I'm interested to know how they came up with that because a hundred years ago we didn't have the technology and they weren't in the same circumstances that China is now.

I think they were saying something about gaining world influence and beginning to develop quality control regulations and standards and all that. Something about the beginning of movements for civil rights.

That would be a christian world because some religions restrict rights and some countries are theocratic or have a big religious population.
