"You have my word, I will not seek you out. But pray we never meet each other on a battle field." From here he can see the battle ships coming closer to the city. They where still a distance from the city, but they would be there with in 30 minutes, and ready to fire. "Why would you want to go to her funeral?" He wondered what his true intentions where.

Halo moved Raven down to the ground, and dispersed the air trap. "I want to pay my respects to the innocent girl I killed, one more request. Would you happen to know anyone by the names of Varnis, Sothe, or Zanio?"

((Quite an odd seqeunce of events.))
Azael looked at Varnis. "I'm no-" As she spoke throughts came unbidden to her mind, a kind smiling face and a name. "I think my name is Azael." She told Varnis, even as she said it the name seemed to fit her. She knew she had remembered truelly. Something had triggered her memory. She knew the other was her mother. She had died when Azael had been nine or ten. Other than that she couldn't say.

Mia looked at Varnis and spoke up, "all right I will go with you." Mia looked in the direction of the mountains, where her village lies. "My village will have to wait for now. I just hope they will stay safe till then." Mia flew over to where Varnis stood, "all right what do you want me to do?"

((Had to introduce one of the other generals. Two more to go. But they probably wont show up later anyways. Don't want to have to worry about many NPCs at once lol.))
Raven knew about only one of the people Halo mentioned. He knew everyone that had come and gone in the city. But... After the man just killed his daughter, he wasn't sure if he should tell Halo. "I have heard of one of them... But not sure where they are..." Raven told the truth, but not about where he was. The sphere of stone opened enough to let Halo out, but it was opened in the opposite direction of Raven. "If you do... Don't let me see you..." He started to walk off in the direction of where his daughter now was.

"Azeal you think?" He smiled. "Well, its a nice name." Varnis looked over at Mia as they walked closer to the bell tower. "Help watch my back when I talk to this guy. He claims to know the truth but... I'm not sure if I can trust him. There's so much that is happening now, and knowing the truth would be helpful."

Halo figured that Raven wouldn't reveal any more information about his targets. Halo step out of his stone prison frustrated with himself and his abilities. So far this day had been a complete waste, all he's done today was cry, kill a little girl, and learn nothing to further help his mission. Halo was pretty sure that he had successfully drawn unwanted attention to himself. Halo walked away quietly not exactly sure where to being again.

Sara froze as the first feeling of weightless movement began to start. She heard Erik, but only managed a dull nod at him. "I do not fear the dark." She said with a bit of wryness behind it. She remembered she had said that once as a girl, but this time it was true. She kept a firm hand upon Erik but knew she was in no danger by being in the dark.

Azael smiled happily before the events of the last half an hour or so reinserted themselves into her mind. Still she was remembering, now if she could only keep that stream of concious thought coming. She nodded to Mia a she alighted beside her. "Shall we go then?" She asked a bit nervously. "We shouldn't keep the man waiting, and with the upcoming battle it would be better if we were able to help there to." Azael rationalized.

"And here we are!" Erik announced. The pair had left behind the darkness, and now stood in an open plain, with a city in front of them. "Are you all right, Sara? It takes a bit of time to become accustomed to traveling through the darkness."

"You're right, lets get going." Varnis had walked began to walk towards the tower. "The quicker its done, the better."
As they had neared the tower, Varnis walked into Halo not paying any attention to who was in front of him. "Never seen a building tha- Oh, uhh sorry." He smiled and looked over at Halo for a moment before turning back to the entrance to the tower.

Sara looked about their surroundings. "Well where are we and where is the village?" She asked curiously before settling her gaze on Erik. "The path wasn't so bad, I'm glad you were there to help me though." She said a bit awkwardly. She turned back to stare at the city.

Azael nodded. When he had bumped into the man she waited for it to be sorted out. "Varnis come on we need to hurry." She said before starting toward the bell tower. She was ready for just about anything, hand to sword hilt, readily.

Halo turned around and gripped the shoulder of the person who had just ran into him.
"Excuse me, can I ask you a question." Halo said over the bustle of the streets. Halo thought maybe this person could help him find a place to stay for the rest of the night. Not being to familiar with the city, Halo didn't know where he could stay to rest. Maybe, some people would be nice enough to let him stay with them tonight.

He replied to Azeal as he felt a hand grip his shoulder, and realized the arm that was attached to it was attached to the one he just ran into (needed filler lol). "You just did... But go ahead." Varnis was just being a smart a** at the moment.

And yes, I did want that, that's why I had him bump into Halo.))
