She rescued him by returning. "My apologies," she said as she sat. The waiter came by and she ordered a wine for Quiggly and a coffee for herself. Then she smiled at Quiggly, a different sort of smile then she had before. This was both warmer, and yet, more lacking. "You have not, I trust, told Norn about me yet? I assume you do wish to help her, so in order to do so, I must know what she knows already, see, I am a goddess as well."

Quigly's mouth hung open just a little. "I uh...mentioned that a lady used my phone before she got there...but I didn't give great detail...but how?"

"Ah good. Thank you. I am sent from Yggsril, I knew she would be assigned in this area, and was visiting the people she might be called to, to make a contact. I am to be testing her for her lisance. She cannot know, or even guess that I am here or it would invalidate the exam and she would have to wait to take it again. Can I ask your aid in helping with the testing process? You will be rewarded in thanks.
