He walked around the building with his hands in his pockets, looking in each of the rooms taking it in. Wolvey hoped to come back and spar in one of these rooms with a teacher, but not for now. He decided to leave and find himself somewhere to stay.

While wondering around the grounds aimlessly she stumbles upon the training room and decides to enter and see how it is. As she pushes open the door she smiles softly. this place is familliar to her, the smell of polished weapons and sweat. she decides to linger for a bit and watch the other occupants for a while.

Shadow_Phoenix_Blade Lena smirked and lowered herself comfortably. She spread her hands out on the staff to where it seemed a bit awkward. She had been taught the harder fighting techniques since she could remember. And it was all she had. "Let's." She moved around him slowly, making sure to place her feet down in a place where she couldn't easily be bowled over. As Lena made her circle, he circled in the other direction. This was how he liked fights to start most of the time. The tension building up, figuring out who would strike first or what would happen next, gave him a huge rush. He made a move, just to test how good Lena actually was with a staff. he held the sword in his right hand and quickly came from the left to the inside, moving right. He moved as quickly and precisely as he could making sure to place the blow very carefully, just above her hip. If he practiced more like this, he might be able to learn something knew.

Lena immediately dropped the bottom portion of her staff and caught the sword. She jerked and instantly brought the weapon up in a jerking motion. As the lower end of the staff came up, she whirled and brought the top part down toward his knees. She kept her head low just in case.

Jumping over the staff he managed to throw the sword from his left hand to his right. He then meant to swing across but noticed Lena kept her head low and that it was an impossible feat to try and hit her at this moment.
When his feet were planted on the ground, he moved into a defensive stance, the sword held right down the center of his body with his feet spread in front of and behind him. He knew that he was at a disadvantage when it came to reach so he would have to get it close and finish the job quickly. He just had to figure out how.

Van walked to the giant raining hall. It was bigger than most of the building he had seen on the campus. 'If Im going to train, I'll need wepons...' he thought to himself as he scanned the skies for any birds. He couldnt see any, so he looked for any other animals on the ground level. All he could see was a samll mut scrunging for garbage. 'I wouldnt have the heart...' he said to himself, 'I guess I'll just make do with my spear.' At this, Van walked thru the doors and prepaired to start training.

Lena came back to her feet and shifted the staff to act more like a sword. She measured the difference, calculating her chances in her mind and then shifted slightly on her right foot. She pushed off her left an instant later and swpt the staff tworad his sword, pushing as much force into her swing so she could knock his blade away.

Lena's wing had done what it was meant to do. The staff connected with the sword he was holding solidly, causing Taern to grab the hilt with both hand just to keep it under control.
To regain some balance, he moved with the staff, causing him to stand on only one foot, and tilt sideways more and more until he finally went down altogether. After the fall, he spun his legs around and regained his stance. In doing so, he managed to shift most of his weight forward, closing some of the distance. The only problem was a good portion of Lena's staff was now behind him, so he had to move quickly.
Crouching low, he positioned the sword's hilt at his right hip, and lunged forward to thrust.

Lena immediately pulled her staff forward to sweep under his legs but she couldn't avoid the sword. It hit her thigh causing her to stumble back just slightly. Her gripped loosened on the staff but she forced at least one hand to tighten.

Not wasting any time and seeing that Lena was off balance and having trouble controlling the staff, he made a move.
Placing his feet firmly, he let the sword come down and in, going for Lena's hip. He then would use the momentum of the rebound to whirl around and swing at her head. Both were fairly simple strikes but unless Lena got crafty, she couldn't hope to evade both strikes in her current position.

Fayth decided that she needed some real practice, especially since she had found out that this school had training rooms designed for water manipulation, which was what she wanted to practice. Going through the forms her mentor had taught her, she assumed the void, feeling no emotion. She was honed down to the bare essentials, even pain was beyond her feelings now. She began by creating small arcs of water, one after the other, until the room had the feeling of being in a spider's web. She then let go, but first directing all the water over the pool in the center of the room. As the water came rushing down, she began another excercise. This time she took strands of water, and "wove" a net, again achieving the effect of the spider web. Why Fayth's teacher was fond of designs in that fashion, she had no idea, but guessed that it was an intricate design, and thus more difficult to make.

Lena couldn't evade either. The sword slammed into her hip and then she was knocked to the floor once it hit the side of her head. She slidd a few feet, stunned. Lena blinked, trying to stop seeing double as rose from the floor. She reset her feet and gripped her staff more firmly. She was still having trouble seeing but it seemed something was taking over her body that was more automatic.

HE faded back, giving Lena enough distance to regain her stance and get her head strait. He figured a blow to the head was not the best or cleanest way to go about fighting but he simply took the opportunity when it arose so he didn't feel too bad.
Lena did come back to her feet but he could see in her eyes she was having a little trouble staying in control. If the fight went on much longer, or even if it got too tense for just a second, they would both end up losing it. His vision shifted and he was seeing double. It would go back to normal in a few seconds and then shift out again and again. He felt something coursing through his veins, something he had felt before. It burn intensely and when it reach his chest, felt like is was engulfing his heart.
He did his best to keep calm and stay focused on the task at hand. He stared Lena in the eye, waiting for her to make a move.

Lena tried to calm herself but anger was starting to sweep through her. She had felt this kind of anger before but only when she had battled her mother. Her mother had always been stronger than her for some reason. Always. She gave an agitated growl and darted forward.
She brought the staff down hard toward Taern's shoulder, as she brought her foot up to catch him in the back of his legs. Then she swung up, the anger reaching beyond even her own limits. Her breathing had become harsh and she was blind to was really happening. She had never ever before gotten this angry.

The hit to the shoulder seemed like an easy block to Taern but as soon as he felt it, he knew something was wrong. He quickly brought his second hand up to the hilt, griping it tight and trying to keep the staff off of his shoulder. Because of this, he lost his focus and then was swept backwards, later feeling the staff solidly connect with his back.
He just stared upward, feeling dazed, and slumped from the staff onto the floor like his body was liquid. Taern took a deep breath, coming to his sense, and got up quickly, getting into a solid stance facing Lena. His vision began to shift in a out more and the burning feeling he felt before started to increase. Steam began to come off of his body and lines that look like they were connected to something appeared just beneath his skin.
He felt something inside of him, growing larger and larger but did his best to keep it subdued. He didn't want to take anything too far and wanted to win the fight while he was still in control.
He shifted his stance to a more defensive one, trying to stay focused on Lena and her movements. He just quietly waited for the next move to happen.
