Alyssa followed Miki silently into the library and was astounded with what she saw. Though Alyssa never admitted it to anyone, she loved to read and study. It was always something to do when she was at home. When her mother would go to hunt, Alyssa would spend hours in the library reading random books that appealed to her. It was nice to see such a large library such as this.
She stumbled backward, trying to control her excitement and her nictoine addiction. Alyssa knew it was forbidden to smoke in the library though she felt as if she were about to die without it. Alyssa bit into her lip with an enlarged canine, letting the blood fill up in her mouth unnoticeabley.

Miki smiled at Alyssa's reaction when they walked into the Library. He came in a few steps behind her, facing forward again, with his black leather violin case still strapped onto his back. Well what do you think? He asked redundantly in an amused tone. He could see her amazement at its size and the way she stumbled backward as if it had actually physically hit her. Looking sideways at her, Miki blinked a few times. Your lip is bleeding. He told her, being master of pointing out the obvious right now.

"It's alright..."Alyssa lied, regaining her composure as quickly as she lost it. Having grown up with a pure bred vampire, Alyssa was taught to lie and be a master of wit. The reasonng behind her ability to change subjects, it came naturally to her now.
Miki made the comment about her lip and Alyssa nodded distantly. She licked her lip and swallowed the blood that had been filling up in her mouth for the past minute or so. Her burgundy lips curled into a smile as she waited for his reaction. Alyssa was used to people with all the reactions she has gotten for drinking blood, she was curious to see Miki's.
As she waited for his reaction, Alyssa's withdrawl was growing worse, now coming to the point of pure insanity. She couldn't stay in a place where she couldn't smoke a cigarette, it was starting to corrupt her.

Miki shivered as Alyssa swallowed her own blood as if it were nothing. It took all of his effort not to go 'yeuch' again. Are you okay? He asked concernedly after getting over the spectacle. Something was definitely amiss, either she was lying about the library and it was so amazing it made her bite her own lip or she had bitten her lip to keep from doing something she might regret. Or, even more, maybe she was attacked by someone else's power.

Keila ran into the Library, twisting her head this way and that. She thought she'd seen him... of course, she could have been wrong. Of course, it had been such a long time. Probably six months. She turned past a bookshelf and let out a large gasp, extending her mind to his automatically. "Miiicckkeeeyy!!" she said rather loudly, despite being in the library and ran towards him, practically tackling him with a hug. "I knew it! I thought I saw you and I did and I was right and yaaaayyy!!!" Keila smiled, looking up at him. She was still short, just with shorter hair, too.

The sound of someone screaming out his name caused Miki to glance away from Alyssa and turn around to see who it was that called him, though he knew of only one other person who called him that here. Keila! Miki squealed in his thoughts as a tiny blur flew through the room and smacked into him, causing him to let out an incomprehensible grunt as he toppled over from the force of her weight added on to the already heavy violin case pulling down on his shoulders.
All this noise had earned the small group a short glare from the librarian who placed a finger over her lips in the 'shhh' symbol to quiet them. Miki was kind of helpless on the floor right then so there was no way he could see this, but it wasn't as if he needed encouragement to stay silent. How have you been? I think you've grown. He teased her.

She stuck out her tongue in an equally teasing manner. "Yeah, yeah.." And then they were shushed. Keila looked towards the librarian, blushing. "Sorry!" She pushed her thoughts out of the way and opened the link to his mind further. Before, his mind had sounded merely a whisper to hers. I've been okay.. a little bored though without someone to talk to, though. she smiled up to him and then looked towards Alyssa with a smile. And I think I did grow a bit... and, oh! she pulled her pink ribbon out of her hair excitedly. Look! I got my hair cut! It makes me look more mature with it down, doesn't it? she giggled aloud, turning back to the new girl again. So who's your friend, huh?

Deirdra walked in slowly into the library. She had been searching around the school for some familiar faces, but unfortunately she didn't find any. It sort of upset her, but it wasn't really showing from her face. Her smooth cheeks were red and her lips were pouting out slightly.
She looked just like she usually has always though. She was wearing a sleek black dress that went in the form of her body, that had actually gotten a little curvier. Her long silver hair flowed behind her and over her shoulders as it went around her ram-like horns on the sides of her head. Her leathery bat-like wings were folded neatly behind her. Her hands rested together infront of her as her purple hazey eyes moved back and forth to look the room.
A small sigh escaped from her as she decided to take a small rest. She pulled out a chair from one of the tables and sat down. She flattened out her dress when she sat, smoothing out the creases. Her eyes shut for a few moments, letting them rest for just a bit. They slowly opened once more after something had caught her attention.
Smoke....
Only one thing, or person rather, was associated to smoke for her. And that was Shien. Oh, Shien. Her lover that she had missed so dearly for so long. But, was he here? She had been looking for him. Was he in this room? She didn't see him here, but yet, she could feel his pressence, and smell his pressence for that matter.
She was suddenly confused. Deirdra thought that perhaps her mind and heart was playing games with her. She shook her head slowly and bent her head downwards as she closed her eyes once more.

Shien's reading had been occupying him for a time, reading up on the weaponry of his people and their uses and history. His cigarette hung from his lips, and he seemed quite occupied standing in a small intersection of book cases and reading. Reading to keep his mind off of things, to keep his mind off the bitterness that he'd managed to keep firmly cemented inside him for a time. His expression was blank as he read, before something caught his attention as well. The fact his cigarette ash had fallen onto the page. He sighed and stepped forward as he snapped the book closed, putting it under his arm as he made his way towards a waste basket to throw the dying cigarette into.
He rounded a corner and his heart stopped. He felt like a gigantic gust of wind had slammed into him and knocked the air from his lungs, and the cigarette dropped from his mouth with a soft thunk. The smoke rose lazily from it before Shien had the good sense to step gently on it, smothering it out while his eyes focused on one thing. Between the bookcases infront of him, stood the one woman he'd never expected to see again. Deirdra. His mouth was hanging open slightly, his pose seeming to have been frozen in mid movement. Then all at once he moved. The book dropped from his arm, and a flapping of cloth as he litterally rushed towards her and put his arms around her neck tightly, holding her.
He didn't speak. He didn't trust his voice at the moment. He might start sobbing. His eyes already starting to burn, he bit his lip and just held her there, arms shaking slightly under all of it. The emotion's he'd been feeling for the past several days escaped him, along with all coherant thought and feeling in his body. Except the feeling of his arms around her. He finally opened his mouth and tried to say something romantic, something to make this moment perfect. Something that would explain his disappearing before. But all that came out was "..About time you showed up. I was starting to get lonely." softly, into her hair. He smiled softly and pulled her closer, the tell-tale blurring of his vision telling him his glasses had fall to the floor and tears were currently streaking down his face. "God I missed you."

((Don't kill me, buut... I gotta go. xD For the week. It's spring vacation, and my family is going down to mexico. So I'll be gone. Until I return... Have fun roleplaying! =D))
Ali also lacked the ability to sense anything besides body heat, which she was only able to do due to her sensers planted in her eyes. Ali continued on, a smile on her face. It remained there, seeming to be stuck.
"Ah!" Ali said. Her eyes became blank for a moment, and she stood rigid. Her look seemed to be that of her greeting. "I'm afraid I must leave." The chip was giving off incredible blood lust, and she wanted to go before she hurt anyone. After all, torture was so much more fun than straight out killing.
"Ta~!" Ali said with her monotone voice and a little cave of the hand, before her entire self turned down the corner. She forgot her little promise, to show where the courtyard was.
((And there is my smooth exit. See you all in a week!))

Before she knew it, Deirdra was suddenly caught up in someone's arms and was being hugged so tightly. It took her a moment to have it actually click in that it was Shien, though, she probably knew it all along. Her instincts were right after all. The warmth that she felt surge from his body to hers was immense. She missed it so much, this feeling of electricity and fire between them.
She wanted to say something too, to maybe have the silence from the moment between them cease. But then again, the silence was really just fine right now. Shien then finally spoke. Deirdra giggled a little, although inside she was aching and it felt like her heart was exploding. It was beating rapidly like a mouse's heart would.
Tears started to form out of her eyes as well, despite her happiness. I guess, you could say they were tears of joy. Pure joy and thankfullness. Finally they were together again. Deirdra wasn't even truly sure of what had all happened before this moment. Did it really even matter now, anyway? This was what was going on now. This was what was happening between them.
Her arms went around his waist and she whispered to him back. "I missed you too.. Shien..." She said ever so softly, as if her voice would just about give out right at that very moment. She didn't really know what to do. Though, that she was now starting to get a bit worried about what anyone else was thinking in the room. Hopefully, they weren't too much of a distraction. "Shien.. I'm sorry."

((LOL, I won't kill you. Maybe Madoka will. Muhahaha. Have fun!))
Fuyumi blinked and watched as Alianda exitted the library with a brief goodbye. She was puzzled, didn't she promise to help them find the courtyard? Fuyumi scratched her head and raised an eyebrow, this was confusing her. She shook her head though and gave the rest of the group a wide grin, "Well... does anyone know how to get to the courtyard?"
Madoka could not believe it. One of the first students Madoka had met on her first day of school happened to be a person who was not good at keeping her promises. Madoka felt as if she could scream. Instead, she bottled up her anger as soon as she heard Fuyumi ask the others if they knew the location of the courtyard. Madoka growled, "Who cares. We can just run around in circles until we find it, can't we?"
"Ahh Madoka, we must find Etsy though! We can't just waste our time running around in circles," Fuyumi reminded her impatient friend. She poked Madoka's shoulder and giggled, "You're so forgetful!" Madoka shot Fuyumi a glare and frowned. "I am NOT forgetful," Madoka pouted and folded her arms across her chest. Now if Madoka was an honest person, she would have probably admitted that she actually even forgot Etsumi was missing for a moment. rolleyes

He softly chuckled as she spoke, and his heart just about leapt out of his throat. How he missed that voice. He didn't mirror her thoughts of distracting others, really, as Shien had stopped thinking of other people the moment his eyes locked on Deirdra. He just felt like -exploding- at the moment, and not in a bad way. Lots of things inside his head were practically on fire, and his eyes seemed the chief thing as he silently sobbed into her embrace. It was all really, really hard to process for a man who'd spent a long time recently trying to ignore his thoughts and emotions. He increased his crying a bit as tightened his grip around her, it was odd how much he'd missed the feeling of her in his arms. He shouldn't have felt so content right now, but he did. He felt insanely happy and content, and in contrast two minutes ago he'd been bitter, angry and trying to forget he'd ever felt like this in the first place.
A soft shake of his head was all her words brought, and he softly said "Don't be. It's my fault first." as he shifted a bit and backed up from her, still holding onto her and smiling. And crying of course. It was a good thing that his coat was waterproof, or he'd be soaked. "I should be the one apologizing." he said after a moment of staring into those eyes that reminded him of storm clouds, that perfectly contrasted his bright silver ones. Not so bright anymore, actually. They'd dulled a bit for some reason recently, though with Deirdra's return to his arms they were lit up by emotions, making them look a slight shade darker then before. He pulled one arm from her and leaned down slowly, keeping his eyes on hers as best he could as he picked up his fallen glasses and put them back on slowly as he stood back up and put his arm around her again. He smiled softly and shook his head, mind still rushing to take all of this in.
