of them connecting their currcits. She felt a tingle of electricution, nothing she hadn't felt before. Then saw a bit of a spark. She jumped back and moved to find a place to hide or escape though. The one handcuff still wrapped around her whist. She thought she might need something to protect herself later, and she would use whatever tools she had. She moved quickly and as quietly as she could. Then suddenly she stopped when she heard the commment on teaming up. She about froze in her steps, then quickly hid as best she could. She listened quietly. She heard them say something about little bats before but were they really trying to make a showdown. Villians against bats? Her heart started to beat in her chest harder. She was conserned for her friends and what she so desperatly wanted to be her family. She listened to the names trying to think of which ones she knew and what kind of fights between them she could easily cause just by mentioning this and that. She listened intently trying to think weither she should try to escape or stay for infromation. If she died there it didn't matter what she learned if she left without knowing much more she wasn't as much of a help.

EDIT:
(( Wow, I'm so glad half the people I named aren't in the guild, all of a sudden ))
"If there's something I learned when I worked with Hush," Joker said to Deathstroke, "It's that everybody wants something. Everybody." The clown looked around, and concern crossed his face. "Um... Where's Robin?"
"In the next room. You had to pass her to come in here," Lex said. "Remember?"
"Um, no, I simply remember walking in here. I need to tell our writer to stop slipping!" The Joker crossed his arms defensively.
Lex stared blankly at the Joker for a second, then turned back to Deathstroke. "Anyways, we can always come back to the robot. I think I found our sixth man."

Deathstroke stared blankly at Joker as well, then turned to Luthor. "Oh?"

"Yes," Luthor said, "He appears to be quite effective, albeit a little unstable. Here, let me show you." One of the pictures on the wall disappeared; it had been a computer screen with a painted image shown. He replayed the fight scene between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin.

Deathstroke was silent through most of the playback, but whistled softly when the man walked on a broken ankle. When it was over, he hesitated for a moment. "... He seems more than a little unstable to me." Actually, he reminded him quite a lot of a certain clown who was standing right next to him. Especially when it came to that last line about the bombs.

"I like him!" the Joker exclaimed, barely noticing Deathstroke's note about his instability, "Nice set of toys, obviously is able to get inside people's heads, can ignore normally debilitating injuries, and has a great color scheme!"
Lex was silent; he was listening to Deathstroke and Joker discuss what they'd seen. They both knew HE wanted to bring him in, but he wanted to hear them without his interrupting.
