Raquel blushed again. smiling as she looked up at him, her eyes sparkling even more in the night's ambiance. The little strings of lights here and there created a perfect setting for all of this, and to make things better, it was a clear night, not cold, but not muggy. The stars were all out and twinkling, but still not as much as the eyes of the young ladies on the floor. "I dont know... you look rather sharp yourself darling.." She murmured back to him as she rested her head on his shoulder, careful not to put too much pressure on him weight wise.
Nat wasn't very experienced about dancing, but h had done it before. So he had acquired just enough knowledge to spin Teagan about the floor smoothly and closely. "...I don't think I told you how pretty you are when you cry..." He noted, looking down a little with a soft smile, recalling the ceremony.

Damian laughed a little. "Oh, I don't know about that. I look normal, don't I? Hardly dressed for a wedding." As they danced, Damian kept his eyes on Nat, too. There was still something he didn't trust about the man, which showed the way his inner hackles raised around him while still being civil. He did, after all, look after Raquel while he was in the hospital.
That surprised Teagan a bit. "Well, hopefully you won't ever have to see me like that again," she said. "Those were happy tears. When I really do cry, I get this annoyin' red spot above my top lip. It takes forever to go away."

"well...I think...normal for you is spectacular in my book Mr. Centurion..." She smiled, looking up at him, her eyes pouring over with adoration. "You know what else I think?" She asked, still looking at him. "That we belong here. This place...this planet in general breaths us in and embraces us perfectly... " She sighed, closing her eyes a moment. "To be honest I felt sick when we first arrived. I didn't want to worry you, but I found it hard to breath, and I'd overheat very quickly, getting too tired to go very far or do very much...but just after the few weeks here, Its all gone. And if anything, I feel better than I have in my entire life!" She opened her eyes again to look up at him misty eyed. "I just feel...alive here..." her eyes softened at the thought as she held him closely some more, feeling the night couldn't get any better.
Nat laughed a little, pulling her closer during the dance, not realizing his feelings were coming back as well as they swayed in the moonlight. "I'm sure it doesn't look that bad..." he winked softly, spinning her a little. "Though I hope you don't get offended, I just hope I never have to see it..." He furrowed his brow a little with a nod, letting an awkward silence set in before smiling like a fox. "Because I never want to see you cry out of sadness...or pain...or anything bad..." His eyes softened as they locked on hers.

"I think you are right, dearest... What a home this will be to come back to. We just have to find one first. Richard told me about some great property by the vineyards." Damian spun her out from him, and reeled her back in once. With her back to him, he could steal a kiss on her neck. "All in good time, though. Richard asked me to housesit while he and Lorey go away on their honeymoon. You yelled at me so much about having that top room that I think this works better, yes?"
If only you knew, she thought. She'd cried so much over him that then, she just wanted him to kiss her. But it would never happen. "Well then, if it ever happens, I won't let you see..." An empty thing to say, since she knew she would want him to see so she could be comforted.

Raquel smiled, nodding as the music started to fade. "Oh- Speaking of which... you should probably rest for a few songs...we can always pick back up here and there hm?" She kissed him as she stopped dancing, taking her arm to lead him back over towards their table.
Nat frowned. He didn't like that. But before he could say anything else, the song ended and a new one started up. "Ah-...I should-" He gestured back towards the tables but stopped, looking down at the ground. "Thank you..." He took her hand, kissing the back of it like he had seen in a movie once. "I'll be back." He promised, taking off to speak to Raquel.
"Ah- R-r-roxy?" He called out as she was helping Damian over to the table. Raquel turned around, her cheeks a little pink as she looked confused. "I was hoping...if it'd be alright..." He looked to Damian with a respectful nod. "If I could ask for the next dance?" His eyes left Damians to Raquel's pleadingly. Raquel's green eyes shifted to Damians as if saying it was up to him though assured him she'd be fine.

Damian was pained to actually say it, but he had no control over Raquel. He had no right to tell her who she could and could not dance with... "Of course. Go dance with someone who isn't crippled." He laughed and offered a smile, though inwardly he was writhing. If he lays a hand on her inappropriately, he will be the crippled one.
Besides, in a minute or two, he would ask Richard's mother to dance, and get back on the floor to keep a close eye on everything.
Teagan went back to her table with a good blush on her cheeks. Why, Nat? she thought. Why are you messing around with me like this? Friends one moment, borderline couple the next. Things were never clear.

Well that was that. Raquel nodded to Nat as she took hi hand and let him lead her onto the dance floor. She said nothing at first, deterring her yes as they waltzed along, an awkward silence setting in. "Roxy...can't you look at me?" He asked, though immediately realized she wasn't his. She didn't have to look at him. But she did look up at him, smiling pleasantly. "I'm sorry...I just find this a bit-" "Awkward? Yeah...." He chuckled, looking away himself. Raquel smiled too, a bit more genuinely as she shook her head. After another awkward silence, Nat got straight to the point.
"Listen Ro-...Raquel." He looked back to her. "I just...wanted to say..I'm so ...so sorry about all those years ago. I mean, we were both so young, and I just wanted to make you happy, but I was so scared I'd mess up, and I was afraid of such a commitment and-" Raquel placed a finger o n his lips gently, her face calm and serene as they continued dancing. She could feel the conflicting emotions writhing through him, but also noted for once they weren't about her.
"...You love her dont you?" She asked out of the blue, Nats whole head cocking in confusion. "That..Teagan girl." She tilted her head to get a look at the confused, and slightly sad looking girl a bit aways. Though nat said nothing, but looked down. "...Natty..." She bent her head over a bit to try to get his eyes again. "...Dont .... dont mess this up." She said with a stern nod. :I- ...Hm...I understand and have come to terms with what happened long ago, and I'm ok with it now. I dont hate you, I dont think your a coward. We were both so young, so vulnerable and so damn lonely." Her eyes seemed clouded as she thought of the past. "But We've both moved on, regretted our mistakes and apologized for them so now... we just need to let go and move on."
Nat didn't know what to say. He just looked at her for a moment, not saying anything. Even his feet didn't seem to want to move as they just stood in the middle of the dance floor. But as soon as people started noticing nad staring, Raquel got him moving again by leading.
"Teagan...she really cares for you...." She noted, trying to get him to focus. "Nat I just want you to be careful. Because, even though we're not together anymore, doesn't mean I dont still love you." She made sure he was looking right in her eyes to make her point. "I really care about you natty and want to see you happy... She can make you happy. Just.. dont hurt her. Dont breka another girls heart along with your own again ok?" Nat let his eyes drop as they seemed to mist up, but he nodded.
"...You're right Rox...you're so right..." He looked up at her with a respect and admiration he hadn't used in a long time. "...As much as I hate to admit it... That Damian character has you makin' all sorts of sense with this 'happiness' business..." He smirked.
"Well...He does make me...so happy..." She swallowed a little, looking down with a loving smile that actually made Nat's heart glad instead of ache for once.
As the music started to fade, Nat made her look at him again. "So....we're good then?" He asked with a nod. Raquel smiled, nodding. "We're more than good... Now...go ask her to dance again." She tilted her head back and smirked as Nat blushed and nodded. "...I'll see you around Natty...." She added softly, leaning up to kiss his cheek sweetly before pulling away. Nat looked into her green eyes before finally just chuckling to himself as he finally let her go. In more than one way....

Damian had been dancing with Richard's mother, and gave her a bow before hobbling off to see Raquel. His knee was killing him, and he needed to rest. Though, that didn't stop his mind from running all over the place. "What was that all about?" he asked rather gently. "Is everything alright?"
the night was winding down, and there was one more dance to be had. Richard and Lorey were already out on the dance floor. Teagan wasn't so sure she had anyone to dance with. Not after that connection she saw between Raquel and Nat. She may be engaged, she thought, but she's still willing to be so close to him...

Raquel smiled, sighing slightly as she made him lean on her. "Just clearing the air. Everything's fine love... and... please dont hate him. He doesnt love me like that, he just feel guilty about when we were young. ...See that Teagan girl. He's completely in love with her..." She pointed out the florist with a subtly nod. "And I bet you he'll find a way to mess things up royally. I just hope he loves her enough to either keep it from happening or at least to fix it once its done." She shook her head, watching Nat go up to ask her to dance again. "...Darling...its getting late...can we head back to the hotel? You need to just sleep and put that leg up..." She bothered overh is leg, knowing he'd have no fun just sticking around as everyone danced and chatted idly into the wee hours.
*imma make things semi fast with Nat and Teagan*
Nat came up to Teagan, and with a short bow, he extended his arm to her. "...Can I share the last dance with one of the most brilliant women in the room?" He asked with a relieved and happy smile ,signaling things went good. "Everything worked out. She's fine, I'm fine now...Its all ...fine." He chuckled, scrunching up his nose as if he hardly believed it.

Resolved. Everything was resolved... That made Damian feel like he was on air for a few moments. "I'm happy for you... but yes, let's head back. I really am in a lot of pain right now, and didn't bring anything to help." Damian led the way to Richard and Lorey to say the good bye for the evening. The honeymoon plans could be discussed at a later time.
Teagan was a bit taken back by that. But, she beamed at the news. "See, Nat? Everything's fine! Now you can start living again. Stop running, and start living..." She gave him a tight hug and the biggest smile she could muster. His victory was hers, she felt. Even if they weren't together. "Now... let's dance. First one of you being free from that guilt, alright?"

Once Raquel had left after their hugs and goodbyes, Nat and Teagan were on the floor, enjoying themselves fully.
But the night did have to eventually end, and Richard wished it would hurry up.
Once the last bit of guests were leaving, Richard turned to his Lorey. "Mrs Lorelee Mentaro..." He cooed, scooping her up in his arms. "I've been waiting too many lonely years for you to come into my life, scoop me up, and make me feel loved... Allow me to repay you with the same now..." He whispered into her, kissing her all the way inside and up the stairs.

(AHURM)
---
The next morning, everything was peaceful. The house was quiet, so much so that Lorey could hear the birds singing outside. She was mostly bare and cuddled under the covers with Richard, her official husband. She felt whole, loved, and comfortable with herself as she lay there next to him. Slowly, in the silence, her mind retraced the steps of the night before. He'd been so gentle, her Richard. There was nothing to be afraid of now. No guilt, no worry, no angst. It was all fine. And Lorey loved that feeling.
She nuzzled the side of his face with her nose and kissed it. "Hey, you... we've slept in pretty late. The day's gone by without us..."

Richard wouldn'tbe surprised they slept so late. He had spent half the night, lying awake, watching her sleep, his mind reeling and flooded with thoughts of her. Though finally, as it started to beome morning, he managed to fall asleep wthi his bride in his arms.
At her touch and voice, his eyes fluttered open as he stretched a little in place. "Ah- ....Good morning... Or- afternoon..." He cocked an eyebrows thinking about it, but simply laughed. "...Gosh...You're so beautiful..." He cooed, stroking her face as he started to wake up. "All of you...is beautiful..." He blushed lightly, his soft touch going down to her neck and shoulder, but stopping there.

"Thank you..." Lorey propped herself up on her elbow and stroked his hair from his forehead with her free hand. "Do you feel satisfied now that we waited? Was that what you wanted it to be?" Lorey understood that Richard had wanted to wait because he hadn't done so with Rose. It was such a strange thing, to hear that coming from him, but they had done it.

Richard smiled, sighing a bit as he laid back. "Yes...It was...Thank you darling...though...are you ok?" He asked, more concerned about her thoughts on it all, rather than his.
