Leah could hardly keep her eyes open, she got up and plopped down in her bed. falling fast asleep. Adin could feel Jade.. He took in a deep breath which hurt to show her that he felt her. He finally got the strength, and broke out of his unconsciousness, opening his eyes slowly to find Jade sitting next to him. He looked at her silently.

Jade let out a sigh of relief as she watched his eyes open. She wanted to call to Leah, but she appeared to be asleep, plus, she wasn't sure of how long he'd stay awake. She smiled softly as she said, "Good morn to you sleepyhead," she laughed softly as she spoke, while fighting back tears and the urge to hug him, her hand still laid gently on his cheek.

He barely smiled but he still did.. " Jade.. " he spoke that one word and name that he loved.

She was on the verge of tears when he said her name. "A-Adin," her voice choked out. She wanted him to speak more words, but she decided that it was for the best that he didn't. "Rest now, okay?" she whipsered to him, her eyes still full of tears, her voice this cracking and trying to hold them back.

he still had a smile on his face, he took her hand and held it, looking into her eyes, giving her a small nod. Then he fell back asleep.

"You're safe now,' she whispered as her voice trembled. Her hand held tight to his as she leaned in and kissed him gently on the lips. She managed to ease her way down beside him, still holding hand. She fell asleep shortly after.

That night Adin had finally a peaceful sleep. As for Leah.. she dreamed about her parents, and had a flashback of the necklace that she had now destroyed. She woke up and sat straight up in bed. " Holy s**t.. what have i done "

Jade woke with a bit of a fright when she heard Leah's exclamation. She stayed where she was though, next to Adin, when she groggily asked, "Leah, what are you on about?"
Her mother and sisters were sleeping peacefully in the next room.

Leah looked down and touched where the necklace use to be.. " It's gone.. " she said softly.

Jade knew instantly what Leah was talking about, and felt awful. That necklace was the last thing her father gave her, and now, it's gone. "I'm sorry," she whispered, feeling as thought it was her fault the necklace was gone.

Leah fought from the tears coming in her eyes, sat there silently, then finally laid back down and went to sleep.

The room felt so, depressing and low to Jade, she couldn't stand being there anymore. She got up and snuck out to the little river that Adin and her loved so much.
She placed her hands in the rivers cool water, letting the water's coolness calm her. She heard a tree branch crack not too far off behind her. She chuckled softly, "Dahlia, did you really think that I wouldn't know that you had followed me?"

She stepped out of the shadows from the tree and walked up next to her looking at the water. " I figured you would notice.. " she smiled. " Is everything alright Jade, i'm getting worried.. " she looked at her sister, tears starting to fill her eyes.

She chuckled softly and then smiled as she said, "Dally, everything is, fine," she was telling a partial truth, but, it wasn't too bad of one. "Come, come sit by me sister," she whispered as she motioned for her to come over, her hand dripping wet.

Her tears vanished when she was reassured. She came and sat by her sister near the water.
