Kiani filled a very small waist pack, that seemed to hold five or more times as much as it looked like ti should hold. She filled it with breads, cheeses, and more. Once it was full and Zipped, she grabbed a water skin and filled it to the top and hung it around her neck. She then turned to Selena. "ready?" she said as her eyes flickered again, this time almost a goldish flash.

Selena held her finger up for a moment and rushed around the kitchen, grabbing dried meats, cheeses, and breads also, but also grabbed a small cooking pot, some matches, blankets, and a few pieces of fruit. After filling up her skin with water and slinging it around her neck to came back up to Kiani and nodded, then walked out the door to the kitchen, leaving a large sack of coins on the counter for Usukie, and heading for the door to the bar.

Kiani watched her leave. As Selena's back dissapeared out the door of the kitchen, Kiani stretched her muscles and then leaned her head way back, when she looked forward again, she was no longer the mysterious human lady, she was Kiani the VaShir cat Woman. Her entire body was covered in fir, she had a tail, four paws, 2 arms and a human torso and head, also covered in fur. She leapt lightly out the door, and over the counter, and then proceded to follow Selena out the door of the establishment.

Tsurui's arms were wrapped gingerly around her, holding her close to him. "I-I love you too..." The words felt awkward coming from one with virtually no heart, but as it seemed his heart was there, and doing a good job. Shade was 'asleep' the entire time his confession went on. The little bat rolled over, inching closer to the egde of the pillow he was laid upon.
"Hehe...just a bit closer now..." He said to himself, as he flopped over the egde of the pillow and plummeted towards the floor. "Now to make a graceful exit. Hey...why, my wings!! Oh no..." Shade hit the floor with a familiar splat, and remained there, by Tsurui's foot. He twitched a few times before falling fully unconcious. Tsurui hardly noticed the little bat's escape, all he could see was Kittie, laying peacefully in his arms. "Oh and Jesters don't think, if we did. You think we'd have this ransom on our heads" He said laughing softly.
Tsurui felt quite odd though, as a Jester, he'd grown up showing his love through a show of his own blood, never by words. If anything, he never told someone he loved them. Kittie was the first.

Behind their lids her eyes danced merrily and she stifled a giggle. She had heard a mini splat and could only imagine the little scene that had gone on to create that sound as her love confessed his feelings for her. In that moment there was no where else she would rather be. The gentleness of his touch and the care he showed for her made her heart glow. She wished for nothing more than to always be allowed to keep within his company.

Shade was unconcious on the floor, dreaming of god knows what. Most likely dreaming about terrorizing those around him. Tsurui and Kitte though were another story, the two sat happily together, totally oblivious to the world around them, completely enamoured into their newly confessed love.
The tiny bat began to stir on the floor. Looking up at his happy master, he scoffed and attempted to get up. "H-hey guys? Can, can you help me up? My wings, they don't wanna work..." But there was no answer, Shade sat growing angrier on the floor. "Guys!! Come on, i didn't mean all that earlier, i was just goofing." Before Shade could get anymore out, he heard a few childish giggles come from Tsurui, as they both got up and left the bar for a walk. "grr...leaving me like this. how rude. Fine...i'll just have to get up on my own." Shade was beyond irritated, as a weaker dark aura surrounded him. "Hmph. I'll show them terrorizing alright."
The little bat floated into the air as his body was surrounded by a black mist. The sound of skin stretching, and bones shifting could be heard. The once tiny bat was no longer so tiny. He stood almost equal height to Tsurui, and was in fact a Death Jester. His own clothing was colored all black, two tiny bat wings jutting out from his back. His mask was pure white, and his eyes were a deep malevolent shade of purple. "hehe...now we'll have some fun..." Shade said, disappearing upstairs.
Meanwhile outside the bar. Tsurui walked in each others arms. They didn't speak much, but even without words the love they shared was without compare.

The two walked side by side with slow steps. As they proceeded further and further away from the bar she grew more and more comfortable in his arms. Stopping Tsurui where they stood, she simply laid her head on his chest and held onto him, stroking his back as she stood on tiptoe to nuzzle his cheek.
Above them, a bird dressed in a multitude of flashy colored feathers landed on an overhanging branch. Its body was rather disproportioned though it seemed to be able to keep its perch and its balance with no problems at all. The flutter of its wings announced its presence to the two.
Looking up, a smiled touched her lips as she recognized her old friend. She turned to face the two-winged mass of colors, an arm held close about her lover's back, the other hanging loosely at his front, its hand resting on his shoulder. "Hello, Pjera," she said in a soft and pleasant voice.
Her eyes sparkled with mirth at the sight of the female bird. Pjera was always such a sight to see. The oval shaped head held a rather large beak on its end that was quite possibly five times the size of the holder of its blue and red eyes. The body was about twice the size of its head, though its wings were quite massive for the bird's size, considering it had a span of about twenty feet. The legs were rather large in comparison to the body. Pjera's talons were thick and sharp. She was an omnivore and though she mostly dined on berries there was always the occasional rodent, deer, or elk she would happily take for her meal.

If she talked she would surly pass out....It was horrifying... She sat down and she started to reflect on what had just happened. "Why me" she whispered. Everytime, every single time this happens to her..."maybe it's just better if I never fall in love again" she said dully taking out her own hipflask and taking a huge swig of Whiskey....

Tsurui smiled happily seeing the large bird, it truly was an awesome sight. "wow, big bird. Bet she would make short work of Shade. Maybe i should introduce him to her..." He said with a laugh. He wouldn't be surprised if the bird could carry Tsurui off.
"You rang, oh master of mine?" Came a familiar voice. A Jester stepped out from an alleyway, dressed in all black. He exuded a malevolent aura, as he steppped before the happy couple. In his clawed hands he held a scythe similar to Tsurui's. "Hehe, so whatcha think? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery afterall, i just gave your outfit a bit of tweak?" Shade slowly walked towards the happy lovers, his eyes weren't as innocent as they used to be, as he stared with a cold glare.
"S-Shade? Wow...that's - -" Before Tsurui could finish, a shard of metal pierced through the side of his arm, drops of blood seeping out. Shade had his hand held out before him, millions of tiny shards of metal floated in place above his fingers. "If i win, you get to be the bat, if you win. I'll return to my other form..."Shade said, a touch of malice in his voice as another piece pierced through Tsurui's arm.
He grit his teeth as the shards cut deep into his flesh, he looked over at Kittie, and with a sigh pushed her out of the way. As she stumbled back, he mouth the words "love you..." Looking away, he turned to face Shade, his own scythe pulled from the very air around him.

Feeling his touch leave her, her body went rigid as she was struck with the shock of seeing him injured before her eyes with her so near. Her eyes flicked to the sight of Shade's imitation of her love for a split second then back to Tsurui and his bleeding arm. She felt paralyzed though her mind screamed in a blind panic. Part of her was yelling at her that she couldn't do this, not again. She had to calm down and get a hold of herself.
As Kittie fell into a panic so unlike herself, Pjera sat and watched as calmly as anything. At first she was confused as to why Kittie had not yet done anything. In every case she'd seen before, if there was trouble, Kittie had always been the first to react, to take action. Turning her sights to the boy who had just pushed her friend out of harm's way, a bit of a sigh escaped from the slight opening of her beak and she ruffled her feathers. Her eyes flashed a bright red as she parted her beak wide and let out a defeaning screech that would have even sent a banshee fleeing its sound.
Turning her head to face the one who had emitted such a sound, her body began to break out of its paralyzed state and a smile returned to her face.

Both Shade and Tsurui remained completely oblivious to the near deafening screech the large bird let out. Shade was focused solely on beating his master, and Tsurui was between wanting to win, and wanting to ensure Kittie's safety.
Shade though wasted no time, he lunged at Tsurui, knocking him to the ground. The bite of the metal shards digging into his flesh sent wave after wave of pain through his body. Tsurui didn't know quite what to do, normally in a situation like this, he would have already fought back, and quickly ended the fight...but Shade was his friend. Tsurui's blood splashed against the wall, as Shade attacked relentlessly.
Finally gathering his wits, Tsurui pushed Shade off him, and drew his own scythe, the blade shone in the bright moonlight, the surrounding area was bathed in a dim, blue-ish glow, as the moon hung in the sky. He looked over at Kittie, his blood pouring down his face, past his eyes, falling to the ground.

Her eyes filled with the glow of lightning as clouds began to fill the sky above them, heavy and dark. Focusing a glare on what had once been a bat, she let down a strike of lightning, not too high a voltage though, just enough to burn his clothes and singe his mask and send a nice little shock through his body. She didn't really want to injure her love's friend, but at the same time she didn't want to see her love be hurt by him. For a slight instant she thought of throwing herself at Shade on the offchance that he would not harm her but shook the thought from her mind. That would not do at all. Could she risk the possible pain it may cause her love if it turned out that Shade would not restrain his actions for her?

Tsurui, watched as the bolt of lightning struck Shade. he just shook his head and watched as the singed clothes and burns healed, almost instantaneously."Hehe, silly Kittie. I can see why he loves you so much." He just shook it off, and continued with his onslaught. "Come on Master, i know you can do better than this, you could have killed me if you wanted to by now..." Shade stopped for a moment, looking at Kittie, then Tsurui.
"Hmph, i get it. It's not that you can't fight back, it's cause you won't. I get it..." Shade stepped back, and bowed out, conceding from the fight, but no reverting back to his batty form. Instead he remained as he was. "Hey, you didn't win, and i didn't lose. So it's a draw, i'll stay like this, and you can stay the way you are, kay?" Shade didn't wait for a response, he just disappeared.
Tsurui, smiled at Kittie, and hobbled a few steps forward before collapsing. The sheer amount of blood lost was evident from the pool that now surrounded his feet.
